About: With over 15 years of hands-on experience working with animals, Jacob and I bring a calm, confident, and knowledgeable approach to every pet in our care. We are both experienced Rover pet care providers and share the same dedication to providing safe, reliable, and personalized care for every animal we meet. My background includes professional dog handling, dog training, and dog walking for a company, giving me experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. Together, Jacob and I have extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, and other small furry animals, allowing us to confidently meet a wide variety of pet care needs. We are comfortable with feeding routines, enrichment activities, habitat maintenance, and administering medications when required. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always our top priorities. I am trained in dog CPR, and both Jacob and I prioritize safety, structure, and positive reinforcement in every interaction. Whether your pet needs a reliable walker, patient caregiver, or someone who understands behavior and individualized care, we tailor our services to fit their unique needs. Animals aren’t just a job for us—they’re our passion. We genuinely love building trust, providing enrichment, and ensuring every pet feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. With two dedicated and experienced caregivers, your pets receive extra attention, flexibility, and peace of mind. We offer flexible, around-the-clock availability to meet your pet care needs. Whether you need early morning walks, midday drop-ins, evening visits, overnight care, or last-minute bookings, were happy to accommodate a schedule that works best for you and your pet. I understand that every household runs differently, and pets don’t always stick to a 9–5 routine. That’s why I make myself available all hours of the day, including weekends and holidays, to provide consistent, reliable care when you need it most. Your pet’s routine, comfort, and well-being remain my priority, no matter the time. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets in both my home and my client’s home. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any medical or behavioral needs to ensure consistency and reduce stress. I maintain a clean, calm, and pet-safe environment, closely supervise interactions, and follow feeding, exercise, and medication instructions exactly as provided. In a client’s home, I respect your space while keeping your pet’s routine as normal as possible — including walks, playtime, enrichment, and quiet rest. In my home, pets are treated like family, with a secure environment, structured care, and plenty of attention. I also monitor for any changes in behavior or health and communicate updates so you always feel confident and informed while you’re away.
“Loghan is awesome, great communication and easy to reach. He sends pictures during Leo's stay which I really appreciate. Leo loves going over to Loghans for a stay! Thank you so much.”

“This was the first time at Kasi's. Kasi sent me pictures and updates which put my mind at ease. Kasi picked Ella up and dropped her off. When Kasi dropped her off, I couldn't believe it but Ella pulled towards the car and cried as Kasi pulled away. It was in that moment I realized they were a perfect match! 🥰 Kasi is also very warm and friendly. Thank you Kasi!”

About: Hi! We are Star Sitters here on Rover, with 6 years of professional pet care and 18 with our own animals. Someone is always here in our calm, safe, and dog friendly home so your dog can spend the day with company instead of being home alone. We do live with our loveable Boston Terrier, Gus, and we are often found hiking on dog friendly trails on the weekend or spending time at the lake. We are very active, enjoy being outside and think dogs should be too - Gus has a lot of energy so daily excercise is key already here. I work as a professional planner and Scott works from home and we are both free on weekends with flexible schedules. We spend a lot of love and time on Gus, who, like us, loves being around other dogs. We would be happy to meet you and your doggy in advance so you can get to know us. Emily works in the office four days per week just a few minutes from home, Scott works from home. Neither of us work on the weekend. Our home is save for any animal - we're smoke free, drug free with no children. Gus loves other dogs and always enjoys having a friend around. Our back yard is mostly fenced in and it's tucked behind. The front is also mostly fenced with a small garden fence.
“We had an amazing experience boarding our dog here. From the moment we dropped off our pup, we knew Hua was in great hands. She was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive, ensuring our dog received plenty of love, exercise, and proper meals.”

About: My entire life has been richly blessed by the presence of dogs. For over 17 years, I have had the joy and responsibility of being a dedicated dog owner, and my experience is rooted in a home filled with a vibrant pack of nine dogs, each of a different breed and size, who taught me the beautiful diversity of the canine world. While my family back home cares for them, I currently have my own faithful companion by my side—a constant reminder of the profound bond between a person and their pet. This lifelong immersion has given me a deep-seated passion for canine care that extends beyond my own animals. I have frequently provided care for the pets of friends and family, treating each one with the same love and attention I would my own. What I cherish most is getting to know each dog as the unique individual they are. I understand that every "fur baby" has their own distinct personality, preferences, and quirks, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to their care. I would be absolutely delighted to learn everything you are willing to share about your beloved companion—their favorite games, their daily routines, their little quirks, and any specific instructions you have. Please know that you can always feel comfortable letting me know precisely what to do and what to avoid; your guidance is my most valuable tool. It would be my genuine privilege and pleasure to provide your dog with a fun, safe, and nurturing experience, filled with engaging play and heartfelt companionship. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and your wonderful dog. 🐾 My daily schedule is built around the needs of the pets in my care. I treat their routine with the same importance as any other essential daily commitment. The hands-on duties of pet care, like bathing, feeding, and play, are tasks I've always genuinely loved doing for my own dogs and my relatives' pets. I am truly excited to provide that same level of dedicated, hands-on love and attention to your furry baby! please do let me know of how you take care of your pet and I will maintain that for me and your dogs relationship on going.

In summer I have full availability to meet your pets needs at any time! I can also offer training and enrichment if requested. I have full availability to be home and care for your pets during the summer. I have a large home with plenty of space for your dog to run and play. About: I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals, and I truly can’t imagine a home without them. Over the years, I’ve raised and trained dogs from puppyhood—including golden retrievers, labs, and shepherd mixes—and loved them through every stage of life until their senior years. I’ve also cared for cats for more than 25 years, including fostering pregnant mothers and nursing newborn kittens. What really sets me apart is my experience with pets that need extra care: elderly, injured, or special-needs animals who require patience, strength, and compassion. Through volunteering with LAWS and the Humane Society, I’ve had the privilege of supporting animals in all kinds of situations. I’m active, reliable, and strong—I go to the gym regularly—and I’ll bring that same energy, love, and dedication to caring for your pets as if they were my own. Now that I’m semi retired, I have all the time in the world to dedicate to something I truly love—caring for animals. My days are wide open, which means I can easily adjust to your pet’s schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. Spending time with animals has always been one of my favourite pastimes, and it brings me joy to make them feel safe, happy, and cared for. Whether it’s a relaxed cuddle session with a senior cat, an energetic walk with a playful dog, or checking in throughout the day, I have the flexibility and the heart to give your pets the attention they deserve. When I care for pets in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. I keep a calm, pet-friendly environment with lots of love, attention, and plenty of time for play or rest depending on their needs. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines closely, whether that means sticking to specific feeding times, administering medications, or keeping up with favourite activities. I know how important consistency is for animals, so I make it a priority to keep their day-to-day life as familiar and stress-free as possible. No matter the setting, I give each pet the patience, care, and affection I’d want for my own.
About: I have enjoyed taking care of dogs and other pets from a young age. I like getting to know the unique qualities of each animal and enjoy providing an enriching environment full of activities for the active dog, or a quiet, calm space for the pets who take more time to settle in. Caring for, and socializing, puppies over a summer was one of the most memorable pet care times, as a family member was preparing to find homes for a litter. I'm currently off work for the summer and have lots of flexibility to care for your pets for overnight stays, walks, or drop in visits to your home. I have a fenced backyard and a park across the road with lots of walking trails around to accomodate all the needs or your furry friend. We do also have 1 friendly cat in the home.
About: I've had dogs for my entire life! I grew up with great danes. I volunteered training puppies in high school. I started fostering dogs as soon as I was able (and still do!) and very quickly adopted my first dog. Dogs have always been my passion. I was working a corporate job while spending my free time training sport and foster dogs, reading about dog behaviour, and learning as much about dogs as I could. I've recently decided to focus on dogs full time, and decided to jump on Rover to help supplement and get me started :) While I'm already quite confident in my skills, there's ALWAYS room for improvement! As such, I have invested quite a bit into continuing to grow as a dog trainer. Most recently I went to LA to take a dog training course from my favourite dog trainer. There is no such thing as a bad dog! I am willing and prepared to handle reactivity or any behaviourial issues, you won't have to worry about your pup when they're with me! I very recently left my full-time job to focus exclusively on dog training. When your pet is staying with or going for a walk with me, they will be my full focus! Along with my dog, of course. It is so so important for dogs to get individual time with people away from other dogs, so I make sure every dog gets plenty of one on one time with me every day. I live on a beautiful property in Kendal ON! There’s fields, fully enclosed dog runs available, and we’re located very close to the Ganaraska Forest! We will be spending a fair amount of time out of the house- I love going on hikes or finding some secluded grass areas/fields to work with the dogs in. If the dogs I have at the time are all healthy and physically able, we'll go for hikes as long as 20km! It's all about them- I love bringing a longline with me so your furry friend can explore and sniff and run around in nature.
About: I have always loved taking care of dogs and cats my whole life. I have a lot of experience being around and helping all different pets. I am a very active person and walk and go on runs everyday. I walk at-least 5km everyday so i would be very happy to walk your dog any distance or for any time requested. I am very friendly and am comfortable with all types of dogs and cats. My friends often drop off their dogs at my house and i will happily walk them and spend time with them. I am currently certified in Standard First Aid and CPR. I used to be a Lifeguard and would guard dog swims all the time. I have a G license and a car so i am able to drive to your pet when needed. I walk everyday so I would be happy to walk with a dog and help others. I am available most days at any time. I need a day notice, sometimes even the day of. I will walk your dog however long you would like me too. Once i even walked a marathon so i enjoy walking a lot. My home is very tidy and clean. It is a bungalow with a half fenced yard with grass space. I will gladly pet sit the dog during the day or at night if needed.
“Joan was wonderful, our puppy felt comfortable right away. He had a great time and was very happy when we picked him up. She seems to love what she does and cares. Joan was very accommodating and very quick to respond. We will definitely be using her again. Thank you Joan.”
