Lyne sent us photos and videos and kept in contact throughout our trip, which was so reassuring and helped my Fiance and I truly relax and have fun while on our vacation. When returned home from our trip, the house was clean and tidy which was nice to come home to. “According to Bailey, our Maltese, Pat treated him with attention and affection like never before (except from us) while we were away on Christmas vacation: he frankly hated to see her leave. Pat responded to our enquiry promptly and met with us on two occasions to get all the details regarding staying in our home, including Bailey's culinary details and exercise and sleeping preferences. Upon our return we found everything as we had left it and a very happy Bailey eager to have us go on another vacation in order to have fun with Pat again. We highly recommend Pat as she saved the situation for us. Initially, we did some "interviews" with a local kennel but were rejected since all Bailey did during the "all day trial" was try to escape. On future trips, Pat will be the first person we'll contact for the job.”

About: Hi! I'm a full-time cat mom of two wonderful kitties, Iggy & Hans. Unfortunately they make the rules around here, so I'm not allowed dogs at my place. But I'm more than happy to watch your dog in your home :) I'm also more than happy to travel around the island / southern gulf islands, so please feel free to get in touch if you're interested! If you have cats or other pets I am also happy to look after them as well / as needed. I normally do my sits alone, but when I do local sits my partner typically joins me for a meal and some dog cuddles. For longer sits he may visit on his days off, but he does not work remote so often the sits will just be me. I grew up with 2 beautiful Newfoundlands and a Heinz variety. I'm a huge animal lover, and I have experience with young pups/senior dogs, and have experience providing medication to both dogs and cats. I work remotely, so I'm more than happy to work from your home for the duration of the sit. I love to walk, and have done sits for both active and low energy dogs. I'm prepared to walk 20K steps a day if that's what your dog likes, but I'm also more than happy to cuddle up on the couch for hours! Working from your home could mean before work, lunch time, and after work walks. I can let your dog out as needed, which is perfect for dogs who enjoy going in and out of the backyard! As a pet parent who loves to travel internationally (most recently in Cambodia), I think about my cats multiple times a day and I enjoy getting random photos throughout the day. I also understand how stressful and hard it can be to trust someone with your pet. Happy to provide as many updates as you'd like! Or, if you'd prefer, I can stick to sending an update every few days or reach out only should I have any questions or concerns. I've been known to send out a little video or photo diary at the end of the sit, because who doesn't like to see what their pet was up to:) I'm also happy to do some extra tasks like water plants/take out garabge or recycling, receive mail etc!

She was also really accommodating when it came to meeting us beforehand a couple of times (both to make sure she was comfortable and the dogs). About: I’ve taken care of dogs/cats since I was a kid, and have been the go to guy for looking after friends/family pets. I’m comfortable with puppies/kittens to senior dogs/cats. Your pet will have company all day long as I work from home!
