Should you follow up with a client?

Hello!

I had a dog in doggy day care. It went very well. A few ups and downs with a small puppy but it went well. They told me they would need me right away but it it has been a week since I have heard from them. Should I drop them a note and thank them again and ask how their dog is doing and that I am here for them again? Or, should I just leave it as it.

Hello, it's always a good practice to follow up with clients and let them know if they were satisfied with the service that you provided. Remember that your learning and don't get upset when your informed of negative feedback but learn constructive criticism. It makes a difference.

Good business practise. Opportunity to get helpful feedback and remind them to leave review. Shows you care about their dog and good way to get repeat clients.

I would reach out to them at least one more time and possibly suggest "my calendar is starting to fill up and I'm wondering if you will need me to care for poochie in the next week or two" Better to try and get closure or a new booking than to sit there and wonder. Best of luck
