Rover Sitter in Pennsylvania anyone else have issues?

Hi fellow sitters: as an FYI Pennsylvania requires anyone who sits through Rover to obtain BK1 kennel license. our neighbor reported us to the PA dog warden, who very nicely walked us through the process. Just as a warning, if you have a vindictive neighbor, this could happen to you as well. Additionally in Pittsburgh you also need a home occupancy permit to have a business and zoning approval. Good Luck and I hope none of you are forced to go through what we are.

When you signed on as a sitter you agreed to comply with all local laws by accepting the Rover terms of service. The reality is most Rover sitters never check their local laws and therefore are operating illegally and if caught could have to close their business. Rover makes it too easy to just signup and this key piece of running a business is minimalized.
