3 dogs listed as 1?

Has anyone had a request from a profile naming 3 dogs but they are listed as 1 dog? I wasn't sure how to sensitively respond that their profile was set up incorrectly without sounding rude. I had to decline anyway as I can only host 1 at a time, but just curious if anyone had any thoughts.

I think the easiest way to gently remind owners of this is to say that Rover's insurance will only cover the pets listed on the booking request, so in order to make sure all of her pets are covered she'd need to create a profile for each pet. Then that will automatically generate the rate for all pets and also restrict her search to sitters that only take 1 dog at a time.

That would be a good segue for you! Say you only take 1 pet but probably showed up in her profile because she has all 3 dogs listed as 1 and suggest that she list each dog on their own so she only sees results for sitters that can take that many.

That's a great idea! I actually just ended up saying that I can only board one dog at a time and wished her luck in her search. Oh well!

Yes, a potential new client contacted me through rover and had 1 dog listed but told me about the 2nd dog in the email. I was very interested in the m&g but told her to contact rover support to assist in adding the other pup. I told her it was important to know details on each. She said she didn't know how to add when she set up the account and contacted support for assistance.
