How do I go about multiple bookings from separate owners?

hi! i currently have one reoccurring booking for doggy day care monday-friday every week, but just received a request for a one-time boarding request for the monday-friday of two weeks from now.

the owner of my reoccurring daycare dog has said that he is friendly towards other dogs and the profile of the new dog says he is also friendly with other dogs, but i’m wondering what the general process is for asking if both owners are okay with multiple dogs, how to make sure the two dogs would be compatible, if M&G’s for the two dogs is a good idea, or any advice etc. thanks!

Since the daycare dog is with you every weekday, it would be easy to have a M&G with the potential boarder. I do this whenever I have have requests that might overlap or for the holidays, when I take more than one dog. Let each owner know. You could also ask the owner of the boarding dog to let the dog stay for a morning or afternoon to get a better idea of how the dogs get along.

But be sure you have the capability to keep the dogs separate because sometimes things change during a stay. I only take small dogs, so it is easy to baby gate an area to keep them apart.
