About: Hi! We are Star Sitters here on Rover, with 6 years of professional pet care and 18 with our own animals. Someone is always here in our calm, safe, and dog friendly home so your dog can spend the day with company instead of being home alone. We do live with our loveable Boston Terrier, Gus, and we are often found hiking on dog friendly trails on the weekend or spending time at the lake. We are very active, enjoy being outside and think dogs should be too - Gus has a lot of energy so daily excercise is key already here. I work as a professional planner and Scott works from home and we are both free on weekends with flexible schedules. Emily works in the office four days per week just a few minutes from home, Scott works from home. Neither of us work on the weekend. I've recently decided to focus on dogs full time, and decided to jump on Rover to help supplement and get me started :) While I'm already quite confident in my skills, there's ALWAYS room for improvement! As such, I have invested quite a bit into continuing to grow as a dog trainer. Most recently I went to LA to take a dog training course from my favourite dog trainer. There is no such thing as a bad dog! I am willing and prepared to handle reactivity or any behaviourial issues, you won't have to worry about your pup when they're with me! I very recently left my full-time job to focus exclusively on dog training. When your pet is staying with or going for a walk with me, they will be my full focus! Along with my dog, of course. It is so so important for dogs to get individual time with people away from other dogs, so I make sure every dog gets plenty of one on one time with me every day. I live on a beautiful property in Kendal ON! There’s fields, fully enclosed dog runs available, and we’re located very close to the Ganaraska Forest! We will be spending a fair amount of time out of the house- I love going on hikes or finding some secluded grass areas/fields to work with the dogs in. If the dogs I have at the time are all healthy and physically able, we'll go for hikes as long as 20km! It's all about them- I love bringing a longline with me so your furry friend can explore and sniff and run around in nature.

About: I’ve been a dog & cat owner since childhood, and I’ve looked after family & friends’ pets for almost as long! I am no stranger to pets young and old, energetic and slow, shy and outgoing, nor am I a stranger to caring for pets when they’re ill, or have a few special needs here and there. About: I’ve had a dog around my whole life, my family has owned 3 dogs in my lifetime, my husband and I had a beautiful chocolate lab who crossed the rainbow bridge way too soon at only 3 days past his 3rd birthday. We now have a 2 year old English lab. My absolute dream would be to open a dog sanctuary and let all the dogs live their best life. I’m currently on maternity leave so my days are pretty open. I would need to bring my 1 yr old with me for walks as my husband works during the day so if your dog is ok with strollers perfect if not I can put my son in the carrier. About: I’ve always been fond of dogs big or small and had dogs around me since I was born which is also why I believe this is a job for me because I am able to take care of any dog and treat them with love the same way I Would want my dog to be treated w someone else . I enjoy practicing training with pets also and have successfully conditioned some to learn commands. I offer grooming services as well at no extra cost, except showers/baths. Your pet is in safe hands and you will have nothing to worry about while they are in my care. I will make sure of that.
