Multiple dog rates - 3 dogs - are first and third full price and only second is the additional dog price?

I just had a client book 3 dogs for a Drop In I have my settings at $15, and $5 additional dog. The client was charged $15 for the first, $5 for the 2nd and $15 for the third.

Is this correct? Support says it is. I find this strange - I'm not driving somewhere else and doing a whole other Drop In. My fees say $5. What about the 4th or 5th dog?

I just called support back. The first person gave me bad information - and she was SO sure of herself - I even with me saying it does NOT make sense. When I called back I spoke with a supervisor and she said ALL additional dogs are charged the Additional Dog Fee. I manually corrected the fee

That's pretty pathetic that support can't even give you the correct answer, but I am not surprised. I have been going back and forth via with someone there who clearly can't read and is cutting and pasting boilerplate garbage.

If your base rate is $15 for the first dog and $5 for each additional dog, I would think that it would be $25 total for three dogs.

It frequently happens to me that the charge in a request is higher than what it should be, similar to your example. I adjust it manually.

Strange....I've never had it happen. I even asked someone in support so I wasn't ripping off the client and she said that the third dog is correct at $20 - it is only priced for ONE additional dog at $5. She said the third is priced as the first. I'm going to reach out to support again.

I just looked at your profile and you are charging $20 for a DI, $5 extra dog. Based on that the client they should have been charged $30. Looking at your rates, is it possible they booked a walk during holiday dates? Your holiday rate for walks is $25, with additional dogs that would bring it to $35.

Oooops I forgot I raised my rates for winter - boy is today a day it's well earned (it's -6 here!!!). Not during holiday....First dog is $20, second $5, and third $20. Whopping $45 for each visit for the 3 dogs.
