About: I’ve always loved dogs and grew up having them as part of my life. Five years ago, I welcomed my first family dog, and he has brought me so much joy! I’m an active person who loves spending time outdoors and taking multiple walks around my neighborhood every day. I genuinely enjoy caring for dogs and have loved watching friends’ and family members’ dogs over the years. I understand how important it is to feel confident that your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I would love the opportunity to welcome your dog into my home and give them plenty of love, attention, walks, and companionship! 🐾❤️ I work full-time from home, which allows me to be home with the dogs and provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, and walks throughout the day. My regular routine includes a walk around the noon hour, and I always head out for another walk in the evening. I love having a dog-friendly routine and would be happy to include your pup in my daily walks and activities! 🐾 We have a fully fenced-in backyard and even have a doggy door, so the pups can safely go in and out as they please. (We don’t use the doggy door during the winter.) We love giving dogs the freedom to enjoy the backyard while still having a safe, comfortable space to relax indoors. 🐾❤️
“Catalin was great for our Sheppard Fritz. He has a very big fenced yard where they played fetch. There are walking trails close by that Fritz was walked on and provided lots of updates and pictures. I would highly recommend. We will definitely take Fritz back next time we are in town. Also a very convenient spot close to the highway.”

“Raphael was an amazing dog sitter! He was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and accommodating from the very beginning. My dog felt instantly safe and comfortable with him, and had such a great time playing with his German Shepherd. Raphael sent daily updates along with lots of pictures, which gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was happy and well cared for. It was clear he treated my dog like one of his own. I will definitely be booking with Raphael again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!”

About: I absolutely adore animals and grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, parrots, iguanas, turtles, hamsters, fish, you name it. I have always been interested in researching and providing the best living environment to each animal I owned and enjoy seeing them flourish under my care. During the summer I am free anytime and day of the week. From September until June I am available after 4pm and on weekends after 6am. I have a huge fenced in park that is a two minutes walk away from my home where I often take my small Eskipoo to play after our structured long walks around our family friendly neighbourhood. I do not have children so your pet will be in the absolute best care and will get spoiled rotten. I will be very good at listening to how you want me to care for your animal as I know each owner is different and they know their pet best. With my dog, I give him lots of love and attention in the form of physical exercise, play, and lots of cuddles. I am here to ensure you feel safe and happy leaving your pet under my care as I know how precious and what a huge important part they play in our lives. My dog is very friendly and loves other animals, he is hypoallergenic and is allowed on the furniture. He is a medium-low energy dog and weighs about 15 pounds. My partner and I do not smoke and we do not have any other pets other than our Eskipoo. Feel free to message me with any questions or concerns and let me know if you enjoy getting updates on your pet while you are away! I will be more than happy to send you pictures for you to check in with your baby.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oromocto
Natalie and Ethan took great care of our Callie girl while we were away. We had a meeting ahead of time for Callie to meet Foog. Callie had a great time playing with Foog and receiving lots of snuggles and belly rubs from Natalie and Ethan. We received a daily update with pictures.

This was the first time I've ever left my fur baby in the care of a stranger. I have to admit, I was a little nervous to do so, but that nervousness was all for naught. Natalie was a phenomenal dog sitter for me. She continuously kept me up to date on how my Mickey was doing with pictures and videos on a daily basis. I'm sad that she will be leaving New Brunswick and moving to Ontario. I truly hope she keeps up her interest in pet sitting. She's kind, attentive to your pets needs and a great person. Thank you so very much Natalie. I wish you nothing but the best in your big move!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
