“Chris treats our Lab, Ozzie, like his own. He always gets plenty of walks, playtime, and attention, and we always come home to a very happy dog. We highly recommend Chris.”

“Leah and Steven were great. Ruby came home and was exhausted from all the play during her stay. Thank you Leah and Steven. I will for sure be requesting another stay in the future.”

“Sarah and her girls took amazing care of Archie while we were in Mexico for a week. She was responsive and communicated well, sending pictures and updates throughout our trip so we had peace of mind knowing he was having a great time and being treated as part of her family. Archie requires medication which was administered appropriately, and he ate well throughout his stay. He also loved taking walks along the trails near her home. Thank you again for everything!”

“Our dog stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it. The property is beautiful and quite a distance from the road, creating a perfect environment for pets. We received daily photos and updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. They also brushed our dog regularly. We’ll definitely book again the next time we’re out of town for an extended period”

About: Hi, I'm Laurel! After 20+ years of running my own business, I am happily retired and dedicating my full-time availability to my true passion: caring for animals and enjoying nature. Inspired by my own fur baby, Spy, my family and I focus heavily on the health, safety, and well-being of your pets. Because I am retired, your pet gets full-time, round-the-clock companionship and a peaceful, clean home environment. Perfect for Bruce Power Commuters: My home is located right on the way to Bruce Power (just 6 minutes off Highway 33). Drop your pet off on your morning commute and pick them up on your way home! Our Safety Requirements & BoundariesTo ensure a safe, blissfully content environment for everyone, we have a few strict rules: Size Limit: We exclusively board small dogs under 15 lbs, or other small caged pets. Health First: All pets must have up-to-date vaccination records and active flea/tick prevention. Mandatory Meet & Greet: We require a quick meet-up before finalizing any booking to ensure it's a perfect match. Our weekly routine is generally the same here, up by 7am and down around 9pm. We walk early in the morning and evenings, later during the hot summer heat. Your pup will be welcomed by everyone. We are a family of dog lovers going way back. Initial visit to become acquainted is encouraged. Let’s meet up first.
“Jenn was fantastic! We were nervous as we had never left our dog before and she put our minds at ease. She was very kind and caring. Sent several photos and updates. She went above and beyond!”

“Pam was wonderful with Kalie; I highly recommend her. She kept in contact throughout her stay and sent many pictures of Kalie which put my mind at ease. Kalie takes daily meds and when she would take her pills in the morning Pam was able to pill her iwhich was a great relief. Not to mention that she left the house super clean — which I completely appreciate. Thanks Pam!”

“Courtney was absolutely exceptional! Stella had a great time in her care! Her property is amazing! She had excellent communication; sent pictures while out on a walk, and kept me in the loop and reassured while we were away! She definitely went over and above to pamper, exercise and take great care of Stella! We would 100% book again and reccommend Courtney!”

About: It can be so difficult to find somewhere you feel comfortable with to leave your pets. We treat your dogs as our own! We have two small Boston terriers who are both spayed and good with other dogs (aged 11 and 8). Lot's of affection, love, and care is given to our animals, and we have a country home with lot's of space and property for exercise and fetch! I work from home so am available to be home with your dog to be let out often. Feel free to reach out if you want to schedule a meet and greet! I currently work from home so am available to let dogs out frequently. We do travel from time to time but will list my availability accordingly. My dogs are not crated, however we are happy to use a crate if this is how your dog is trained. We do allow our pets on the furniture and to sleep in bed however again-whatever your pet is used to is what we will do. We do have a fence at the road of the property however this is not completely enclosed, so I would be putting the dog on a long rope or lead to be safe. I am out in the country with a large yard and bush, but do not leave the dogs unattended outside for any period of time-supervision always. We understand that every dog is taken care of differently and will follow whatever guidelines you are wanting for your pet.
