“I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Absolutely nop notch and phenomenal. Updates and an absolute joy for us and the dogs (obviously). If you want the right people this is the spot. I would use again in a heartbeat, without question. Amazing.”

“Leah and Steven were great. My dog Ghost enjoyed his time playing with their dogs. They were quick to respond to our requests and took great care of my dog. Thanks again!”

“We were very fortunate to have Natalie look after our rambunctious 1 yr old Lab Beau for a week while we were on vacation. She was very patient with him as were her dogs Sawyer and Daphne. She kept us updated and assured us he was settling down - eventually ?. He returned home happy and tired - a sign of a great holiday!”

“Tucker had a wonderful vacation at Deborah's house while we were away. He seemed happy and busy and well exercised. I think he really liked having another dog in the house. It made our trip even better knowing Tuck was well taken care of. We will be back!”

“Carey was beyond great! She sent us pictures throughout the entire stay. It’s very clear that she loves animals! She was great with communication throughout the entire booking process and stay. 100% recommend booking with her!”

“As always we love leaving our girl with Margarida. She and her family are so sweet and always take such great care of our cat and send lots of pictures throughout the trip.”

“Kim is a great dog sitter who really cares about the dogs in her care. I received photos, videos and updates throughout they’re stay with her which allowed me to truly enjoy my time away for a family celebration of my granddaughter’s wedding”

“Sandra was absolutely wonderful with Margot! She took incredible care of her, including taking her on a great walk and perfectly handling her insulin routine. It gave us total peace of mind knowing Margot was in such responsible, caring hands. Highly recommend Sandra to anyone looking for a top-notch sitter!”

“Nikol is absolutely amazing! I know how much my dog 'Buddy' enjoyed his time at her home because he was so excited when we picked him up... but exhausted on the way home. I was told he ran around and played with her dog all day. I really appreciated the messages and photos from Nikol about what he got up to, it made me feel so comfortable leaving him for the day! Would definitely book her again and highly recommend her.”

About: Hello! I’ve been taking care of friends’ pets and houses since I was a teenager. I’ve also had two dogs of my own, volunteer at animal sanctuaries and a dog rescue. I’m an ultra animal lover; so far as to being vegan. I’m a home owner and have a large, fully fenced backyard for dogs to play in, and live on a beautiful quiet street, great for walks. I love to clean and organize spaces, so if I’m house sitting, and you’d like a little extra treat to come home to, I can add that service on! I have trained puppies and dogs to do fun tricks, and will take care of your pets as if they were my own. I’m a TV producer and between projects at the moment, so I’m looking for some extra work to offset my down time. Weekends are my most flexible days, but week nights and the odd weekday here and there are definitely options, too! I currently don’t have any dogs, but my upstairs tenants have two cats. My yard is fully fenced for dogs to romp around; it’s quite large and mostly lawn. My neighbourhood is also perfect for walks; which I love to go on with or without a doggo. Your pets will be like my own for the hours I’m with them. They’ll still miss you, but they won’t be without love while you’re away!
About: I have decades of cat and dog experience. Recently, our family dog crossed the rainbow bridge and I am hoping helping others' pets can help fill the void. I raised a dog from puppyhood, fostered a rescue, and have dogsat several family and friends' dogs. For now, I can offer evening, overnight and weekend pet care. My aim is to work from home full-time and so eventually I will be able to do more! All food, toys, walks, crating, etc. will be to your instructions. Safe playing is a great time to get to know each other. I am very much the "mom" when I have to be - dogs usually respond well to my queues, and I am available as a safe place for them. My place is an apartment above a couple shops downtown Elora. There are lots of green area or trails around the neighbourhood. There are three kids here 50% of the time (ages 10-15) who are experienced with pets. There are no other animals here.

About: Ive taken care of dogs and cats for over 30 years. Have done some pet sitting as well which included regular walks, play time , feeding and grooming and giving medication. They will be well takken care of in my care. I have a flexible schedule at the moment and am available during the day several days a week and every other weekend. Prefer animals to stay with me. I have 1 cat so your dog will need to be accustomed to cats. My cat has been around dogs. I live out in the country with hiking trails surrounding me so I will be walking the dog daily there.
About: I have 14+ years with pets of all kinds, most of my experience comes from having family pets growing up, pet sitting friends and other peoples pets (and kids), and my highschool job at PetSmart (3 years). I’ve dog sat for people before and frequently help watch my friends pets and my family cavalier spaniels when my parents are away. I have experience with all sorts of small pets (hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, etc.), reptiles (tree frogs, bearded dragons, geckos, etc.), fish (fresh water and saltwater), and of course cats and dogs! I am comfortable around all breeds, cat or dog, and I don’t believe in bully breeds. I love cuddle time! I love to sit in bed or on the couch with my furry friends all around me! I also love to play fetch with other people’s dogs (or cats), since my own dogs never seemed to grasp the concept of “bring the toy back”.
“Julie was a fantastic host for our big, goof-ball, goldendoodle, dog Murphy, while we were away over the holidays on a family vacation. Murphy stayed in her home for 8 days and nights where he was at home away from home. Julie provided daily communication including messages, pictures and even videos of our dog playing inside, playing outside in her back yard, going for walks, time at the dog park off leash, having cuddles, and even when he was sound asleep. It was apparent that he was getting lots of exercise, love and attention. Murphy is a fussy eater but she had great success in getting him to eat all of his meals. She administered ear drops for an ear infection (it was all better by the time we got him home) and made sure to stick with his provided dog food and treats to avoid any upset stomach problems he may have encountered. I highly recommend Julie as your pet care provider. We will be requesting Julie again the next time we need someone to care for our dog. Thank you very much, Julie!”
“Kim is a true animal lover! Our big berner was so well loved and cared for by Kim. We received tons of photos and updates which made us feel so comfortable knowing he was safe! She made sure to ask questions before drop off to get to know him and listened to everything we communicated with her. Would highly recommend!”

About: We’re a dog loving family of four with pugs and a St. Bernese! Our kids love all dogs and can’t wait to give cuddles and snuggles to all their new friends! I am a recess and lunch supervisor at school so I only work 40 minutes two times a day! I'm home a lot to give your dog(s) plenty of playtime and attention! We have a big backyard and I always supervise the dogs when they are out for their playtime! We also have a big front yard where I do short leash walks and live on a quiet gravel road for much longer leash walks. Dogs can be crated at night if that's the usual routine, or have their choice of beds to sleep in - my kids LOVE when dogs choose to cuddle with them at night!

About: I have experience caring for indoor cats, outdoor cats, barn cats and hairless/Sphynx cats, as well as cats who need medication or extra support. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions for feeding, litter boxes, medications, routines, indoor/outdoor access and each cat’s individual personality. I know cats can be particular about their space, schedule and people, so I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and low stress as possible. Whether a cat is social, shy, independent, senior, high-energy, or needs a little extra patience, my goal is to help them feel safe and settled while they're in my care. I also offer a complimentary meet-and-greet before the first booking so I can get to know your cat, their routine, their care needs and any other important details ahead of time.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have over 15 years of experience working with all kinds — dogs, cats, and plenty of farm animals too. Living on a farm means I’m used to every personality and energy level, from playful pups to calm seniors. I have two well-behaved, playful dogs of my own and a large property where they can safely run and explore. I’m super flexible and will do whatever makes your pet feel most at home once they’re here — whether that’s extra playtime, snuggles, or sticking to their routine. When your pets stay with us, they’re part of the family too. I’m available Fridays through Mondays, plus the occasional weekday if needed. Your dogs will get tons of outdoor time, play, and attention while they’re here. I’m flexible with pickup and drop-off times and happy to adjust to whatever fits your schedule best. We live on a large farm property with lots of open space for dogs to run, play, and explore safely. Both of my dogs are well-trained with great recall and have never wandered off the property. That being said, if your pup is more comfortable on a leash, I’m happy to accommodate that — we have trails on the property that are perfect for long walks and sniffing adventures. Dogs are welcome to make themselves at home here — they’re free to curl up on the couch for cuddles or lounge wherever they feel most comfortable. I’m happy to follow whatever routine or rules your dog is used to at home, whether that means crating, specific feeding times, or anything that helps them feel secure and settled. Every pet that stays with us is treated like part of the family, with lots of love, attention, and care.

“Jacobe is very kind and great at communicating with you. He always gets back to us and provided videos from his first visit. He came by for a meet and greet beforehand at no charge and it’s obvious he loves and has experience with animals. Thank you, Jacobe!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs for friends and family and am comfortable with daily walks, feeding routines, and basic care. I’m patient, attentive, and focused on keeping dogs safe, happy, and active. I follow instructions carefully and always make sure each dog gets the attention and exercise they need. I have a flexible daily routine that allows me to schedule walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. I make sure each pet gets my full attention, and I’m able to adjust my schedule to meet different needs, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I provide a safe and structured environment with a fully fenced 2-acre yard for supervised play and exercise. I stick to each dog’s routine, including feeding and rest, and make sure they get plenty of attention, activity, and care throughout the day.
“Davrielle was amazing with my 2 fur babies! During the week I was gone, I received daily communications and pictures/videos from Davrielle, letting me know my 2 cats were taken care of. Davrielle's tone of voice to my cats in the videos was so sweet, making it easy for my cat with anxiety to feel more comfortable with her each day. My cats also get daily medications and 1 gets a puffer each morning, so the attention to detail and care Davrielle took was so very appreciated. I came back to a clean apartment - and Davrielle had even re-washed the bedding/towels! I would highly recommend Davrielle to any pet owners. Thank you Davrielle! - Holly & Maow”

About: I retired in 2020 and returned to college to receive my Registered Veterinary Technician diploma in 2023. I have been a foster parent to hundreds of animals over my lifetime, specializing in animals who require medication and specialized medical care. I am retired and available to watch your pet at any time. Last minute and longer term care remains an option. I do travel on occasion but this would be communicated with plenty of notice. I have just moved to the Fergus area and reside in a park-setting which has a fenced leash free area on site. There is a lake should your pup like the water! I can accommodate crate trained animals however my general thinking is that your pet would be like my own were, snuggling on the bed or couch. I realize how important consistency and routine is to your pets wellbeing and would ensure that your routines are followed should I be staying at your home.

About: Growing up, I started my own dog-walking business in my neighborhood, which gave me hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities from a young age. Over the years, that passion has only grown stronger and evolved into extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats. As a proud owner of Bengal cats, I understand the unique needs, energy levels, intelligence, and personalities that different pets require. I am comfortable providing enrichment, play, exercise, feeding, medication administration, and attentive daily care tailored to each animal's individual needs. I also have experience training and caring for a high-drive Doberman Pinscher, which has given me valuable knowledge in obedience training, structure, exercise requirements, and managing intelligent, energetic breeds. Working closely with a breed that thrives on consistency and engagement has strengthened my skills in reading canine behavior and building trust through positive reinforcement. One of my greatest strengths is my emotional intelligence when it comes to animals. I naturally connect with pets, understand their body language, and recognize when they need comfort, play, space, or reassurance. I believe every animal deserves patience, kindness, and individualized care, and I treat every pet as if they were my own family member. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking companion, a reliable caregiver, or simply someone who will provide love and attention while you're away, I am committed to ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Work from home/self employment makes caring for animals a breeze! It also allows for the consistency they need and desire for breaks and play time. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I provide a loving, clean, secure, and closely supervised environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for while you're away. When walking dogs, I always keep them safely leashed unless they are in a fully fenced and secure area approved by their owner. I am highly attentive during walks and outings, ensuring dogs are protected from potential hazards and are always under my supervision. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, and I am especially mindful of nervous, anxious, reactive, or sensitive pets. I pay close attention to body language and behavioral cues, allowing me to recognize potential triggers before they become stressful situations. Whether a dog needs extra patience, space from other dogs, a quieter walking route, or additional reassurance, I adapt my approach to help them feel safe and confident. My experience caring for a variety of breeds and temperaments has taught me the importance of consistency, trust, and positive reinforcement. I take the time to learn each pet's routines, preferences, and needs so I can provide personalized care that helps them feel at home. When your pet is with me, they will be treated like family with plenty of love, attention, exercise, and a safe environment where their well-being always comes first.

About: It can be so difficult to find somewhere you feel comfortable with to leave your pets. We treat your dogs as our own! We have two small Boston terriers who are both spayed and good with other dogs (aged 11 and 8). Lot's of affection, love, and care is given to our animals, and we have a country home with lot's of space and property for exercise and fetch! I work from home so am available to be home with your dog to be let out often. Feel free to reach out if you want to schedule a meet and greet! I currently work from home so am available to let dogs out frequently. We do travel from time to time but will list my availability accordingly. My dogs are not crated, however we are happy to use a crate if this is how your dog is trained. We do allow our pets on the furniture and to sleep in bed however again-whatever your pet is used to is what we will do. We do have a fence at the road of the property however this is not completely enclosed, so I would be putting the dog on a long rope or lead to be safe. I am out in the country with a large yard and bush, but do not leave the dogs unattended outside for any period of time-supervision always. We understand that every dog is taken care of differently and will follow whatever guidelines you are wanting for your pet.
About: My husband and I own a beautiful 100-acre farm in Grey Highlands, 40-minutes from Arthur, and about a 60-minute commute from the GTA. Both of us are avid animal lovers, who are 'addicted' to rescuing. We are a foster family for Sato Saved Dog Rescue out of Brantford, ON and occasionally have foster dogs in our care. Dog-Sitting History... - Worked at Countryside Boarding & Grooming for three years - I have been dogsitting family and friend's dogs since 2013 - Both of us have a combined 16-years experience with dogs A Little About Us... - My husband is a Heavy-Equipment Mechanic out of the GTA - I am a Graphic Designer who works from home full-time - We have a pack of seven rescue dogs - We have six dog-savvy indoor/outdoor cats - Our property is partially fenced (not ideal for flight risk dogs) - We have two large ponds on the property - Lots of space for dogs to run around and play Routine... - First potty time is 4:00 am when my husband leaves for work (this is optional) - Second potty time is between 7:30 am and 8:00 am, and they are let out for an hour - Lunchtime potty is around 12:00 pm, and they are let out for an hour - Dinner time is between 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm - Bedtime potty is between 11:00 pm - 12:00 am *Throughout the day, the dogs are let out as they want, with many short breaks throughout the day. Outside duration is also determined by weather, if it's really gross out - the time will be shortened. *Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any un-fixed dogs (male & female) over the age of 6-months - No Acceptions* Meet-and-Greets... Before a new dog comes into our care, we request that we do one to two meet-and-greets. This gives us the chance to meet you and your dog and see the chemistry / energy with our pack. This also gives you a chance to see our home, property, and meet our dogs. Incidents & Accidents... We believe in 100% transparency when we have dogs in our care. We never want anything to happen when your dog(s) are in our care, but, we always say they are children with teeth. Disagreements can happen, but we do our best to avoid any of that behaviour. When your dog(s) are here, we will give you day-to-day updates; whether it be on their eating habits, bowel movements, upset stomachs, accidents in the house, and even scratches and cuts. We want you to have absolute trust in us, while your dog(s) are with us. Outdoor Safety... For the most part, when dogs are a part of a pack they stick together. However, this isn't always the case should a dog like to wonder OR not have the best recall. In these situations, we like to leash the dog until they gain our trust - we use a long lead, and as they continue their stay here we work on using the leash less and less. We have had a lot of success with this, but each dog is different and we treat them as such! Home Environment... - Dogs sleep in our mudroom at the back of our house* - Small crates can be accomodated, but they are not necessary - We have lots of blankets & beds in the mudroom - Dogs are permitted on our furniture on the main floor (couches) - The mudroom acts as a 'holding area' when they are muddy or wet *Dogs are thoroughly tested in our mudroom prior to bedtime, to make sure that there are no issues, toys are removed at bedtime as well. Typically, the dogs are so tired at the end of the day that bedtime goes off without a hitch. Cleaning Routine... We take great pride in our home, and cleanliness is very important not only for ourselves but for our animals' well-being as well. I use Nature's Miracle Stain & Odour Remover + Vinegar and Water to clean floors and walls. This is done frequently as I have a little OCD regarding the cleanliness of the home. This is done both during dog visits and after each dog visit.

“Jennifer was amazing. While booking she was quick to respond and answer any questions we had. On the day of she reconfirmed the booking, showed up on time, went for a very nice long walk with our dog and made sure everything was closed and locked on her way out. The report after the walk had nice photos too! We will be booking again with her in the future!”

About: Hey, I got my start in dog training with my puppy, Hugo, a highly driven Australian Shepherd. I kept running into challenges, and it felt like our relationship couldn’t improve. So, I decided to take an extensive six-month dog training apprenticeship at NobleK9. After that, I worked as a kennel tech, gaining even more hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I’m a balanced dog trainer, which means I use a mix of reinforcement and clear structure to help dogs become well-behaved and confident! Now, I offer private training and dog walking in Kitchener, focusing on real-world results that make life easier for both you and your dog. If you ever have any questions, I’d be more than happy to have a chat! 😊 The great thing is my schedule is very flexible, so feel free to reach out to arrange a meet and greet! Usually I’m either training dogs or walking them! I worked at a dog training facility so I am very knowledgeable in dog body language and how to keep them safe and happy on walks/visits.
About: With over 20 years of dog sitting experience, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities—from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. My experience includes daily walks, feeding, medication administration, basic training reinforcement, playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I understand canine behavior and body language, allowing me to create a calm, safe, and happy environment for every dog. Dependable, patient, and loving, I treat each dog as if they were my own—because they deserve nothing less. Dog sitting and dog walking are a seamless part of my daily life, not a side job. My days are built around consistent schedules, regular walks, feeding times, play, and companionship, making it easy to give each dog the attention and structure they need. Daily walks aren’t rushed—they’re a chance for exercise, enrichment, and connection. Because caring for dogs is woven into my routine, they receive reliable, calm, and attentive care that feels familiar and stress-free. For me, it’s simply how I live—sharing my days with dogs and making sure they’re happy, safe, and well cared for. I care for dogs in their own homes to keep their routines consistent and stress-free. I follow each dog’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest, paying close attention to their individual needs and personalities. Daily walks are tailored to energy level and age, and I provide companionship, enrichment, and calm supervision throughout the visit. I also handle medication if needed, maintain food and water areas, clean up after walks, and keep the home tidy. By caring for dogs in familiar surroundings, I help them feel secure, comfortable, and well loved while their owners are away.

About: Growing up we constantly had many different pets. May it be cats, dogs, birds or even fish. I love animals and the joy they bring, so as soon as I got my license I started a successful pet sitting business back home. Now that I have moved to Port Hope, I am looking to start back providing care and assistance to my fellow neighbors and their beloved animals. I am extremely patient and kind. I love all animals and if I am not familiar with a particular care process, I am happy to learn. I look forward to being able to provide my services to anyone who needs it. I do currently work 8.30 to 4.30 Monday to Friday but my work is on a hybrid model and I live close to work. I am willing to come and help before work, after work and even on my lunch breaks if needed. My weekends are very open and flexible as well. I currently rent and have 2 cats, so taking care of your pet in my home is possible but restricted. While taking care of pets in their home. I will abide by all house rules. I will visit your home and provide a minimum of 3 walks a day for drop ins, if I am housesitting then more care will be provided. I will also brush your pets and if you wish more grooming services, this can always be discussed.

“Ashley was incredibly accommodating with an out-of-the-norm pick-up times and with a last minute booking. Her property has plenty of space for the dogs to play and my dog loved spending time with her pups. She was very communicative and stayed in touch over the weekend. Only downside - my pup came home smelling quite strongly of cigarette smoke. Other than that, would book again!”

“Harley absolutely loved her weekend stay with Katie! The photos, videos and constant updates were amazing and made us feel so comfortable knowing that Harley was in good hands. Katie's place is the perfect vacation spot for any dog who loves meeting new friends. It is like a giant dog park! We will be back for sure.”

“Nicole was so great with watching our dog, Jagger! Knowing that Jagger is super shy, she was able to accommodate a meet and greet prior to picking her up which was super helpful! She was responsive and super flexible with our schedule! It was obvious that Nicole loves dogs so it was easy to leave our Jagger with her!”
