1. Ashley I.
About: I’ve always had animals in my life since childhood. I’m comfortable with all sizes and need levels. Even though I’m just offering drop in at this time, I will take the time for the attention they need while you’re away. I live in Lacombe but am comfortable with visiting any surrounding communities as I know how hard it is to find someone trustworthy to take care of your pets like your own. Dependable and loving - what I can guarantee when I pop in to take care of your animals. I know for myself, I also ask my sitters to socialize with my pets so they don’t feel abandoned when I’m away. I will always do the same for you.

2. Hunter S.

“Hunter was great with our dog. She took him on a good walk and provided nice pictures of our happy pooch! She followed the instructions given, we will definitely contact her in the future! Thanks Hunter!”

3. Carmen T.

“Carmen is friendly, prompt, and our pup is excited to walk with her. She easily bonded with him, and has no problem using the commands he understands. You and your pup will be happy with Carmen!”

4. Darlene K.
“I would highly recommend Darlene, in fact we are missing her back here in our community since she moved. We have a Dalmation rescue who has his own fear issues and Darlene is the only person we trusted to be with our dog after doing meet and greets with others. Having the expertise, training, first aid and behavioral courses that Darlene has - that's what you want for your pet. Kind, responsible, professional and worth every $.”

About: Hello! Thank you for checking out my page, it's great to have you here! I unfortunately need to step away from pet sitting for a while due to unpredictable travel in my work schedule. I promise that I'll be back, and I'll miss all of your pets so very much in the mean time!! <3 I initially joined Rover in the spring of 2019 as a way to get an animal fix before I was in a place to have my own pet. It was both a blessing and a curse as I loved seeing everyone’s fur babies, but it made me want my own even more! In April of 2020 I accidentally came across Stella on the Central Alberta Humane Society website and knew right then that she was meant to be mine. I took some time away from dog sitting in order to create a solid bond with her and allow her to become used to her new life, but I'm back and ready to share my love with your fur babies! Apart from having my wonderful Alaskan Husky for the past year, I also grew up with a few pets. My family had dog two Australian Shepard/Boarder Colie/Blue Healer crosses until I was in middle school. After they passed, I adopted a lop-eared rabbit and he lived happily for many long years. When I moved away for University, I wasn't in a place to have any animals of my own but spent lots of time around my friends’ pets, and yes, I was very often that person at the party hanging out with the dog! My last year living in Calgary I lived with the most wonderful cat and I was her primary caretaker while her owner was on vacation for around a month of that time. Although that has been my only experience living with cats, I have cared for many though Rover and come to quite love them. I had planned to adopt one of my own before I even considered a dog, but then found Stella and knew I couldn't live without her. I also work with an international company called "Trusted House Sitters" where I am able to watch peoples fur babies all around the world. This is why I have a 2+ year gap in my reviews with Rover, I have spent a lot of my time travelling and watching peoples pets anywhere I can! In order to make having other dogs in our home, or me being gone more often to check on your pet’s fair to my own dog, all money that I receive through Rover goes towards enriching Stella’s quality of life. This includes things like extra treats, toys, and food as well as helping to pay for things like gas and her gear so that I can take her out hiking even more often. During times where I have a surplus of bookings and a little extra cash I also try to donate part of my earnings from Rover to various animal shelters. If you choose to book with us, thank you in advance for helping to make Stella’s life and the lives of other animals all that much better :) Please note that the prices provided on my page are not set in stone and can be subject to change with notice up front to you. A couple examples of these changes may be - you are outside of my set service radius and with higher fuel costs I will need to charge a small amount more to cover this, you are within walking distance of me and I can lower the price a little since I will not be driving, you have asked me to walk 2+ animals but they need to be walked separately. There are more things that may occur but I assure you I will always be up front about any price changes that may occur. I know this was a long bio, I tend to write to much when I get behind a keyboard! If you made it this far, thank you again for visiting my page and I hope to see a message from you soon ! :) I currently work a full-time 40hr/week job between the hours of 8:00-16:00. I am happy to hang out with your fur babies before or after work, or on my lunch break if they are in Blackfalds or North Red Deer. For each new pet I get the pleasure of meeting, I tailor my care to their needs. In your space, I maintain routines, provide TLC, and sprinkle a bit of magic to keep tails wagging. Each pet is unique, so whether it's playtime in the living room or a stroll around the block, I'm here to make their stay or visit delightful and stress-free. Your pet's comfort is my top priority. Please note that for the comfort and safety of my own pet, I currently do not provide any services which involve your animal visiting my home. All services that I provide will involve care either in your home, or walking around your neighbourhood.

9. Jason D.
About: Over the years I have had a lot of different animals with different types of personalities and health difficulties. Making them feel as cared for as possible. I built a wheel chair for my senior dog so that she could live her best life for as long as possible. Customizing cat condos for enrichment purposes. Pet care is a daily practice. While working or not working, all animals need love and care daily. Whether it is play time or giving a good brushing daily care is required. I would treat the clients animal like it was my own I have a fenced yard with two dogs that are more than willing to play with your dog. I have used a crate training to train puppies. I would obey any rules outlined by clients in a clients home. I would enjoy looking after their animal.

17. Bryce M.
About: Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always loved animals. I have 6+ years of experience walking dogs, and providing long term care while owners are away. I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes. Dog walking; I’d like to spend that time not only challenging myself, but challenging your furry friend to be as active as they can be, if no limits are required. A typical walk isn’t just around the neighbourhood- but through nature. Willing to provide my own route, or follow agreed-upon routes and schedules. Pick up any waste left behind, provide water and food/treats if needed. Pet sitting; Not limited to dogs- unlike most pet care providers, I strive to provide the absolute best service I can, for a small price. Willing to do short term to long term care if needed. Things I can do while pet sitting: Provide pets with fresh food/water, administering medication, cleaning out litter boxes/backyards, exercising pets as needed, groom pets if required, provide regular update to pet owners and notifying them of any noticeable illness/injury. I can surely do more! These are just examples of how I handle pet care 😊 I’m currently working a mixed schedule. But can be reliable to check up on your pets as soon as possible. Message me to chat about my availability as I only receive it a week in advance from work. When watching pets for my clients, I always make sure they are well behaved and happy with their environment. No animal should feel alone or mistreated.

Dogs have been a passion of mine since I was a child, and the more I spend time with them the better I feel. Thanks for your consideration I hope to see your fur friend soon!! 19. kelli k.
“If I trust anyone, it would be Kelli to look after/walk my dogs. She is kind, patient, and so loving to any animal she meets. Always playing with them, and giving them the attention and love they deserve. The compassion she has for animals is truly incredible. You will not be disappointed (your pup won’t be either) if you book with Kelli !”

20. Connor R.
“Connor is amazing with animals. He has dog sat and walked our two pups many times. One of our pups doesn’t take well to strangers but she loved Connor instantly. His calm energy and experience with dogs was so apparent. Now whenever Connor comes to walk them she gets so excited she can barely contain herself. Connor is responsible, kind and a great communicator. He sends lots of pictures and videos and is always on time. I highly recommend letting Connor look after your animals!!”
