About: Hi! My name is Claire, and Iâve been caring for animals for many years. I am the primary caregiver for my two mini cockapoos, Izzie and Piper, whom Iâve raised since 2017. Iâve been responsible for their potty training, behavioural training, daily exercise, feeding schedules, enrichment, grooming routines, and veterinary care. I also have experience helping rescue and rehome cats, including two cats prior to adopting my current rescue cat, Peep, from a shelter in April. Caring for both dogs and cats has given me experience with many different personalities, temperaments, and comfort levels, including shy or anxious pets adjusting to new environments. I genuinely enjoy caring for animals and understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, patient, and attentive to care for your pets as if they were family. My schedule is currently very flexible, which allows me to dedicate a lot of time and attention to the pets in my care. I am available throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and boarding for compatible pets. Because I have a flexible schedule, pets in my care are not left alone for long periods and can receive frequent supervision, bathroom breaks, exercise, affection, and attention throughout the day. Safety and comfort are extremely important to me. In my home, pets are treated like family and are always supervised carefully. I have two friendly, well-socialized dogs who enjoy meeting new friends. While my yard is not traditionally fenced, my dogs are safely trained with a secure invisible fence system and are always supervised outdoors. I also believe regular leash walks are important for dogsâ wellbeing and enrichment. My home can be separated into different areas if needed to help pets feel comfortable and safe depending on their personalities and how they interact with other animals. For larger dogs, cats, or pets who are most comfortable in their own environment, I am also happy to provide care in the clientâs home.

âKaylee was a great help to us while we were gone for 3 weeks on a trip abroad. We had her come by in the mornings to take care of our dog Robin who is a shy 60 pounds German Shepherd mix. She sent me daily updates and photos and even went so far as cleaning our cat litter and bathing Robin (no easy feat) without being asked to! When I returned home everything was clean and in order and the pets were happy and taken care of. I was really satisfied with her services!â

âmy husband and I are overjoyed that we found Laura! We could tell from the pictures and video that she sent us through the course of the night that he had a blast with her. Thanks so much Laura! Your quick responses and updates put my mind at ease during Bentley's first time away from us. We look forward to many more visits!â

âMaddy was willing to accommodate our schedule and reassured us every day with new pictures of our pet. Looks like our Hera was having fun and interacting while we were gone which is super important.â

About: Besides growing up with our family's beloved pets, I've also had the pleasure of working at two veterinary clinics, and have pet sat for multiple friends. I am grateful for having been surrounded by all kinds of different animals for as long as I can remember. I'm comfortable handling pets with special needs (e.g. administering medications, anxious pets, pets with health issues or visual/hearing impairments, etc.) I am happy to look after all species đ I'm currently on summer break so I can give your furry family member my full attention at any given time. I will pause whatever I'm doing should something arise and need my immediate attention. I'm happy to follow any and all instructions you leave and provide as many updates with pictures/videos as you would like :) so you can feel at ease knowing they're well taken care of
âMelissa was amazing! I had my usual person who checks in on my cats when Iâm away cancel last minute. I discovered Rover and nervously gave it a shot. Melissa answered my inquiry quickly and answered my questions and arranged to come meet Bruce & Giggs before I left. Upon meeting her, she was lovely and made me feel more comfortable in leaving my guys in her hands. She was very accommodating and kept me up to date when she would pop in. The pictures were nice to see in her updates. Especially the one where she won Bruce over and he snuggled with her đ I trust an animalâs instincts about a person every time đ I would definitely use her services again.â

About: I grew up on a farm and raised every type of animal you can imagine Ole MacDonald had! That included various sizes and breeds of cats and dogs as well. Often I would take one of the larger farm animals, train it and then leash it so I could walk it around the farm as though it was a puppy I was training! In terms of what I can offer to you as a sitter and what I believe sets me apart is my genuine curiosity about what makes your pet tick and what their emotions are. I care about their big picture. It's not just about going to your house and then feeding/watering/walking. It's about time spent with your pet so I can let you know that all seems well with them, in their time of missing you. I do short notice and can easily do last minute house checks or pet visits without much notice as well. I hope to be adding occasional doggy daycare as well and that too, can include short notice. I am trustworthy and you can count on me to be your righthand, if something needs your attention or calls you out of town. My main work focus is pet care so there is often availability. I've finished up my main career and now, am semi-retired and lucky enough to get to do what I love and that is pets and adventures. So don't hesitate if you need help quickly. I'm there for it. The best compliment I have ever received upon the arrival home of a repeat client was when she said, "The best part about entrusting our pets with you (6 cats and a large dog) is that when we walk through the door (I am gone by then as per their wishes) no one comes running to the door to see if it's us, because with you here, they didn't even know we were missing." I will admit, that felt great because if it were my pet, I would constantly fear that they were pining away for me and frankly, that thought would detract from my vacation. With petsitting in your home or even drop-in visits, your directive is key. I will follow your instructions to a T so that you don't have to worry and so your pets have the least amount of stress, in your absence, as possible. I will ask for written instructions so there is no confusion. I will be as communicative as you desire. That could mean a pic and a note every day or no communication period. Whatever works best for you. If house-sitting, rest assured you can have full trust in my ability not only to maintain your house and pets but also to manage any issues/emergencies you may have. I've often babysat sump pumps and waatched temperatures for freezing conditions so as to switch thermostats from heat pump to furnace. Any little tidbit I can help with, I'm there.
