I have posted on Facebook and Craigslist. How do I get more clients?

I have been on Rover for about a month now and I have only gotten 1 inquiry and I accepted. I got another one for April and I responded immediately but they have not replied to me. I need a steady flow of clients so I can get rebookings but I am not getting that may inquiries. I have posted to Facebook and Craigslist but still nothing. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Getting clients is a struggle for many new sitters, best thing you can do is to make your profile shine. Also look at your boarding preferences as it show you only accept dogs 101Lbs plus. Ask a few more friends or family to write a testimonial as having them is key to acquiring new clients. If you can post tearoff flyers on local bulletin boards, join local Facebook Groups, join Nextdoor. Go to dog parks, and have some business cads available

I have been on the Rover platform for about a month, and have has only about 4 bookings so far. I’ve had several people send me messages, inquiring about my service, but I never hear back from them again. I’m not sure why that is, but oh, well. I created an Instagram account for my Rover business, and I post one picture or video almost daily that highlights what makes me an awesome dog sitter. One example is this: As compared to other dog boarding services, dogs in my care are allowed on the furniture, and on my bed rather than being confined to a crate or a kennel. I only take small dogs so this works for me, and it’s something I think potential clients appreciate. I make sure to mention the link to my Rover profile, and use hashtags that a relevant. It’s been a slow go for me so far, as well, but I am hopeful that it will pick up soon. Best of luck to you, I hope this helps.
