About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for years, and caring for them is something I genuinely love! 🐶 From energetic puppies who want to play all day to senior pups who prefer a quiet cuddle, I’m comfortable adapting to whatever makes your dog happiest. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, I also have hands-on experience caring for pets with different medical and special care needs. Your pup will get plenty of attention, patience, exercise, and of course, lots of love while they’re with me! 🐾❤️ I work full-time during the week, but I’m able to visit pets during my lunch break and provide overnight care after work. Weekends are much more flexible, and I’m usually available for daytime visits as well as overnight stays. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and love while you’re away! 🤍 As a Registered Veterinary Technician, your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. About: I have had dogs of various breeds my entire life. I currently have three terriers and a german shepherd. I was trained by the Ontario Dog Trainer and taught there for 3 years. I've spent the last four years managing a doggy day care/ boarding facility in Windsor. I'm currently on a job hunt so my schedule is currently very open. Once I get a job my availability might drop but I will keep clients informed. I have a fully fenced in back yard and my own dogs to keep them company (all used to attending a daycare) and my dogs are all vaccinated. I have a kiddie pool in the yard to help keep dogs hydrated and cool. I go outside with the dogs so that they aren't alone.

I currently have a very gentle mama: my 5-year-old, 59-lb Black + Tan Coonhound named Hunny. She loves van rides, camping, kayaking, beaches, conservation areas, trails + neighbourhood walks with me. There is no furry friend or human she meets who doesn’t love her and vice versa. I raised two Rhodesian Ridgebacks from puppies. Major lived to 11½ + LOVED flyball, so I still love playing fetch with dogs who enjoy retrieving. Maggie lived to 13 + ran beside me when running was my passion. Nowadays, I prefer to slow down. I love walking through neighbourhoods with big shade trees rustling, admiring flowerbeds with monarchs + bumblebees, listening to the birds singing songs ( especially Cardinals). Giving dogs sniffing time is so important for their mental well-being, just like us! After my two Ridgebacks, I fell in love with RESCUING Coonhounds. Beau Beauregard, Zellie Zoo Zoo + Belvey Belvedere have all crossed the beautiful Rainbow Bridge to be with my son, Mark—Forever 16; 2017. 🌈 Every one of these losses has taught me more lessons about love, patience + giving of SELF through the privilege of caring for another living being. As an RN of over 30 years, mum to my children and pets, I do not take special needs lightly. I am calm, patient, observant + affectionate, and I am very comfortable following detailed routines, medication instructions, including oral medications + giving injections. I know how important routine toileting is + attentive personal care. If a pet wears briefs, I am a bit obsessed about keeping them clean, dry + comfortable while protecting their dignity because of my years of caring for our sweet boy Belvey Belvedere. I can handle doggies who need an increase in FREQUENCY of visits (like every 2 hours) for more frequent attention, potty opportunities + brief changes. My nursing experience has also taught me to pay attention to changes in behaviour, appetite, special diets, mobility + overall well-being. Before long, I develop a deep bond with my furry friends—and I miss them when our time together ends. If you need me to stay in your home, I am more than happy to watch over your pets, home, mail, garbage/recycling, indoor plants, lawn + gardens. (Let me hear about any other agreed-upon household needs want to have done). I love playing in gardens, + I am also great at helping make a garden vision come to life. I love creating a surprise for someone to come home to. It is one of my love languages! Nothing makes my heart smile more than hearing that the result surpassed what someone had envisioned. 🌻 I have also recently discovered how much joy I get from organizing! Yes! I love to be distracted by organizing basements & closets + kitchens. It actually makes me feel needed. I know how busy + stressful life is + things just pile up. “Kaylee was a great help to us while we were gone for 3 weeks on a trip abroad. We had her come by in the mornings to take care of our dog Robin who is a shy 60 pounds German Shepherd mix. She sent me daily updates and photos and even went so far as cleaning our cat litter and bathing Robin (no easy feat) without being asked to! When I returned home everything was clean and in order and the pets were happy and taken care of. I was really satisfied with her services!”

About: I am a total animal lover and will give your dog the best care I can provide! I am a university student who is home most of the day for most of the week and would love a chance to take a study break and get up and walk or play with your dog! I have pet sit for large, medium, and small dogs as well as cats and kittens and always love every minute of it. I've got a fairly large fenced in yard where your dog can enjoy the outside and run around and play, I think animals are the best way to add a little joy in your life and I would love the chance to give some love to as many animals as I can.

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life and have helped family and friends care for their dogs many times. I have a large dog that is at my house half of the time, it is possible for me to watch your pet without another dog in the house if necessary. I work from home most of the time and have a very flexible schedule so I am available to play with and walk your pet often. I have a fenced yard and a large breed dog with me half of the time. It is possible for me to care for your pet without alone if necessary.

“Victoria is an actual hero. Our cat has diabetes and we recently were given new instructions/insulin dosage from our vet, which we passed onto Victoria. She followed every instruction to the tee and sent us pictures and updates of Louis, on time. One night, Louis became hypoglycaemic (this was because of the instructions we were given by our vet, NOT because of Victoria's care). Because of her experience, Victoria knew exactly what to do. She called us to let us know what was happening, put honey on Louis' gums, and took him to the ER. The doctors at the ER said that if VIctoria hadn't known to put honey on Louis' gums, he would not have survived. Victoria saved our cat's life. We will forever be grateful to her. Of course, we feel awful that she was put in that position...but we believe if anyone else was in her position, Louis would not be alive today. We are continually updating Victoria on Louis' recovery, as she genuinely cares for his well being. She is a wonderful, caring spirit with the most important skills for exceptional care of a pet. 100% recommend. THANK YOU VICTORIA.”

About: I have a literal lifetime of experience with dogs. From the moment I was born to now, I've never gone more than a few months without at least one dog in my life. Most have been rescues, so I know how to deal with shy or sensitive dogs. I've even had experience taking care of dogs with special needs and handicaps, as well as seniors. Without any major obligations at the moment, I'm free to focus on taking care of your pet to the best of my ability. I'm already the primary caregiver for my own two dogs, so it's something I'm going to be doing anyway. I take the safety of animals extremely seriously. I will always seek to learn about a prospective client's specific needs and limitations. I am very protective of my own dogs- possibly to the point of excess in some cases- and you can be sure that I will extend that to any dogs in my care, regardless of duration.

Melissa answered my inquiry quickly and answered my questions and arranged to come meet Bruce & Giggs before I left. Upon meeting her, she was lovely and made me feel more comfortable in leaving my guys in her hands. She was very accommodating and kept me up to date when she would pop in. The pictures were nice to see in her updates.
