About: I have a literal lifetime of experience with dogs. From the moment I was born to now, I've never gone more than a few months without at least one dog in my life. Most have been rescues, so I know how to deal with shy or sensitive dogs. I've even had experience taking care of dogs with special needs and handicaps, as well as seniors. Without any major obligations at the moment, I'm free to focus on taking care of your pet to the best of my ability. I'm already the primary caregiver for my own two dogs, so it's something I'm going to be doing anyway. I take the safety of animals extremely seriously. I will always seek to learn about a prospective client's specific needs and limitations. I am very protective of my own dogs- possibly to the point of excess in some cases- and you can be sure that I will extend that to any dogs in my care, regardless of duration.

About: My family has always had some pet in our house over the last 10 years. I love animals and have a calm lab of my own! I currently work from home, so I have tons of time to spare. I take my dog on daily walks and also tons of free play in the backyard. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly energetic 5 year old pup to keep your pet company. I am also able to take care of senior dogs, giving medication and various diets.

She was very punctual for the drop in visit and took excellent care of Kuro while we were gone. “Kaylee was a great help to us while we were gone for 3 weeks on a trip abroad. We had her come by in the mornings to take care of our dog Robin who is a shy 60 pounds German Shepherd mix. She sent me daily updates and photos and even went so far as cleaning our cat litter and bathing Robin (no easy feat) without being asked to! I am a university student who is home most of the day for most of the week and would love a chance to take a study break and get up and walk or play with your dog! I have pet sit for large, medium, and small dogs as well as cats and kittens and always love every minute of it. Giving dogs sniffing time is so important for their mental well-being, just like us! After my two Ridgebacks, I fell in love with RESCUING Coonhounds. Beau Beauregard, Zellie Zoo Zoo + Belvey Belvedere have all crossed the beautiful Rainbow Bridge to be with my son, Mark—Forever 16; 2017. 🌈 Every one of these losses has taught me more lessons about love, patience + giving of SELF through the privilege of caring for another living being. As an RN of over 30 years, mum to my children and pets, I do not take special needs lightly. I am calm, patient, observant + affectionate, and I am very comfortable following detailed routines, medication instructions, including oral medications + giving injections. I know how important routine toileting is + attentive personal care. If a pet wears briefs, I am a bit obsessed about keeping them clean, dry + comfortable while protecting their dignity because of my years of caring for our sweet boy Belvey Belvedere. I can handle doggies who need an increase in FREQUENCY of visits (like every 2 hours) for more frequent attention, potty opportunities + brief changes. My nursing experience has also taught me to pay attention to changes in behaviour, appetite, special diets, mobility + overall well-being. Before long, I develop a deep bond with my furry friends—and I miss them when our time together ends. If you need me to stay in your home, I am more than happy to watch over your pets, home, mail, garbage/recycling, indoor plants, lawn + gardens. “Victoria is an actual hero. Our cat has diabetes and we recently were given new instructions/insulin dosage from our vet, which we passed onto Victoria. She followed every instruction to the tee and sent us pictures and updates of Louis, on time. One night, Louis became hypoglycaemic (this was because of the instructions we were given by our vet, NOT because of Victoria's care). Because of her experience, Victoria knew exactly what to do. She called us to let us know what was happening, put honey on Louis' gums, and took him to the ER. The doctors at the ER said that if VIctoria hadn't known to put honey on Louis' gums, he would not have survived. Victoria saved our cat's life. We will forever be grateful to her. Of course, we feel awful that she was put in that position...but we believe if anyone else was in her position, Louis would not be alive today. We are continually updating Victoria on Louis' recovery, as she genuinely cares for his well being. She is a wonderful, caring spirit with the most important skills for exceptional care of a pet. 100% recommend. THANK YOU VICTORIA.”
