“Hope has been wonderful with Loba! She walks my puppy twice a week and is always reliable, caring, and attentive. Loba is always happy to see her and comes back from walks content and well exercised. It’s clear Hope genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after, and I really appreciate the peace of mind she gives me. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind dog walker!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over three years now. My longest stay has been with two dogs for 21 days. There’s nothing in this world that I love more than spending time with pups, so I’d love nothing more than to care for your dogs, however long you need me! I don’t have a job in the summer so I have lots of time, I usually workout in the morning at 7:30 and then usually have something early afternoon, but I’m never away for longer than 2 hours. I’m big on dog love, the more they learn that we can trust each other, the smoother we will get along. However much care your dog needs, I’m willing to provide!
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have 12 years of hands-on experience caring for my own dog. That experience taught me how important patience, routine, trust, and attention are when looking after someone’s pet. I’m reliable, caring, and will always treat your dog like they’re my own. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My schedule is very flexible, and pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I usually work out in the mornings a few days a week, but I’m free most of the day and can make plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and keeping your pet company. I’ll always make sure I only accept bookings where I can give your dog the time, care, and attention they deserve. I prefer caring for pets in their own home or taking them on walks, where they can stay comfortable in a familiar routine. I follow all owner instructions carefully and make sure each pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for. During walks, I stay attentive, patient, and responsible at all times.
About: I grew up with dogs (I currently have two large breed dogs) and I’ve also been a volunteer at a dog adoption center for most of my life. I have lots of experience with dogs of various ages, temperaments, and breeds. I have also volunteered at an animal hospital and have assisted with shelter vet visits. I am currently a Cegep student studying to be a veterinary technician so I have lots of availability to walk and play with your dogs ! Since dogs all have different needs and behaviours I will do my best to adapt to whatever will make your dog happy ! I will follow usual schedules in order to keep your dog comfortable and will provide lots of love and care as if they were my own :)!
About: Growing up with a veterinarian parent, I have spent my entire life around animals. I have 10+ years of experience walking dogs (both my own and others’) and have fostered a variety of pups, big, small and in-between! I have quite a flexible schedule, as well as access to a vehicle. I walk my own dog (large black lab) multiple times a day and would love to provide these services to another dog. I have experience caring for both big and small dogs, including cleaning up after, playing with and feeding them. Cleanliness and responsibility are major strengths of mine. I love dog-walking, and typically take my own dog on 45 minute walks, which she enjoys thoroughly.

I'm patient, reliable and with many years of experience caring for dogs, cats and reptiles, you can be assured that my priority is always making your pet feel safe, happy and comfortable while you're away. I had a wonderful cat, Archie, who taught me how to properly and carefully administer medication and become very attuned to animals needs through body language and non-verbal communication. I also had a frog, Fern, who lived well beyond her years! I'll keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and safe. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s)! About: I’ve care for cats and dogs. I lived with a puppy Labrador retriever and still puppy sit him when his parents are out of town. I also had my own cockapoo from puppyhood. I’ve fostered 4 dogs in the last 8 months. Love the cuddles and their sweetness. I’ve also cat sat and he really warmed up to me. My cats having usually been pretty good with other pets. If not they have lots of room for them to hide in my home. Big Fenced in backyard for dogs to roam. I’m not working so I have lots of time on my hands and love pet sitting. We could keep each other company. Send me a note! Have a fenced yard and a big house where they can roam. I love cuddling with them on the couch ❤️ Cats love my petting and dogs love to be brushed. I have 2 sizes of crates. That lots of dogs like.

About: I’ve always loved the way dogs bring joy, personality, laughter, and comfort into everyday life. Caring for them comes naturally to me, and I put a lot of intention into making sure each dog feels safe, relaxed, and understood. I love creating a calm, comfortable space for dogs to settle in. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine, quirks, and comfort level so they can feel cared for and at ease. I’m patient, observant, and committed to following the guidelines you set so your dog feels right at home. Here’s what your dog can expect: • A peaceful, comfortable environment • Gentle attention and affection • Walks, playtime, and enrichment based on their energy level • Consistency with your rules and routines • Clear communication and regular updates My goal is for your dog to feel secure and happy — and for you to feel completely at ease while they’re with me. I work from home, so your dog will have company for most of the day. I’m around and attentive, which means plenty of companionship, playtime, and regular trips outside whenever they need a break. The only day I’m typically out of the house is Thursday, but I make sure pets in my care have everything they need before and after I’m gone. My home becomes your pet’s home while they’re here. Dogs are welcome to relax on the couch or curl up in bed—unless you prefer to keep those spaces off‑limits, in which case I’ll happily follow your rules. I also have a spacious backyard that’s mostly fenced, giving dogs room to explore and enjoy some fresh air. Plus, I live in a great area for walks, with several parks nearby and a couple of lovely dog parks for pups who enjoy social time and extra exercise.
About: I grew up with animals in the home and I have over 15 years of pet sitting experience! I also have the energy levels to keep up with even the highest energy dogs. Aside from a few hours during the week, I work from home. I can adjust my schedule for the most part to ensure every pets needs are met. I live in an apartment with plenty of nearby parks to take them to play. My building is very safe when it comes to other animals being well behaved. I also don't take on multiple pets so your pet will receive all the attention it needs. When I'm pet sitting in your home I like to follow a similar routine to what your pet is used to. In terms of eating, playtime, going to the bathroom etc. That way while you're away they feel more comfortable and safe.
“Jessica and Erik were great! Although it was only for a brief time, they were warm and friendly and Picotine took to them right away. If you’re looking for reliable, dog loving walkers, i highly recommend them!”

“Marianne is so sweet and my puppy loves her. She’s very reliable and great with communication. Best of all, my puppy always comes home tired and my husband and I get a break 😅”

About: Growing up in a pet-loving home, I found joy in caring for various animals. My family has 2 dogs, 3 cats and 2 bunnies. I am the number 1 babysitter for all of my family. I always stay in communication with the dogs owner by sending updates with pictures and videos. Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily routine, as I prioritize their well-being. When I visit my family, I happily bring my dog for walks or to the dog park. Afterwards, I indulge in delightful moments with the cats, showering them with affection through gentle scratches. I provide pet care at home or in my client's home by ensuring their well-being. From feeding to playtime and exercise, I prioritize their happiness and health, fostering a loving environment for these cherished companions.
About: I love meeting new dogs. No matter what type of dog it may be, it makes my day:) I go on walks with my own dog every day to get his excercise in and love cuddling and socializing with him. I would love to do that with other dogs and have them meet my friendly chocolate lab! His name is Murphy and he loves to meet new friends. I have been dog sitting for neighbours for many many years now, even pet setting other types of pets as well! I used to have a cat and I love cats just as equally as dogs. This is so exciting for me to be able to do. Feel free to contact me whenever to pet sit for you! Sincerely, Avery

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Beaconsfield choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
