About: I have been a lover animal live my whole life and have volunteered at multiple animal shelters with many responsibilities. I have taken care of dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, and even some farm animals I currently work full time from home and can work with most schedules. I am active and am able to take multiple walks or breaks a day. I am able to do visits multiple times a day or day sitting in my home. Since I work from home I can take my schedule to fit most needs.

About: What sets me apart is the love and attention I give to every pet I care for. I treat every animal like they are my own and take the time to learn their personality, routines, and individual needs. In a client’s home, I follow their normal routine and any specific instructions they provide for feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and bedtime. I make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of attention, and a clean and comfortable space. About: I’ve taken care of animals and have grown up around them most of my life. If it be for family and friends, my own pets, or house sitting. About: I have grown up around so many animals such as dogs, cats, livestock, fish and hamsters! I’ve learned how to take proper care of and give them the life they deserve and more. I do then work full time monday- friday 10-12 hour days, but weekends and some weekdays i’m available and all for playing with puppies and any other animals! At home I do not have a fenced in yard and my dogs know the commands and know where they’re allowed to go and where they’re not allowed to go. At a clients house I will accommodate any needs their pets may have or continue with the animals routines as close as I can!

About: I’ve raised two dogs on my own from puppies now one is 12 and one is 8 and they are great. I also have a year old kitten. They are great with other dogs. I have dog sat throughout the years on and off. I work overnights from home 3 nights a week and am off the other 4. My working nights are a little wonky but the dogs enjoy me being home all the time. I have a fully fenced in back yard as well as a house big enough to give all the pets their own space for down time

If your pet’s care routine requires extra attention to detail (meds/ supplements, specific routines) I have experience with all of that. I have owned horses for thirteen years, dogs and cats most of my life, and have been doing animal care for over five. I am available to house sit as well. Animal care is my job. I have clients with a variety of animals (horses, goats, chickens, cats, dogs etc.) I schedule my personal activities around my animal care jobs. As for professional experience with animals I would say I have 3-5 years of experience, I am currently working at a vet clinic as a veterinary assistant and I have gone to veterinary technician school. I currently have 1 dog and 3 cats. I am currently working full time at a vet clinic. I went to veterinary technician school but for now I’m working as a veterinary assistant. I can watch, walk or sit any day/ any time I have off normally Tuesdays, Sundays I’m also free anytime after 3:30 pm everyday. if u are unsure about a day or time I can watch your pet just message me and we can figure it out together. Im not currently caring for client pets in my home for the safety of my cats. I do offer house sitting at the clients house. If I’m staying at your house or just coming to let out your pet I can feed, water, brush and play with them if you are too busy or you just want your pet to have company I can also do that while you are at work or on a vacation.

About: Hello! My name is Tabatha Garman, I am the sole owner and operator of Special Paws Pet Care and a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). As a veterinary technician, I play the nurse role of the veterinary team. I graduated from Kent State University with my Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology in May of 2021 and am currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Integrated Studies focused in animal behavior. While in school for my technician license, I gained various hands-on skills with a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to birds, horses, snakes, and much more. Outside of school, I have trained at numerous veterinary hospitals and gained vital experience in CPR and emergency response. My personal experience caring for animals expands far beyond my education and career, as I have cared for my own, family's, and friend's pets my entire life. As previously mentioned, I have a vast range of experience with different species from small pocket pets and reptiles to large and farm animals. I love working with nearly any species, especially pigs and cows! My medication administration skills are just as vast, including giving various types of injections and fluids, oral pill and liquid administration, topical applications, etc. Any pets with special needs are assured to be taken care of! Specializing in animal behavior, those with unique personalities or who are a bit grumpy or naturally prefer alone time are some of my favorite to work with. I love working to understand them and win them over and am happy to try to work with any type of disposition or behavioral challenges. No job is too big or small. Whether you have a pet that needs daily medication, help getting around, and extra special care, or just want to feel comforted knowing that your furry family member is in great hands, I am happy to care for any and all of them. I am currently dedicating my time to in-home pet care while going to school full-time online, so I am free to fit your pet into my schedule however you may need. While I do personalize my schedule to fit your pet specifically, my typical day is scheduled like this and changed as needed, just to give you a better idea of your pet's time with me: When I arrive, I always spend time making sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and has everything they need. When staying with them overnight, I will keep them company until morning, make sure they have everything they need and get some pets or playtime in, then I will leave as needed to tend to any other appointments, making sure to return to check-in and spend time with them at minimum every 3-4 hours, unless more frequently is needed. Whether you just need a daily check in and play time for your cat while you're away, or if you need someone to take your pup out every couple of hours along with walks and lots of play time, or even if you have an older pup who can't really spend time alone at all, we can definitely make a plan to suit your family purrr-fectly. Your pet's safety is always my top priority. Whether at home, in the car, at the vet, out for a walk, or at the park, I am always extremely diligent to make sure your pet stays safe and sound. I always use doggy seatbelts or enclosures when driving, reflective strips and flashlights at night, ramps and manual assistance for mobility-challenged pups, predator-deterrent to protect them from harm, and vet-approved chews or boredom busters to make sure your pup is happier and healthier when you arrive back home. Out of an abundance of caution, I typically do not have pets I'm watching interact with other pets I'm unfamiliar with (ie: no communal dog parks). In the case that anything does happen while I am with them, I am trained on the safest and most effective way to stop a dog fight, as well as being trained in CPR, emergency triage and response, and homeostatic stabilization. I also always have a list of the nearest emergency hospitals on hand should they ever be needed. I strive to follow all pet-parent's wants and needs for their pets, including whatever training or rules you may have for your pet while they are in my care (crating, treats, toys, etc).
