About: I have had dogs of various breeds my entire life. I currently have three terriers and a german shepherd. I was trained by the Ontario Dog Trainer and taught there for 3 years. I've spent the last four years managing a doggy day care/ boarding facility in Windsor. I'm currently on a job hunt so my schedule is currently very open. Once I get a job my availability might drop but I will keep clients informed. I have a fully fenced in back yard and my own dogs to keep them company (all used to attending a daycare) and my dogs are all vaccinated. I have a kiddie pool in the yard to help keep dogs hydrated and cool. I go outside with the dogs so that they aren't alone.

I had heard that ROVER is being recommended within the pet-care community and veterinarians. Then I heard from my dear friend, Jacquie in St. Catherine's who started her platform on ROVER + is happily busy. I value the service fees I am sharing with ROVER because they support the platform that connects us, provide ease of booking + payment tools, + Rover offers protections + safeguards for pet parents, pets + sitters alike. After devoting so much of my life to my 30- yr nursing career, my marriage + raising my children, I am finally learning how important it is to follow MY own dreams, hobbies + passions too. Self-care, time in nature + new adventures have become especially meaningful during this stage of empty-nesting. And so begins my new adventure! Who knew my heart needed this? My soul knew. I just needed to listen. 🐾 MY LIFE WITH ANIMALS I have over 30 years of experience caring for dogs + cats and have always enjoyed sharing my life with animals of different breeds, sizes, ages + unique personalities. I currently have a very gentle mama: my 5-year-old, 59-lb Black + Tan Coonhound named Hunny. She loves going on my walks with all the dogs I meet. I always make sure to do a meet and greet first to make sure everyone knows each other! Hunny loves going for sniff walks, van rides, camping, kayaking, beaches, conservation areas, trails + neighbourhood walks with other dogs. There is no furry friend or human she meets who doesn’t love her and vice versa. I raised two Rhodesian Ridgebacks from puppies. Major lived to 11½ + LOVED flyball, so I still love playing fetch with dogs who enjoy retrieving. Maggie lived to 13 + ran beside me when running was my passion. Nowadays, I love walking through neighbourhoods with big shade trees rustling, admiring flowerbeds with monarchs + bumblebees, listening to the birds singing songs ( especially Cardinals). Giving dogs sniffing time is so important for their mental well-being, just like us! After my two Ridgebacks, I fell in love with RESCUING Coonhounds. Beau Beauregard, Zellie Zoo Zoo + Belvey Belvedere have all crossed the beautiful Rainbow Bridge to be with my son, Mark—Forever 16; 2017. 🌈 Every one of these losses has taught me more lessons about love, patience + giving of SELF through the privilege of caring for another living being. As an RN of over 30 years, mum to my children and pets, I do not take special needs lightly. I am calm, patient, observant + very affectionate, and I am very comfortable following detailed routines, medication instructions, including oral medications + giving injections. I know how important routine toileting is + attentive personal care. I know how hard it is to be away from our fur babies. If a pet wears briefs, I am a bit obsessed about keeping them clean, dry + comfortable while protecting their dignity because of my years of caring for our sweet boy Belvey Belvedere. I can handle doggies who need an increase in FREQUENCY of visits (like every 2 hours) for more frequent attention, potty opportunities + brief changes. My nursing experience has also taught me to pay attention to changes in behaviour, appetite, special diets, mobility + overall well-being. Before long, I develop a deep bond with my furry friends—and I miss them when our time together ends. We look forward to meeting you soon! About: I am a total animal lover and will give your dog the best care I can provide! I am a university student who is home most of the day for most of the week and would love a chance to take a study break and get up and walk or play with your dog! I have pet sit for large, medium, and small dogs as well as cats and kittens and always love every minute of it. I've got a fairly large fenced in yard where your dog can enjoy the outside and run around and play, I think animals are the best way to add a little joy in your life and I would love the chance to give some love to as many animals as I can.

About: I have loved dogs forever. As a teenager, I dogsat for all my neighbours. From a bull mastiff to a Yorkshire terrier, I will walk, play, feed, and clean after your fur child. I currently work a 9-5 office job, with part-time work from home. No problems walking your dog while you make your family dinner. I am free anytime to dog sit. I am a hands on person, so your fur baby will never be alone outside. Ready, willing, and able to follow your dog’s preferred schedule!

About: I’ve taken care of my dog, nicely and well, and also I trained it. She became the smartest dog what neighbourhood's were seen. I have a job with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of free time. I enjoy spending time in nature and think it would be a perfect fit to go with dogs I have an animal-friendly home with a nice backyard, and I'm happy to walk dogs or care for them there. I am also willing to visit clients' homes.

About: I have always had pets growing up. I’ve had hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, and more! I love animals, no matter what kind. I love going to the zoo, but seeing them in their natural habitat is much better. Farms are awesome, I’m always looking to go to one to see the animals. I love animals all around, they make me happy! I may not have my own dog right now, but I had a dog twice, and have been around dogs ever since I was little. Family members always had dogs I was close with, like Gus, the St Bernard or my aunts Jack Russel/Beagle and Pugs. I don’t have many photos with these dogs, as they are not my own. However, I always played with them and gave them love whenever I was with them. I have worked with a pet photographer who knows what she’s doing, she’s very knowledgeable about animals. I have gained knowledge and experience through working with her and the various animals, so I can be trusted with your pets! I’m currently working two part time positions, volunteering around, and staying busy. I am a Police auxiliary member in my community. This would be a great chance to do something good in the community, especially when it’s doing something I love… working with animals! From working with a pet photographer who knows how to deal with animals well, I have learned a lot about animals and how to care about them. With this being said, I adhere to any rules and instructions given regarding your pet. I prioritize your pets protection and care about them. I want to give them the best experience possible while doing things properly.

About: I’ve taken care of many pets for my family and friends. Why not spread the care! I am very caring and reliable and I assure you I will take great care of your animals. I am currently a PSW and I do home care which makes my schedule very flexible. This will allow me to check in on your pet during the day and cater to their needs in mine or your home. My home is great for pets and they will have lots of room to play and relax. I do not have a fenced backyard but your fur baby will still gets lots of fresh air and walks on a leash! A park and track are near by with lots of exploring areas.

“Victoria is an actual hero. Our cat has diabetes and we recently were given new instructions/insulin dosage from our vet, which we passed onto Victoria. She followed every instruction to the tee and sent us pictures and updates of Louis, on time. One night, Louis became hypoglycaemic (this was because of the instructions we were given by our vet, NOT because of Victoria's care). Because of her experience, Victoria knew exactly what to do. She called us to let us know what was happening, put honey on Louis' gums, and took him to the ER. The doctors at the ER said that if VIctoria hadn't known to put honey on Louis' gums, he would not have survived. Victoria saved our cat's life. We will forever be grateful to her. Of course, we feel awful that she was put in that position...but we believe if anyone else was in her position, Louis would not be alive today. We are continually updating Victoria on Louis' recovery, as she genuinely cares for his well being. She is a wonderful, caring spirit with the most important skills for exceptional care of a pet. 100% recommend. THANK YOU VICTORIA.”
