What to do about abnormally long daycare hours?

So, I have a repeat customer. She is my regular. I have been getting frustrated with said regular because while she books for daycare, she leaves her dog with me 14 hours a day. Yes, fourteen hours.

To start, she drops off her dog somewhere around 7am. But whatever time she states, she is usually running 30/45 minutes late.

Then, picking up, she always says she will leave 7-7:30pm...never happens. She always ends up leaving at 8-8:30pm and gets to me past 9pm.

Daycare is supposed to be 9 hours, correct? Back when we made an agreement she made it like it’d be a 7-7 day. So I charged extra for 12 hours. Now she is pushing 14 hours and beyond. She literally takes up my entire day, two days of the week. And suddenly, she is asking me to pick up Mon-Fri.

I like her and the dog but this is a little ridiculous. I feel like she is careless about my time between being late and stretching the truth of hours. Should I tack on another fee? I’m charging $35 for 14 hours. I get $28 after fees. It’s crazy. And! when the dog is here, I can’t step outside of my apartment without him, due to anxiety, he barks, and I live in a Manhattan apartment building.

I don’t know what to do at this point. What would you do?
