Do you have liability insurance?

I am looking at getting liability insurance. My insurance company said I need to set up an LLC. I really did not want to do that. If you have purchased liability insurance and could provide info I would appreciate it. Looking for a company too. I reached out to Lloyds of London which was recommended but have still not heard back. Thank you!

As a dog sitter on Rover, it's essential to have liability insurance to protect yourself and your business from potential risks. Liability insurance can provide coverage for accidents or injuries that may occur while caring for someone else's dog.

Regarding your question about setting up an LLC, it's important to note that legal requirements for insurance and business structure can vary by location. While some insurance companies may require you to set up an LLC (Limited Liability Company) to obtain liability insurance, it's best to consult with a legal or financial professional in your area to understand the specific requirements and implications of setting up an LLC for your dog sitting business.

When looking for liability insurance for your dog sitting business, it's a good idea to obtain quotes from multiple insurance companies to compare coverage options and costs.

When obtaining liability insurance, make sure to carefully review the coverage details, including the types of incidents that are covered, policy limits, deductibles, and any exclusions. It's also important to disclose accurate information about your business and its operations to the insurance company to ensure that you are adequately covered.

In conclusion, liability insurance is an important aspect of running a dog sitting business on Rover, and it's crucial to understand the requirements and options available to you. Consulting with legal or financial professionals and obtaining quotes from multiple insurance companies can help you make an informed decision and find the right liability insurance coverage for your needs.
