If a customer does not rate you after a stay, do you still rise in search results?

asked 2014-12-15 12:05:15 -0500

A customer claimed to love my service and will return but he did not give me a rating. Will this effect me when customers search for sitters?

The answer above and the article below I don't feel were exactly "clear answers" for this question.
But If I understand correctly though... Yes your rating would still improve as long as response time was quick for this request and booked stay and that you also kept the client updated with pictures and such through the site during their stay. I do agree that sending a quick message after a few days is a great idea for any client that "forgot" to leave feedback and rate you

On a couple instances I've sent a message to a client a few days after a stay thanking them again for their business and asking them to consider leaving me feedback on Rover. So far that has worked every time. If it's been long enough since the stay to make that seem uncomfortable, you can always try it after his next stay if he books through you again.

Hi Victoria,

While this post won't precisely answer your question, here is some additional information about Rover search results: https://support.rover.com/hc/en-us/ar...

You can always feel free to contact the Rover customer experience team if you have any questions.
