About: I have decades of cat and dog experience. Recently, our family dog crossed the rainbow bridge and I am hoping helping others' pets can help fill the void. I raised a dog from puppyhood, fostered a rescue, and have dogsat several family and friends' dogs. For now, I can offer evening, overnight and weekend pet care. My aim is to work from home full-time and so eventually I will be able to do more! All food, toys, walks, crating, etc. will be to your instructions. Safe playing is a great time to get to know each other. I am very much the "mom" when I have to be - dogs usually respond well to my queues, and I am available as a safe place for them. My place is an apartment above a couple shops downtown Elora. There are lots of green area or trails around the neighbourhood. There are three kids here 50% of the time (ages 10-15) who are experienced with pets. There are no other animals here.

About: Ive taken care of dogs and cats for over 30 years. Have done some pet sitting as well which included regular walks, play time , feeding and grooming and giving medication. They will be well takken care of in my care. I have a flexible schedule at the moment and am available during the day several days a week and every other weekend. Prefer animals to stay with me. I have 1 cat so your dog will need to be accustomed to cats. My cat has been around dogs. I live out in the country with hiking trails surrounding me so I will be walking the dog daily there.

When walking dogs, I always keep them safely leashed unless they are in a fully fenced and secure area approved by their owner. About: It can be so difficult to find somewhere you feel comfortable with to leave your pets. We treat your dogs as our own! We have two small Boston terriers who are both spayed and good with other dogs (aged 11 and 8). Lot's of affection, love, and care is given to our animals, and we have a country home with lot's of space and property for exercise and fetch! I work from home so am available to be home with your dog to be let out often. Feel free to reach out if you want to schedule a meet and greet! I currently work from home so am available to let dogs out frequently. We do travel from time to time but will list my availability accordingly. My dogs are not crated, however we are happy to use a crate if this is how your dog is trained. We do allow our pets on the furniture and to sleep in bed however again-whatever your pet is used to is what we will do. We do have a fence at the road of the property however this is not completely enclosed, so I would be putting the dog on a long rope or lead to be safe. I am out in the country with a large yard and bush, but do not leave the dogs unattended outside for any period of time-supervision always. We understand that every dog is taken care of differently and will follow whatever guidelines you are wanting for your pet.

“Ashley was incredibly accommodating with an out-of-the-norm pick-up times and with a last minute booking. Her property has plenty of space for the dogs to play and my dog loved spending time with her pups. She was very communicative and stayed in touch over the weekend. Only downside - my pup came home smelling quite strongly of cigarette smoke. Other than that, would book again!”
