We have looked after a Norwegein Elkhound breed countless of times and we think we can take a good care of your dog too! Työskentelen kokoaikaisesti, mutta käyn toimistolla yleensä 3 päivänä viikossa. Joskus saatamme tarvita apua esimerkiksi päivälenkkien tai iltalenkkien kanssa. Toisaalta toivoisin myös Winnielle lisää koiraseuraa joko yhteisille lenkeille tai tilanteisiin, joissa tarvitset koirallesi hoitopaikkaa päiväksi tai viikonlopuksi. Kokemus Winnie on ensimmäinen oma koirani, mutta koirat ovat olleet osa elämääni aivan lapsuudesta asti. Perheessämme on ollut labradoreja, rottweilereita, mäyräkoiria ja terriereitä. Olen myös työskennellyt koiranhoitajana Ruotsissa useiden vuosien ajan, joten minulla on kokemusta niin pennuista kuin iäkkäämmistäkin koirista, monista eri roduista ja erilaisista tarpeista sekä uroksista että nartuista. Olen hoitanut säännöllisiä päivittäisiä lenkkejä sekä pidempiä hoitojaksoja omassa kodissani vakioasiakkaille. Teemme päivän aikana useita lyhyitä ulkoiluja sekä pari pidempää lenkkiä. Huolehdin siitä, ettei asunnossa ole mitään koiralle vaarallista saatavilla.

With years of experience, I’ve cared for countless breeds from tiny Pugs to large Cane Corsos handling everything from training to medication. My cozy 52m² apartment is pet-friendly, and if your dog loves cuddles or sleeping in bed, that’s totally fine! For active pups, theirs is great dog park nearby. And the neighborhood is absolutely lovely with a beautiful park by the water.

Hoito onnistuu joko mun luona tai vaihtoehtoisesti myös eläimen ja eläimen omistajan kotona. - Molemmat hoitomuodot on mulle tuttuja, kummin vaan tuntuu teille luontevammalta. Pieniä lapsia mulla ei ole, eikä terveydellisiä esteitä eläintenhoidolle. Omassa kodissa hoidan maksimissaan kahta koiraa/kissaa kerrallaan (ainoastaan samasta perheestä). We both grew up in families with dogs and have been around them since childhood, Rasmus with a Finnish Lapphund and me with a Papillon mix rescue dog. We have experience with dogs of different personalities and energy levels. We both can work from home, so your dog will have company and supervision for most of the day. We are available on both weekdays and weekends and take dogs out at least three times a day. While we occasionally go out in the evenings or on weekends, it would be nice if your dog would be comfortable staying home alone for a few hours when needed. The rest of the time, your dog will have plenty of company, exercise, and affection. We provide a safe, calm, and loving home environment in our two-room apartment in Itä-Pasila. Our home is best suited for small to medium-sized dogs (under 25 kg). There is a dog park right next to our building, making outdoor time easy and convenient. We only accept vaccinated, fully house-trained dogs that toilet outdoors and do not regularly have accidents indoors. We always follow each dog’s routine, feeding schedule, and individual needs. We are happy to send regular photo updates so owners can feel confident their dog is happy and well cared for.

Työkseni hoidan vanhuksia ja olen toiminut sairaanhoitajan ammatissa kaksi ja puoli vuotta. Työni on kaksivuorotyötä ja siihen kuuluu myös viikonloppuvuoroja. Pääasiassa olen kuitenkin vapaalla viikonloppuisin sekä vuoroni ovat tavallisesti aamuvuoroja. Asun lemmikkiystävällisessä kerrostalossa kumppanini kanssa. Kotimme on tilava ja sen lähellä on loistavat ulkoilumaastot. Kun hoidan lemmikkiäsi, pidän huolta, että olen tavoiteltavissa puhelimitse. Olen toiveidenne mukaan yhteydessä myös teihin siitä, mitä lemmikillenne kuuluu ja pidemmillä hoitojaksoilla voidaan sopia erikseen yhteydenpidosta lemmikkinne asioita koskien.

Tietoja: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life—from my first Border Collie at age six to my beloved Sri Lankan street dog, whom I rescued when he was just three days old. He grew up with me for 20 wonderful years and taught me everything about love, patience, and loyalty. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I raised my rescue from his first days—feeding him, training him, and helping him grow into a loving, trusting companion. Later in his life, when he lost his eyesight and developed cancer, I supported him through every step, including gentle guidance, medication, and even chemotherapy. He passed peacefully in my arms at 20 years old, after a lifetime of unconditional love. Now, my sweet Labrador is back home in Sri Lanka, and I’m saving up to bring him here. I miss him deeply and miss being surrounded by dogs—their loving energy, playfulness, and the pure joy they bring with no expectations. That’s why I’ve joined Rover: to share my lifelong love and experience with other pets, caring for them as if they were my own. I’m currently a bachelor’s student, but I only have classes on two days a week. The rest of the week—including evenings and weekends—I’m completely free and flexible. That means I have plenty of time to focus on your pets, give them my full attention, and adjust my schedule to fit their needs. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets can feel right at home. My apartment is pet-friendly and located on the second floor, with a secure balcony for fresh air and relaxation. I live only with my daughter—no other people, no smoking—so it’s a quiet, clean space that’s perfect for pets. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in their own, I make sure they’re comfortable, well-fed, and loved. I enjoy spending time playing, giving them plenty of attention, and making sure they feel happy and secure. I can also help with baths, brushing, and keeping their space tidy. Pets are welcome to relax wherever they like—on the bed, sofa, or by my side!

Tietoja: 🇺🇸 ENGLISH ONLY I have grown up with dogs, as my family always owned dogs. My first “own” dog that was not a family dog I got in 2022, I have trained him all by myself and even did dog sports like agility and mantrailing with him. We moved to Helsinki in the summer and I’m now looking forward to take care of your dogs and go on walks with them. I do take all kinds of dogs and also every age, dogs with behavioural issues are also welcome as I have plenty of experience with such. Just please let me know in advance if your dog has any special needs 🥰 I am a student of Information Technology and don’t have a fixed timeline. So I have plenty of time around the week and am pretty flexible.

Tietoja: My first dog was Yorkshire terrier named Bolt. He was the first furry friend that my family adopted. Since then we adopted several cats and dogs into our houses and I have been missing them all dearly. Living in a new country I would love to be surrounded by pets just like I was back home. I’m currently working part-time during weekends (Friday-Sunday). So those days I’m occupied during the day. Besides, my week is pretty flexible. So feel free to let me know what works for you :3 I had an experience with rover before and hosted dogs of very different ages and temperaments. I am super adaptable to the needs of furry individuals. I believe that my experience in having my own baby pets and seeing them grow taught me a lot.
