Cole is a sweet older dog who can be anxious, and we have started dealing with health issues for him. Melanie without hesitation dealt will his meds. Prior to booking Melanie, I read numerous reviews on Rover including Melanie’s. One or two great reviews is one thing but all her reviews were excellent, and I can now add another! She met with us at a meet and greet, and it was obvious immediately Cole was comfortable with her … as were we! He is a dog that is joined at the hip to me (we are retired so he is used to being with us 24/7). Melanie offered that care. We arrived home to a spotless house and a happy dog. Laundry was done and folded on the table - wow! When every review is excellent, you can rest assured your pet will be pampered by a responsible caregiver. Should the need arise again, we would turn to Melanie without hesitation.”

“I had Abigail watch my 65lb miniature Poodle & Bernese mix, in my home, for 6 days (during a heat wave in July). My fur child is 10 years old and quite particular with her diet, meal/snack time and frequency of leashed walks and backyard time. At our meet+greet, Abigail moved with confidence around my rambunctious dog which in turn calmed my dog down. I could tell she is an experienced and genuinely caring pet sitter. During my time away, Abigail kept me up to date on my dog’s wellbeing and was quick to respond to my messages. I came home to a happy, healthy dog and a clean house (just as I left it). We never worried a minute while we were away because she had everything in control and she sent us daily updates, photos and videos of our Charlie. About: I love all animals and practice a dedicated vegan lifestyle for the past 11 years. I have owned three dogs, one cat, four rabbits in my lifetime. Currently, in my home I have three caged free bunnies that don't mind sharing the home with another furry friend. I enjoy being outdoors and being active, so your pet will be well exercised if they like that. I work from home and can be with your pet all day. I also love cats and your cat will have sunny spots to lounge in the home. I will only board one animal at a time, so there will be no sharing of attention or spaces with other animals (except our bunnies). I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend soon! I work from home five days a week. If needed, I can crate your pup if I step out, or at bedtime if that's the routine they follow I have a fenced yard for dogs that love to play outdoors, and when they need to go potty. I will pick up their business when outdoors whether in the bush or on a trail walk. I have a multi-level home with stairs and if your pup doesn't like stairs I can carry them to the level I am on, so they always feel like they are part of the action. they will still be a part of the livelihood of my home. My home is well kept with no dangerous chemicals, and is a meat-free home as well (so no raw meat for dinner please).
