When I signed up with Rover, there were two FAQ pages linked from the home page: one for sitters and another for pet parents. In the sitter FAQ, the fees are clearly spelled out, as well as other useful info and procedures a Rover sitter should know about how the service functions. You now have to go to the Help Center to find those FAQ pages. Here is the link to the one for sitters:

Rover fees are 15% of your rates. So if you charge $25/night, Rover will get 3.75 per night, and you will get the remaining 21.25.

You're not alone - It sure would be nice if it were disclosed and easily discovered somewhere on the signup. I'm not opposed to the 15%, but nearly bailed as not finding "the deal" easily when signing up to be a sitter gives a real "shifty" feel. I searched help - no discussion of booking fees. I searched the site - no discussion of booking fees. It took signing up, then reading through the community posts to find the answer. That does not give me a good feeling of a partnership of site and sitter working together...

Hi Ken. We appreciate this feedback. Here is some additional information about our fee: https://support.rover.com/hc/en-us/articles/203062400

I agree, Ken. This information is not readily available to sitters upon signing up!

This should be on your dashboard, too. Click on the blue "View Payments & Promo Codes", and you will see the fee in 5th column at the end, next to your total payment. Hope this helps!
