Über: I’m originally from Mexico City and now living in Heidelberg with my husband and our five-year-old cat, P-Chan. He’s sweet, clingy, moody, and adorable—so I’m very familiar with all types of cat personalities. I speak English, Spanish, and Italian, and I’m currently learning German (A2.2). Communication is easy, and I always make sure to understand your pet’s needs clearly. I have years of experience caring for cats, including long-haired breeds that need extra grooming and patience. I’m very comfortable with brushing, cleaning eyes and faces, giving shy cats space, and keeping up with their routines. I love playful kitties as much as those who need a gentler, slower approach. I currently also care for several stray cats in my neighborhood. I regularly feed them, provide fresh water, help improve their shelters, and gently check on their well-being. Looking after them has taught me to be patient, observant, and deeply attentive to small changes in behavior or health. I do my best to make sure they feel safe, cared for, and not alone. We recently adopted a couple of them, and we're so happy to have them as part of our family. I also love rodents and small animals—I’ve cared for rabbits and am happy to look after guinea pigs, hamsters, and ferrets. I make sure they have a safe, clean environment and plenty of enrichment so they feel comfortable and happy. When it comes to dogs, I’m not an expert yet, but I genuinely enjoy being around them and connect with them easily. I have experience with friendly, social dogs through walking, sitting for friends, and handling calm dogs of different sizes. I focus on being calm, patient, and positive so dogs feel safe and comfortable with me. During visits or overnight stays, I take care of feeding, fresh water, litter or walks, playtime, cuddles, and any small home-care tasks. I follow your instructions carefully, maintain a safe environment, and give each pet individual attention. I also send updates so you can relax while you’re away. Plus I love taking awesome photos of the pets, so you’ll have lots of cute memories to keep ♥️ My goal is to make sure your cats, dogs, and small pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for—just like they deserve. During the week, I study German in the mornings, which gives structure to my day. I also care for stray cats in my neighborhood, so looking after animals is already part of my routine. The rest of my day is flexible and available for pet sitting, allowing me to dedicate quality time to each pet. I provide attentive and responsible care tailored to each pet’s individual needs. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding schedules, exercise, and any medical or behavioral requirements. I maintain a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment, and I ensure pets are supervised at all times. Regular updates can be provided for peace of mind.

Über: I’m still new to pet sitting, but what sets me apart is my patience, calm personality, and the joy I feel around animals. I may not have special training, but I’m very attentive and always follow instructions carefully. I’m good at observing pets’ behavior, respecting their space, and taking time to build trust. With clear guidance from the owner, I will do my best to provide gentle care, daily routines, walks, feeding, playtime and lots of comfort. I’m happy to send photos/video updates so you always feel connected to your pet while you’re away. My schedule is flexible on Fridays and weekends. I enjoy taking breaks from research by spending time with little friends, it’s grounding and healing for me. I’m available for visits, feeding, walks, playtime and companionship, especially in the Heidelberg Rohrbach area and within ~15 km. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I would definitely follow the owner’s instructions regarding food, treats, walking routes, routines and any special needs. I never give new food without permission, and I keep a close eye on behavior, mood and body language. I communicate clearly and can send regular updates so you feel comfortable and informed.

Über: While I, growing up, never had cats of my own, I often took care of neighbour's and friend's cats. I first had cats of my own when I got into University and have since never stopped adoring them. Sophie – who's had a cat for all her life – and I have done many, many catsits at great places like Paris and Lake Como. Still, the animals were always the highlights and we really enjoy spending time with them, from street cat to Bengal. We've also often had to give medicine – pills, granulate or even with a syringe. This should be no problem for us at all. Sadly, neither of us was ever able to have a dog. Still, through weekly dogwalks at the shelter, my sister's or friend's dogs or dogsits, we've gotten plenty of experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds. As students we're quite flexible and happy to hear from you about time needs and requirements. We'll make it work or be transparent about time limits. We'll be happy to follow all your directives and guidelines and provide you with frequent updates and pictures of your animals. Whatever the need, I'm sure we'll manage.

Über: Ich lebe mein ganzes Leben mit Tieren! Seit meiner Geburt gab es bei uns zu Hause immer Katzen, Hunde und verschiedene andere Haustiere. Auch als Erwachsene vertrauen mir Freunde, Nachbarn und Kollegen ihre Tiere an – und ich helfe immer sehr gerne! Ich arbeite in Teilzeit. Ich kann Ihr Tier für eine längere oder kürzere Zeit bei mir aufnehmen, es ausführen oder zu Ihnen nach Hause kommen, um es zu füttern – ganz nach Bedarf. Ich habe im Moment keine eigenen Tiere, deshalb wird sich Ihr Haustier bei mir sehr wohl fühlen. Falls Sie möchten, kann ich auch eine gemeinsame Betreuung mit einem anderen Tier anbieten. Für Spaziergänge mit Hunden gibt es in der Nähe schöne Parks und Grünflächen.

Über: Seit 2020 laufe ich mindestens einmal die Woche mit Hunden aus dem Tierheim. Deshalb kenne ich eigentlich jegliche Art von Hund und Charakter und traue mir zu, auch mit größeren Rassen oder komplizierteren Fällen unterwegs zu sein. Ich laufe gerne auch mit größeren Hunden, die letzte Zeit bin ich viel mit einem Hund gelaufen, der knapp 60kg wiegt :) Prinzipiell bin ich relativ flexibel, da ich vor kurzem meine Masterarbeit abgegeben habe und deshalb zurzeit viel Freizeit habe. Wenn ich rechtzeitig Bescheid bekomme, kann ich auch gerne mehrere Tage. Eigentlich ist alles möglich, sofern es rechtzeitig kommuniziert wird :) Ich wohne in einer WG, in der Hunde prinzipiell erlaubt sind. Trotzdem versuche ich, wenn ich Hunde betreue, so viel wie möglich draußen zu sein!

Über: I have had 3 dogs in my life. German shepherd female, doberman male, and currently Beagle female. I am very comfortable around them and read their behaviors very quickly. I work home office as a computer scientist. Quite flexible to take care of a dog, have an apartment with enough space to keep them. Apartment has cameras, video controlled doors, and many windows for keeping the apartment airy. Also a balcony in case the would dog like that area. I spend time in different parts of apartment with the dog and let them decide what part they like or prefer.

Über: As a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet caretaker, I know how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and understood. Growing up, I cared for many animals, including three dogs at once, which taught me the value of patience, attentiveness, and adaptability. Now, as a PhD student with a flexible schedule and a mobile lifestyle that prevents me from having a pet of my own, I find joy in caring for others’ furry companions. I live in a peaceful home surrounded by plenty of space and forests, perfect for walks, playtime, or simply enjoying nature. I truly enjoy adjusting to each dog’s unique needs, whether they love active adventures or prefer a calm and relaxed environment. From the moment we meet, I’ll treat your pet like part of my family, giving them all the love, care, and attention they deserve while you’re away. I work from home and make my own hours so I have a lot of flexibility in coming to your house or bring the pet to mine and caring for them as I work. Although I have a fenced in courtyard, it is best the pet stays inside as to avoid it getting lose. Therefore for all outdoor time I will be able to take them out for however long they need. The care is completely pet specific and I will rely on you to give strict important instructions for care!

Über: Ich heiße Augustin, bin 18 Jahre alt und komme aus Reilingen. Tiere gehören für mich seit meiner Kindheit zum Alltag. Seit meinem zehnten Lebensjahr habe ich mit mehreren Katzen zusammengelebt und aktuell habe ich selbst eine Ragdoll-Katze. Daher weiß ich, wie wichtig es ist, sein Tier jemandem anzuvertrauen, bei dem man wirklich ein gutes Gefühl hat. Ich betreue Katzen und Hunde zuverlässig und gehe dabei auf den Charakter und die Gewohnheiten jedes Tieres ein. Bei Hausbesuchen kümmere ich mich um Futter, frisches Wasser, Katzenklo, Spielen und natürlich ausreichend Aufmerksamkeit. Auf Wunsch schicke ich nach jedem Besuch Fotos und eine kurze Rückmeldung, damit du weißt, dass alles in Ordnung ist. Auch Gassi-Runden, Tagesbetreuung und Betreuung über Nacht sind nach Absprache möglich. Neue Tiere lerne ich vorher gerne kurz kennen, damit die Betreuung von Anfang an ruhig und stressfrei abläuft. Ich bin mobil, halte mich an Absprachen und gehe mit deinem Tier sowie deinem Zuhause respektvoll um. Mir ist wichtig, dass sich nicht nur das Tier wohlfühlt, sondern auch der Besitzer beruhigt sein kann. Ich arbeite aktuell in Teilzeit und kann meine Zeiten deshalb gut planen. Unter der Woche bin ich je nach Tag nachmittags oder abends verfügbar. Am Wochenende bin ich meistens flexibler und kann auch morgens oder mehrmals am Tag vorbeikommen. Für Katzenbetreuung passt es für mich besonders gut, wenn ich zum Füttern, Wasser wechseln, Katzenklo reinigen und kurz zum Spielen oder Nachschauen vorbeikomme. Wenn genaue Zeiten wichtig sind, kann man das natürlich vorher besprechen. Wenn ein Tier bei mir ist, lasse ich es erstmal ruhig ankommen und bedränge es nicht. Durch meine eigene Katze weiß ich, dass Tiere manchmal Zeit brauchen. Ich achte auf eine sichere Umgebung, Futter, Wasser und genug Ruhe. Bei Betreuung im Zuhause halte ich mich genau an die Absprachen und gehe respektvoll mit allem um.

Über: Seit mittlerweile zehn Jahren bin ich mit Hunden unterwegs und vermisse seit meinem Auszug den Kontakt zu Hunden. Meine Eltern haben seit einem Jahr einen neuen Hund um den ich mich ebenfalls bei den heimatlichen Besuchen kümmere. Bereits davor habe ich mich regelmäßig um den Hund meiner Nachbarn gekümmert, bis dieser im hohen Alter verstorben ist. Desweiteren kümmere ich mich abernzu um die Katzen einer Bekannten sowie um ihren kleinen und sehr lebhaften Hund. Da ich in Heidelberg Studiere und großer Tierfreund bin, Suche ich ach einer sinnvollen Beschäftigungsmöglichkeit. Unter der Woche bin ich meist flexibel und innerhlab von Heidelberg mobil Derzeit ist es nicht möglich das Tier bei mir zuhause zu versorgen, da ich in einem Studentenwohnheim lebe. Bei dir zuhause wird es Möglichkeiten geben den Hund physisch und psychisch zu beschäftigen:)
