Tietoja: I’ve cared for dogs for most of my life through family, friends, and neighbours. My family has two dogs at home in Ireland, and I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 4 years old. I recently moved to Helsinki, and since I don’t have a dog here, I’d love the opportunity to spend time with dogs while providing owners with dependable, caring support. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, and giving dogs calm, consistent attention. I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy being around dogs of different sizes and personalities. I understand how important it is for owners to feel that their dog is safe, happy, and well looked after, so I always aim to provide attentive care, regular updates, and a positive experience for both pets and owners. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine, and I’m happy to make time for boarding, walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and companionship. Tietoja: Hi, we are Jingyi and Rasmus. We have been looking after the dogs of friends and colleagues together since 2023. We both grew up in families with dogs and have been around them since childhood, Rasmus with a Finnish Lapphund and me with a Papillon mix rescue dog. We have experience with dogs of different personalities and energy levels. We both can work from home, so your dog will have company and supervision for most of the day. We are available on both weekdays and weekends and take dogs out at least three times a day. While we occasionally go out in the evenings or on weekends, it would be nice if your dog would be comfortable staying home alone for a few hours when needed. The rest of the time, your dog will have plenty of company, exercise, and affection. We provide a safe, calm, and loving home environment in our two-room apartment in Itä-Pasila. Our home is best suited for small to medium-sized dogs (under 25 kg). There is a dog park right next to our building, making outdoor time easy and convenient. We only accept vaccinated, fully house-trained dogs that toilet outdoors and do not regularly have accidents indoors. We always follow each dog’s routine, feeding schedule, and individual needs. We are happy to send regular photo updates so owners can feel confident their dog is happy and well cared for.

Tietoja: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life—from my first Border Collie at age six to my beloved Sri Lankan street dog, whom I rescued when he was just three days old. He grew up with me for 20 wonderful years and taught me everything about love, patience, and loyalty. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I raised my rescue from his first days—feeding him, training him, and helping him grow into a loving, trusting companion. Later in his life, when he lost his eyesight and developed cancer, I supported him through every step, including gentle guidance, medication, and even chemotherapy. He passed peacefully in my arms at 20 years old, after a lifetime of unconditional love. Now, my sweet Labrador is back home in Sri Lanka, and I’m saving up to bring him here. I miss him deeply and miss being surrounded by dogs—their loving energy, playfulness, and the pure joy they bring with no expectations. That’s why I’ve joined Rover: to share my lifelong love and experience with other pets, caring for them as if they were my own. I’m currently a bachelor’s student, but I only have classes on two days a week. The rest of the week—including evenings and weekends—I’m completely free and flexible. That means I have plenty of time to focus on your pets, give them my full attention, and adjust my schedule to fit their needs. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets can feel right at home. My apartment is pet-friendly and located on the second floor, with a secure balcony for fresh air and relaxation. I live only with my daughter—no other people, no smoking—so it’s a quiet, clean space that’s perfect for pets. My first “own” dog that was not a family dog I got in 2022, I have trained him all by myself and even did dog sports like agility and mantrailing with him. We moved to Helsinki in the summer and I’m now looking forward to take care of your dogs and go on walks with them. I do take all kinds of dogs and also every age, dogs with behavioural issues are also welcome as I have plenty of experience with such. Viimeiset noin 15 vuotta kodissamme tai lähipiirissäni on kuitenkin aina ollut koira, joten olen kasvanut koirien ympäröimänä. Muutama vuosi sitten adoptoin seniorikoiran, joka vietti viimeiset vuotensa kanssani. Vuosien varrelta on kertynyt kokemusta kaikenikäisistä koirista, ihan pienistä pennuista iäkkäisiin koiriin. Tietoja: Olen hoitanut pieni- ja keskikokoisia koiria noin 13 vuotta. Omana vastuuna borderterrieri uros Saku 12-vuotiaasta alkaen ja nyt perheenjäsenteni kahta koiraa, kääpiö snautseri naaras 3v ja borderterrieri naaras 5v. Tulen toimeen koiran kuin koiran kanssa ja innokkaana odotan tapaavani lisää karvakavereita! :-) En ole töissä lainkaan juuri nyt, joten hyvin löytyy aikaa sovittaessa niin aamusta iltaan ja arjesta viikonlopulle! Olen joustava aikojen kanssa ja pienelläkin varoitusajalla voi onnistua samana päivänäkin😊 Asun pienessä asunnossa (28m2) yhdessä mieheni kanssa, asunto on siisti ja turvallinen ja lähellä niin Rajasaaren kuin sibeliuspuiston koirapuistot sekä reippaasti hyviä ulkoilutus alueita. Talo jossa asumme on rauhallinen!

Since then we adopted several cats and dogs into our houses and I have been missing them all dearly. Living in a new country I would love to be surrounded by pets just like I was back home. Tietoja: 33-vuotias suomenruotsalainen helsinkiläinen. Asun poikaystäväni ja 2-vuotiaan labradorinnoutajani Winnien kanssa kerrostalokaksiossa (2 krs, hissi löytyy). Voit lukea Winniestä lisää profiilistani. Kotimme sijaitsee meren äärellä, ja ympäristössä on upeat ulkoilu- ja lenkkeilymaastot. Työskentelen kokoaikaisesti, mutta käyn toimistolla yleensä 3 päivänä viikossa. Joskus saatamme tarvita apua esimerkiksi päivälenkkien tai iltalenkkien kanssa. Toisaalta toivoisin myös Winnielle lisää koiraseuraa joko yhteisille lenkeille tai tilanteisiin, joissa tarvitset koirallesi hoitopaikkaa päiväksi tai viikonlopuksi. Kokemus Winnie on ensimmäinen oma koirani, mutta koirat ovat olleet osa elämääni aivan lapsuudesta asti. Perheessämme on ollut labradoreja, rottweilereita, mäyräkoiria ja terriereitä. Olen myös työskennellyt koiranhoitajana Ruotsissa useiden vuosien ajan, joten minulla on kokemusta niin pennuista kuin iäkkäämmistäkin koirista, monista eri roduista ja erilaisista tarpeista sekä uroksista että nartuista. Olen hoitanut säännöllisiä päivittäisiä lenkkejä sekä pidempiä hoitojaksoja omassa kodissani vakioasiakkaille. En ole koulutettu koirankouluttaja, mutta olen auttanut aiempia asiakkaitani esimerkiksi hihnakäytöksen harjoittelussa ja eroahdistukseen liittyvissä haasteissa. Teemme päivän aikana useita lyhyitä ulkoiluja sekä pari pidempää lenkkiä. Huolehdin siitä, ettei asunnossa ole mitään koiralle vaarallista saatavilla.

Tietoja: He convivido con mascotas toda mi vida, y desde hace dos años cuido a mi perrito actual, lo que me ha dado una comprensión profunda de sus rutinas, necesidades y formas de comunicarse. Sé lo importante que es sentir tranquilidad cuando tienes que viajar y dejar a tu compañero peludo en manos de alguien más. Mi servicio está pensado especialmente para papás y mamás perrunos que necesitan salir un fin de semana y buscan a alguien responsable, cariñosa y atenta que cuide de su mascota como si fuera propia. Me enfoco en ofrecer un ambiente seguro, rutinas estables y mucha compañía, para que tu perrito se sienta cómodo y tú puedas viajar con total confianza. Trabajo tiempo completo, pero los viernes y lunes normalmente teletrabajo, lo que me permite estar más presente y disponible para cuidar a tu perrito durante los fines de semana. Esto hace que pueda ofrecer un ambiente tranquilo, supervisado y con mucha compañía. Vivo en una casa de dos pisos, amplia y con suficiente espacio para que los perritos se muevan con libertad. A solo 300 metros hay un parque para perros y varias zonas verdes alrededor, lo que permite paseos frecuentes y un ambiente tranquilo para ellos. Me adapto a las rutinas de cada mascota: horarios de comida, paseos, juegos y momentos de descanso. Si el cuidado es en la casa del dueño, sigo exactamente las indicaciones que me den para que el perrito mantenga su rutina habitual y se sienta acompañado y tranquilo.

Tietoja: Olen hoitanut omia koiriani 11-vuotiaasta asti. Olen lenkittänyt, ruokkinut sekä huolehtinut, että niillä on kaikki hyvin. Ovat itse nyt vähän vanhempia, mutta pystyn huolehtimaan kaikenikäisistä koirista, sillä olen nähnyt omien koirien elämänkaaren. Olen tällä hetkellä käytettävissä todella hyvin ja pikaisella aikataululla! Jos tulee äkkilähtö jonnekkin, minuun voi luottaa siihen, että hoidan koiraasi! Otan tilanteen kuin tilanteen hyvin haltuun! Asun itse kerrostalossa, tilavassa kaksiossa. Lähistöllä on paljon metsää, johon useat koirat menevät leikkimään. Alue, jossa asun, asuu myös paljon muita koiria, joista saa varmasti leikkikavereita!

Tietoja: Olen kasvanut koiraperheessä; meillä on ollut sekä tiibetinspanieli että lapinkoira. Lisäksi olen lenkittänyt naapuruston koiria nuorempana. Minulla on kokemusta päivittäisestä hoidosta, lenkityksestä ja koirien kanssa toimimisesta. Teen tällä hetkellä osa-aikaisena pääasiassa iltavuoroja, joten aikatauluni vaihtelee hieman. Nopealla varoituksella yön yli vierailut voivat olla haastavia, sillä haluan tarjota koiralle riittävän tiheän mahdollisuuden päästä ulos. Vastaan kuitenkin nopeasti ja sovitaan ajat joustavasti. Koiria hoidetaan kuin omia ja tietenkin koiran omat tarpeet huomioonottaen. Leikitetään pentuja, käytetään lenkeillä, huolehditaan mahdollisista lääkityksistä. Asun viihtyisässä ja tilavassa yksiössä Helsingin kannelmäellä. Omaa pihaa ei ole, mutta luontopolkuja, puistoja ja koirapuistoja on lähettyvillä.
