“Ms. Lori was a blessing to me and my fur babies! She accepted to keep them for me as I had a last minute emergency and had to get to work. She was very sweet , updated me with pics and most of all she spoiled them with love and care the same way I would and truly appreciated her for that! They really enjoyed staying with her and we plan to keep her as a permanent sitter ❤️ thanks so much Lori!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities for many years, starting with family and friends and continuing with new clients. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, and loving downtime. I’m especially patient with shy, energetic, or anxious dogs and always focus on creating a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. I’m an online college student, so I’m home most of the day and have a very flexible schedule. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, allowing me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention. I’m available on weekdays and some weekends and can adjust my schedule to meet your dog’s needs. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I always take dogs outside on a leash for potty breaks and walks and closely supervise them at all times. I have two sweet, well-socialized dogs at home who are friendly and calm. I carefully introduce dogs, follow routines, and provide a clean, loving, low-stress environment.
About: Get $20 off your 1st booking with me. Ask me for promo code. Dogs need to be taken care of by people who understand them and obviously have love to give and care for them. I have been taking care of my Chihuahua and Pomeranian mixed for 12 years. Her name is Diamond. I never had an issue with training her because she is very attentive and a great listener. She has always been in excellent health and has everything she needs. My other dog, Bella is a Poodle mixed with a Shitzu. She is 3 years old. Her previous owner gave her to me because she was unable to properly care for her and trusted me to take her in as my own. Bella is so friendly and a ball of energy!! She is more excited than me and ready to have fun when new furr friends come to sit with us. I also had a Jack Russell Terrior named Diego. He was so lovable with so much energy and loved to play. I found him and made a home for him. He was healthy, smart and easy to train. My dogs get along with other dogs and they love kids. They love to play and be active. I like to workout so im pretty active and can help your dog get some exercise. So walking to the park will be great for me and your dog. I live in a gated apartment located near down town area. There is alot of yard space outside and it is suitable for any type of dog to reside here for a stay. There is plenty of room for them to run around and sleep. I think dogs should be free to roam in the house and be comfortable. Unless you prefer your dog to be separate I do have a cage for my dogs. I would like to communicate often to let you know how your dog is doing. So I mostly like to text, send pictures through the Rover app or call. I love dogs and I plan to have my own dog sitting business in the future. When taking care of other people's dogs, I treat them like precious jewels. They become apart of my family. I get attached to them quickly and it seems like dogs know right away if you are for them as well. My family has a Rottweiler and she is 9 years old. I watch her when they go out of town. She is a huge dog with a big heart and loves attention. She knows exactly who to come to. That is me! I show so much love when it comes to dogs. They bring me joy, relief stress, and are soothing to my soul. So becoming a dog sitter is one of the best things that I can do. I can make money doing what I love and that's caring for dogs! I cant think of anything better than that. Im a loving, patient, fun, and giving owner. Wouldn't you want someone like me to care for your dog? They are our family so they should be treated just as family! I want to be able to help others that need someone to care just as much as they do. Help me to help you and we will all be satisfied. Get $20 off your first booking with me. Ask me for promo code. Applies to new customers to Rover only! I'm currently working a full-time job through the week and have weekends off. Weekend stays are the best times for me to spend with your furr babies. If you need a sit through the week just ask me and I can arrange the perfect time for you. I have a fenced yard and plenty of yard space for your dog to run through and enjoy. They will have plenty of room to run around and sleep anywhere they feel comfortable. I do allow them on my furniture as well. I believe dogs should have their freedom but if you don't feel comfortable with your dog being around my dogs, I do have a cage for my dogs and can also separate them into another room for your comfort and peace of mind.
“Langston K. was very patient with my pup! He allowed him the space and time to get comfortable and sent plenty of pictures. I think we’ve found a new place for my pup to play!”

About: I enjoy dogs. I like to watch them, play with them and give them belly rubs. i enjoy their company and having them nuzzle my hand for head rubs. I am retired, so I am available to give time and care to animals in my daily and weekly routine. I enjoy playing with dogs, getting them to "sing" and rewarding with healthy treats. I have a fairly large fenced yard. My home is open concept, so aside from private spaces, I can see and interact with dogs. I have two dogs, a dachshund and a mixed pekingese/terrier. Both are spayed with up to date vaccinations.
About: I have been caring for animals since I was a child and it gives me great comfort and peace in a spiritual way. I am a home owner for 19 years in Douglasville Georgia and live alone. I am a US Navy Veteran and a writer/publisher for Onequalife LLC. I have seen how our environment harms animals life. I am an advocate for all life forms and we need to do better to protect them. Every day, I try to be the best version of myself to make all contacts positive and productive. My super power is patience and to learn new things. Writing is my passion and animals are my comfort. Making a connection with a new animal is a blessing for me. Lots of Love and Smiles for the Soul. As a child, I always have been spending time with our family animals. I have the time and experience with a safe caring fun loving home. I also have a fenced backyard with two sections and a large basement on two acres property. Safety always comes first and I always treat cats or dogs like toddlers. I always have a watchful eye on them and feed and keep them safe.

About: I've been caring for pets for over 10 years — dogs and cats belonging to friends and family who trust me completely, and that trust means everything to me. What makes my care different is that it's never one-size-fits-all. If your dog lives for walks, we walk. If they're all about the ball, we play. If they just want to curl up next to someone, I'm right there. Every pet gets care shaped around who they are, not a standard routine. My home is child-free and pet-free, so your baby isn't competing for attention — they are the focus of my entire day. And when you pick them up? They'll be freshly bathed, happy, and ready to go home. Baths are always on me. PLEASE NOTE: I can board up to 4 pets from the same family at one time, as the pets all know each other. I do not take multiple pets from different families to board at the same time. It's often stressful for the animals and I don't get to enjoy your pet if he is stressed out by strange animals. My home is child-free and animal-free, which means your pet gets a calm, quiet environment with zero stress from other animals and no chaotic energy. They are the sole focus of my day. For dogs: I follow your routine to the letter — feeding times, walk schedule, medications, treats, favorite spots. I ease new guests in gently because I know the first few hours matter most. If your dog loves walks, we walk. If they're a ball dog, we play. They get care shaped around who they are, not a generic routine. Every dog goes home with a complimentary bath so they're clean, happy, and ready to see you. For cats: I understand cats aren't small dogs — they need something completely different. I give them a safe, quiet space to settle in at their own pace, no forcing interaction. I read their cues — whether they want lap time, window watching, or just a calm human nearby. Litter box hygiene is spotless and non-negotiable. I'm very careful about doors, windows, and escape points so your indoor cat stays safely indoors. For all pets: I monitor eating and behavior closely and flag anything off straight away. You'll get regular photo and video updates — as many or as few as you'd like. I've been caring for pets for over 10 years for people who trust me like family, and I take that trust seriously. My goal is simple: your baby comes home calm, happy, and exactly themselves. I do have a fenced yard but do not allow dogs to go out alone unsupervised. I enjoy walking dogs and will keep the routine that you have with your dog. I only take cats and dogs at the same time from the same family. I will always confirm any animal is up to date with vaccines and flea treatments first.

“Shay provided top notch service to our puppy “Max” She sent us pictures daily and responded to phone calls and text promptly. Shay was very accommodating when my family and I decided to stay”

“I absolutely loved leaving my Melo with Taniesha. She made me feel so comfortable as this was my first time ever leaving my dog with someone else. Our initial phone conversation put me at ease along with the meet and greet. I decided to try daycare the next day. Though I was nervous at first she reassured me everything would be and is fine through pictures and video. When I picked my Melo up he was happy as usual and smelled so good☺️ She even was so helpful to be after hours when I had general dog questions. I do recommend Taniesha for your pet care services.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 1,854 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Fouts Mill. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Fouts Mill commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,854 sitters in Fouts Mill, 84% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
