About: I have always loved animals and I hold such a soft spot in my heart for them. Growing up I had a dog, cat and bird as pets who I loved deeply until they passed away; I was their main caretaker. Now, in my adulthood I have moved around a lot and never had the stability to offer to get a pet of my own, but I as I settle more into Nova Scotia I would love to get one soon. For now, I am able to offer my time and love in any way I can and would be so excited to offer my companionship and caretaking skills through Rover. I work from home and am able to offer the time and love needed to really care for any animal. I work from home, 9-5 and have the flexibility to offer love and companionship throughout the day. I am already taking long walks mid day and after work and would be more than happy to take a pet along with me. I am new to the area and have lots of free time to visit pets at home, walk them, care for them, etc. My home has a backyard and walkway down to a quiet beach area. Backyard isn’t fenced. I also frequently visit great parks such as Ellenwood park and can take animals there with me for walks.

Carolina is very bright, thoughtful, compassionate, loves animals and is knowledgeable in so many aspects of pets, respectful...I could go on and on. She is amazing! Carolina was always planning where to walk the puppy; where he would have the most fun. I was far away from home and she kept me updated. Carolina sent me videos ,pictures and a bit of about the day on a daily basis. I had an excruciatingly unpleasant experience with a sitter from Rover previously, but Carolina restored my faith in honest, salt of the earth type of person. Carolina actually looks after animals because she loves them , understands them and cares about them. Carolina walks the talk! The fur babies love her (and her husband). I feel extremely blessed she came into our lives (and we into hers) If there was a sitter of the year award, Carolina would own it! We are tentatively scheduled to go away in June again. I've already asked Carolina to pencil me in (until I get the holiday confirmed:)!”
