My wonderful cat, Archie, taught me how to carefully administer medication and, more importantly, how to become highly attuned to an animal’s needs through body language and non-verbal communication. I’ve also grown up caring for bull-breed dogs, and I had a beloved frog named Fern who lived an incredible 24 years. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for how different every animal can be — and how important it is to understand and respect their individual personalities, needs, and routines. 📸 Communication & Peace of Mind While you’re away, I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can see how your pets are doing. I do not currently offer boarding in my home, however safety is my top priority when caring for your animals at your house. I make sure to follow your rules and keep your animals schedule as close to what they are accustomed to.

The only day I’m typically out of the house is Thursday, but I make sure pets in my care have everything they need before and after I’m gone. My home becomes your pet’s home while they’re here. Dogs are welcome to relax on the couch or curl up in bed—unless you prefer to keep those spaces off‑limits, in which case I’ll happily follow your rules. I also have a spacious backyard that’s mostly fenced, giving dogs room to explore and enjoy some fresh air. Plus, I live in a great area for walks, with several parks nearby and a couple of lovely dog parks for pups who enjoy social time and extra exercise.

About: I grew up with animals in the home and I have over 15 years of pet sitting experience! I also have the energy levels to keep up with even the highest energy dogs. Aside from a few hours during the week, I work from home. I can adjust my schedule for the most part to ensure every pets needs are met. I live in an apartment with plenty of nearby parks to take them to play. My building is very safe when it comes to other animals being well behaved. I also don't take on multiple pets so your pet will receive all the attention it needs. When I'm pet sitting in your home I like to follow a similar routine to what your pet is used to. In terms of eating, playtime, going to the bathroom etc. That way while you're away they feel more comfortable and safe.

Every animal's specific personality leaves its mark on my heart. My services include dog walking, dog/cat/fish pet sitting, and overnight care. If your pet is shy, a cuddler, or thinks humans are beneath them, I am there to fit into their life and make sure you get updates to ensure your mind is at ease. I'm very comfortable with reactive dogs, making sure they don't chomp on anything they are not supposed to while on their walks, keeping them safe, and also sometimes sprinting with them when the weather permits! :) I'm happy to provide references, and very excited to meet your fur babies! I have a very relaxed job and so work from home most of the time, with a flexible work schedule that I mostly set myself (the rest of it is set by deadlines!) I enjoy being given a purpose to change my routine, so regardless of early riser/late sleeper, your pet and I can hang out when it is comfortable for them. My biggest rule is that I never want to stress your pets out more than they are already stressed out - they miss you already, why would we relocate them! I ask that you provide me with their usual routine and keep to it to ensure that your pet is comfortable. With cats and dogs, I make sure to keep a comfortable distance and let them smell and see me exist around them for a while before I attempt any contact. All we need is safety with animals, and it is my utmost priority :)
