Aloitin naapuruston koirien ulkoiluttamisen jo yli 20 vuotta sitten, aikana jolloin perheessämme ei vielä ollut omia koiria. Viimeiset noin 15 vuotta kodissamme tai lähipiirissäni on kuitenkin aina ollut koira, joten olen kasvanut koirien ympäröimänä. Muutama vuosi sitten adoptoin seniorikoiran, joka vietti viimeiset vuotensa kanssani. Vuosien varrelta on kertynyt kokemusta kaikenikäisistä koirista, ihan pienistä pennuista iäkkäisiin koiriin. Hoidossani niiden hyvinvointi ja onnellisuus ovat aina etusijalla. — Dogs have always been an important part of my life - I truly love being around them and caring for them. I started walking neighborhood dogs over 20 years ago, back when my family didn’t yet have any of our own. For the past 15 years, there has always been a dog in our household, so I’ve grown up surrounded by them. A few years ago, I adopted a senior dog who spent his final years by my side. Over time, I’ve gained hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, from tiny puppies to elderly companions, and in my care, their well-being and happiness always come first. Shorter visits, such as walks and feeding, are easy to arrange within the Helsinki area, but I’m also happy to welcome your pet into my home for longer stays, for example during your vacation. Tietoja: My partner and I wish to own a dog one day in the future (Golden Retriever) so we thought this would be a great platform to meet more dog owners! We have looked after a Norwegein Elkhound breed countless of times and we think we can take a good care of your dog too! I’m currently a master’s student studying from home, my partner also WFH full time, so we both will have plenty of time and flexibility to take care and play with your pups! I’m usually available everyday except if there is a small event happening - very flexible! We live in a spacious flat with comfortable living rooms and bedrooms, plus a fenced garden where dogs can play safely. We always make sure our place is a clean, secure, and caring environment.

Tietoja: I’ve taken care of dog ever since I was a kid and had my own dogs since then. I have also taken care of shelter dogs and adopted them since I was a kid. Neighbours and friends have relied on me to feed, bathe and walk them. Once, I have taken care of my sister’s dog for 28 days straight while she was in different country. So, I’m pretty comfortable with them. I’m a student right now and it fits into my schedule almost everyday. Since most of my studies aren’t contact teaching, it is manageable and I can dog sit even in weekdays and weekends. My home offers a safe, stimulating and safe environment. I’m mindful of potential hazards. Also when I’m in your home, my priority would be to follow your instructions for feeding, walks and playtime. I’ll also make sure your pets gets the same amount of attention and exercise they’re used to.

Tietoja: Olen hoitanut pieni- ja keskikokoisia koiria noin 13 vuotta. Omana vastuuna borderterrieri uros Saku 12-vuotiaasta alkaen ja nyt perheenjäsenteni kahta koiraa, kääpiö snautseri naaras 3v ja borderterrieri naaras 5v. Tulen toimeen koiran kuin koiran kanssa ja innokkaana odotan tapaavani lisää karvakavereita! :-) En ole töissä lainkaan juuri nyt, joten hyvin löytyy aikaa sovittaessa niin aamusta iltaan ja arjesta viikonlopulle! Olen joustava aikojen kanssa ja pienelläkin varoitusajalla voi onnistua samana päivänäkin😊 Asun pienessä asunnossa (28m2) yhdessä mieheni kanssa, asunto on siisti ja turvallinen ja lähellä niin Rajasaaren kuin sibeliuspuiston koirapuistot sekä reippaasti hyviä ulkoilutus alueita. Talo jossa asumme on rauhallinen!

Tietoja: Hi, we are Jingyi and Rasmus. We have been looking after the dogs of friends and colleagues together since 2023. We both grew up in families with dogs and have been around them since childhood, Rasmus with a Finnish Lapphund and me with a Papillon mix rescue dog. We have experience with dogs of different personalities and energy levels. We both can work from home, so your dog will have company and supervision for most of the day. We are available on both weekdays and weekends and take dogs out at least three times a day. While we occasionally go out in the evenings or on weekends, it would be nice if your dog would be comfortable staying home alone for a few hours when needed. The rest of the time, your dog will have plenty of company, exercise, and affection. We provide a safe, calm, and loving home environment in our two-room apartment in Itä-Pasila. Our home is best suited for small to medium-sized dogs (under 25 kg). There is a dog park right next to our building, making outdoor time easy and convenient. We only accept vaccinated, fully house-trained dogs that toilet outdoors and do not regularly have accidents indoors. We always follow each dog’s routine, feeding schedule, and individual needs. We are happy to send regular photo updates so owners can feel confident their dog is happy and well cared for.

Lapsuuteni olen asunut maalla ja perheelläni on ollut lehmiä, hevosia, kissoja sekä koiria, joiden hoitoon olen päässyt osallistumaan jo lapsesta asti. Minulla on hoitokokemusta kaiken ikäisistä lemmikeistä. Olen aktiivinen ja välittävä lemmikinhoitaja. Pidän pitkistä lenkeistä ja asunkin loistavien ulkoilumahdollisuuksien äärellä. Ymmärrän lemmikkisi yksilölliset tarpeet ja pystyn mukauttamaan palveluni lemmikkisi tarpesiin sopiviksi. Minulla ei ole tällä hetkellä omia lemmikkejä. Työkseni hoidan vanhuksia ja olen toiminut sairaanhoitajan ammatissa kaksi ja puoli vuotta. Työni on kaksivuorotyötä ja siihen kuuluu myös viikonloppuvuoroja. Pääasiassa olen kuitenkin vapaalla viikonloppuisin sekä vuoroni ovat tavallisesti aamuvuoroja. Asun lemmikkiystävällisessä kerrostalossa kumppanini kanssa. Kotimme on tilava ja sen lähellä on loistavat ulkoilumaastot. Kun hoidan lemmikkiäsi, pidän huolta, että olen tavoiteltavissa puhelimitse. Tietoja: From a young age, I have always been obsessed with animals, however do to family allergies we could only temporarily care for others’ animals. During my uni studies I had the opportunity to work as a pet sitter, caring for both cats and dogs of various sizes and shapes. I have cared for 45+ kg Belgian mountain dogs, as well as 4kg chihuahuas. I also have had experience with pets of all ages, from puppies to elderlies that have had partial paralyses. I am currently taking a gap year from studies and doing part-time volunteer work. When I do work, I have very flexible hours and also work-from-home possibilities. I live a very active lifestyle and love exercising in nature, so taking dogs to explore is part of the routine. Additionally, I have access to a car, meaning I can transport pets around easily. I always treat pets with the utmost care and caution, making sure all of their needs are met in terms of comfort and stability. When I stay at your house, I make sure to treat the place with care and caution, leaving it spotless when I leave. I also can care for any plants during longer stays. I live in a two floored house where there is plenty of space downstairs to play and relax. We also have a large yard where the dogs can run around freely and play. The yard is fenced, but of course dogs would never be left outside alone. We have open stairs and I have noticed that some dogs are afraid of going up the stairs. If necessary, the dog can be carried up, but the downstairs is well equipped for dogs and they can comfortable be there.

Tietoja: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life—from my first Border Collie at age six to my beloved Sri Lankan street dog, whom I rescued when he was just three days old. He grew up with me for 20 wonderful years and taught me everything about love, patience, and loyalty. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I raised my rescue from his first days—feeding him, training him, and helping him grow into a loving, trusting companion. Later in his life, when he lost his eyesight and developed cancer, I supported him through every step, including gentle guidance, medication, and even chemotherapy. He passed peacefully in my arms at 20 years old, after a lifetime of unconditional love. Now, my sweet Labrador is back home in Sri Lanka, and I’m saving up to bring him here. I miss him deeply and miss being surrounded by dogs—their loving energy, playfulness, and the pure joy they bring with no expectations. That’s why I’ve joined Rover: to share my lifelong love and experience with other pets, caring for them as if they were my own. I’m currently a bachelor’s student, but I only have classes on two days a week. The rest of the week—including evenings and weekends—I’m completely free and flexible. That means I have plenty of time to focus on your pets, give them my full attention, and adjust my schedule to fit their needs.
