âVery thankful to have someone who understands the bully breed so well take care of my older bulldog. Understanding the mentality of a bulldog is really important to be able to take care of my big guy because he really is his breed through and through. Stubborn but sweet. Loved the picture updates and look forward to hiring Erika again.â

About: I grew up surrounded by animals, so caring for them has always been natural to me. In Canada, Iâve provided in-home boarding, overnight stays at clientsâ homes, and drop-in visits for feeding and walks. Iâm attentive, responsible, and truly enjoy spending quality time with pets, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I am based in Leamington. For overnight stays, location within nearby areas (Windsor, Kingsville, Chatham, etc.) is not a problem â I can pick up and drop off your dog, or youâre welcome to bring them to me. My availability is primarily focused on overnight care. On weekdays, I am out from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. However, I work just 2 minutes from home and can stop by during the day for two breaks â one 1-hour visit and one 30-minute visit. Some clients provide a camera for monitoring, which Iâm happy to install so I can keep an eye on your pet while at work. If I notice anything unusual, I can quickly go home to check without any issue. On weekends, I am usually home. I may step out briefly for groceries or a workout (typically no more than 2 hours at a time). For non-overnight services (feeding and walks), availability depends on location and number of visits needed. ⢠In Leamington or within 20 minutes, I can visit twice daily (morning and evening). ⢠For locations 45â50 minutes away (Windsor, Chatham, etc.), weekday visits are available after 5:30 PM, and weekends allow for more flexibility and multiple visits. I live in a small, cozy apartment, which creates a calm and intimate environment where dogs can feel safe and comfortable. Because I live alone, your pet receives my full attention and care. As long as they are clean and well-groomed, theyâre welcome to join me on the couch â and even sleep in the bed if thatâs part of their usual routine. I always prioritize maintaining their normal habits to help them feel secure and at home.
âmy husband and I are overjoyed that we found Laura! We could tell from the pictures and video that she sent us through the course of the night that he had a blast with her. Thanks so much Laura! Your quick responses and updates put my mind at ease during Bentley's first time away from us. We look forward to many more visits!â

âKaylee was a great help to us while we were gone for 3 weeks on a trip abroad. We had her come by in the mornings to take care of our dog Robin who is a shy 60 pounds German Shepherd mix. She sent me daily updates and photos and even went so far as cleaning our cat litter and bathing Robin (no easy feat) without being asked to! When I returned home everything was clean and in order and the pets were happy and taken care of. I was really satisfied with her services!â

âMaddy was willing to accommodate our schedule and reassured us every day with new pictures of our pet. Looks like our Hera was having fun and interacting while we were gone which is super important.â

âMelissa was amazing! I had my usual person who checks in on my cats when Iâm away cancel last minute. I discovered Rover and nervously gave it a shot. Melissa answered my inquiry quickly and answered my questions and arranged to come meet Bruce & Giggs before I left. Upon meeting her, she was lovely and made me feel more comfortable in leaving my guys in her hands. She was very accommodating and kept me up to date when she would pop in. The pictures were nice to see in her updates. Especially the one where she won Bruce over and he snuggled with her đ I trust an animalâs instincts about a person every time đ I would definitely use her services again.â

About: I grew up on a farm and raised every type of animal you can imagine Ole MacDonald had! That included various sizes and breeds of cats and dogs as well. Often I would take one of the larger farm animals, train it and then leash it so I could walk it around the farm as though it was a puppy I was training! In terms of what I can offer to you as a sitter and what I believe sets me apart is my genuine curiosity about what makes your pet tick and what their emotions are. I care about their big picture. It's not just about going to your house and then feeding/watering/walking. It's about time spent with your pet so I can let you know that all seems well with them, in their time of missing you. I do short notice and can easily do last minute house checks or pet visits without much notice as well. I hope to be adding occasional doggy daycare as well and that too, can include short notice. I am trustworthy and you can count on me to be your righthand, if something needs your attention or calls you out of town. My main work focus is pet care so there is often availability. I've finished up my main career and now, am semi-retired and lucky enough to get to do what I love and that is pets and adventures. So don't hesitate if you need help quickly. I'm there for it. The best compliment I have ever received upon the arrival home of a repeat client was when she said, "The best part about entrusting our pets with you (6 cats and a large dog) is that when we walk through the door (I am gone by then as per their wishes) no one comes running to the door to see if it's us, because with you here, they didn't even know we were missing." I will admit, that felt great because if it were my pet, I would constantly fear that they were pining away for me and frankly, that thought would detract from my vacation. With petsitting in your home or even drop-in visits, your directive is key. I will follow your instructions to a T so that you don't have to worry and so your pets have the least amount of stress, in your absence, as possible. I will ask for written instructions so there is no confusion. I will be as communicative as you desire. That could mean a pic and a note every day or no communication period. Whatever works best for you. If house-sitting, rest assured you can have full trust in my ability not only to maintain your house and pets but also to manage any issues/emergencies you may have. I've often babysat sump pumps and waatched temperatures for freezing conditions so as to switch thermostats from heat pump to furnace. Any little tidbit I can help with, I'm there.
