“Karin was wonderful with my husky, Baylee. I just felt so comfortable with her and her family from the moment I met her and when I left Baylee with her. I will definitely be booking stays again with Karin!”

“Excellent with our dogs, and very accommodating with our schedule. They seem to enjoy their stay and are well loved and cared for which is all a dog owner needs. Thanks again.”
“Linda took such amazing care of my Lola this past weekend. I really appreciated the photo and updates on how Lola was doing. Lola will definitely be staying with Linda again in the future. Thankyou for taking such good care of Lola. I would absolutely recommend Linda for doggy care.”

“Todd had the best time staying with Lindsey! He was well cared for while we went on a long holiday. Had so much fun playing with the families other dogs. Came back better trained than we sent him! Will happily send our pup to stay again!”

“Tara had a wonderful stay with Maryanne and her family, including her own fur baby. She loved sharing the couch with them and I hear hogged the space in front of the fireplace (sorry about that!). I really appreciated seeing the photos of her enjoying her time there. Thank you for taking such good care of my girl!”

About: I have had a dog or taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. Family, neighbours and friends have all relied on me to help take care of their pets for many years. I am a huge animal lover and a health care worker and will always provide the best and safest care for your pup. Recently I have fostered some dogs through a local rescue and helped them find their new home. I have learned alot about behaviours and training with these pups. We love to play in the yard or go for walks, and have lots of snuggles on the couch :) I currently work part time so have lots of time available to spend with your dog! My flexible schedule allows me to board your pet overnight any day of the week, or drop in for visits/walks. I have a fenced back yard and two small dogs to keep your fur baby company! Your dog is welcome to treat our home as their own and I will give them lots of love and be devoted to their happiness and well being while you are away.
“Amy has been lovely to connect with. My dog is quite introverted and I was a bit nervous at first but Amy was able to put things at ease. My dog connected with her dogs quite well and it was lovely to see how well they’ve connected. I’ll be asking Amy for her help with dog day care and boarding more this summer for sure. If you’re considering having Amy help your dog, I think your dog would be in good hands.”

About: I've taken care of many dogs, big and small. My dog has environmental allergies and I'm accustomed to giving medications and following a specific routine. I work from home on Monday and Friday and I am available on weekends. My dog goes for two walks per day and we walk in a safe walking area. Our home is especially good for small dogs. It has a nicely fenced back yard and a clean, comfortable space where dogs can relax and get the attention they deserve while you are away. I'm happy to send photo and text updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and well cared for. Our dog is the center of our home and I treat every dog I care for with the same love and attention.
“Amy is a wonderful dog sitter, and just a kind person overall. She took such good care of our young Nero, his first long stretch away from home. She was patient and shared pictures with us every day, giving us huge piece of mind. She was also honest- that he was in high need of attention, maybe more than we realized, which is helpful to know as we continue our training journey. I highly recommend Amy. It is truly evident she loves dogs and will spend quality time with them in nature and at home. I’m sorry he stole her cheese!”

“Erin was wonderful with my doodle and also very accomodating for drop-off and pick-up times as driving took a little longer then expected one day. My dog was very calm and happy when I picked her up so I was glad to know she was well taken care of by Erin.”

“Kelsey is a great sitter, my Lucky is super happy to stay with her. Even after she often checks in with me about my dog. Seeing someone love a dog as much as she did is so lovely.”
“Andrea was really great with Izzy. She was patient and made her comfortable in her home, allowing her to settle in. She played with her while understanding her boundaries and play style. Andrea was communicative and kept me updated while I was away. Izzy took to her and her family right away and I felt good knowing she was in good hands. Thank you!”

“Ernie had a great time at his sleepover! Haley and Mark were communicative and made every effort to make sure our guy would be happy with his stay. They were also accommodating with our schedule which was very helpful!”

“Our senior dog, Indy, had an amazing time with Kelsey and her family. From the photos we got she fit right in with the family, and we appreciate how well they took care of her.”

“Bentley had an excellent stay with Lauren and Andy with plenty of walks and no end of fun. It was easy to tell that he was enjoying himself because he got so tired and was ready to sleep at night without a problem. Lauren also sent us daily reports on what had happened together with photos and some videos and we were most happy to get the regular updates An excellent experience”

“Jennifer was great. My cats are shy, anxious and hide when I leave the house for a long time. Jennifer was able to get them out of their hiding places, which reduced their anxiety. The cats were relaxed when I returned.”

“We’re happy we booked Anna Maria again to visit our elderly cat while we were away. She came twice a day and made sure meds were served and the cat was given attention and treats. We received notes and pictures from each visit. Anna Maria is very communicative, reliable and responsive. Glad she was available on short notice.”

About: I have experience caring for cats with all kinds of personalities, from outgoing supervisors to quiet observers. I focus on calm, routine-based care and take the time to let cats set the pace. I’m comfortable administering medications, keeping litter boxes very clean, and following detailed care instructions. About: Hey all you Pet Parents! Leaving your babies with someone you don't know can be terrifying, and to be honest, I was never able to leave my baby in a daycare - So I totally know what you are feeling right now! I will make sure they know how much they are loved, and I will always send pictures and updates to put your mind at ease! Each and every fur baby is the most special, and I always make sure they know that. My name is Hanna and animals are truly my life. I have spent my entire life spending as much time as possible with ALL types of animals. For me, growing up it was Dogs and Horses... Not only was I completely obsessed - but I was also the neighbourhood dog walker/babysitter. We lived in a fairly safe area, and most people would let their dogs have free roam. That being said, if they ever couldn't find their dogs, they were usually hanging out with 5 year old me, in my yard, or my bed. I began volunteering part time in barns and stables at the age of 7 years old. Every weekend I was taking care of all the barnyard animals, sheep, pregnant cats, injured ducks, birthing cows, nursing horses - you name it. During this time I also volunteered at the local SPCA, playing and brushing all the animals, and walking the dogs. As I grew older, I became the go-to in my neighbourhood whenever pets needed extra attention. I had two dogs on my street alone that needed regular medical support, and their owners weren't fully comfortable administering medication. One needed regular insulin injections, and one had part time subcutaneous pain management, that turned into full-time geriatric support I would help with. I was also the go-to when they couldn't take their babies on vacation with them, both in my parents house (Sorry Mom and Dad) and at their owners home. At the age of 13 I was on payroll with an elite Hunter/Jumper barn. I was part of a team that cared for 27 high performance show horses, with the most expensive horse in the barn being worth 1.2 million dollars (He happened to also be the best cuddler.) I stayed with this stable all through the rest of grade school until I went to Pharmacy school. Working with this team is still, to this day, the best working experience I have had in my life. Currently, I have the most wonderful Staffy mix, and he is truly my "soul dog". He is 8 years old and the biggest sweety pie ever, my Mother calls him "the marshmallow". We have recently signed up to be volunteers with St. John's, so that we can visit patients and eventually students who could use a dose of happiness. He loves other dogs, and kids, or anyone that will talk to him - and he will gladly share me with anyone we have in our home. I have both the passion, and the experience to give your babies not only the love they deserve, but also the care that they need while you are away, either at work or on vacation. If you have any questions at all, please reach out and I will get back to you as soon as possible! Take Care xo I own my own business so I am very flexible with time, and absolutely love being able to switch gears, get some fresh air with the dogs and give my brain a break! I am extremely professional and will follow your directions for how you’d like your dog (and me) to behave in the home - consistency is important! I have had multiple clients give me their keys or door codes to come and go with absolutely no concerns, I’m only there for your pets! My home has a very large fenced yard where your pet can safely explore to their hearts content. I am very comfortable with all animals, and am able to uphold any training regimens you may have (including e-collars, alternative collars etc)

“You couldn’t ask for a better person to care for your fur baby. Her drop in visits for our senior kitty have been priceless. Our kitty loves her which makes our time away stress free. I cannot recommend Anitra enough 😊”

“I was so grateful to have Jillian look after my kitty and home while I was away. She's very friendly and sweet and sent regular updates while we were away so we knew how Geronimo was doing. She even cleaned before she left so we didn't have to do a thing when we came home. I would definitely recommend her and will book with her again. Thanks so much Jillian!”

About: I've grown up with two cats in my life for basically my whole life. Throughout the years, I've done pet sitting jobs through family friends, mostly for cats. However, I'm open to anything as all animals are equally important :) I'm in university, and I'm currently not working at the moment. I'm available any time, any day. I'm quite flexible, and even if/when a job comes around the corner I could make it work also. My two cats are indoor, and we have lots of toys to occupy them. Dealing with cat litter is like second nature, so that is easy-peasy for me. I do not have any special things that I could bring with me (ex. doggie bags or a crate), however I want to make sure that the animal is comfortable.

About: I’ve always owned cats. I grew up with cats and so did my children. Unfortunately my current living situation does not allow cats so I have lots of time for yours. I’m currently working less than 30 a week so lots of time to care for your cats. My profile picture is of my cat Goldie and dog Parker
“Dorothy is true gem. She took care of my cat (and for awhile, my dog) during a very chaotic and stressful time for me. She was very kind, and flexible during this unpredictable period. She sent pics of my pets to me everyday, which was so comforting. (She even found a toy that my cat, who doesn't "do" toys, seemed to enjoy.) Superlative pet care. Thank you Dorothy. I have no hesitation in recommending you in the highest terms.”

About: I have over 7 years of experience caring for cats of all ages and personalities. From playful kittens full of energy to calm senior cats who need extra patience and attention, I know how to provide the right balance of love, safety, and comfort. I can handle feeding routines, litter box cleaning, grooming, giving medications if needed, and making sure your cat feels safe and happy while you are away. I truly enjoy spending time with cats, playing with them, and building trust so they feel loved and cared for like they are my own

“Michelle was kindly available at very late notice after our other arrangement fell through. She was fantastic with Bertie and he had a great day of hiking, playing in the pool and chilling in Michelle’s house. Got lots of picture/video updates thought out the day which was much appreciated. Michelle really looked after Bertie like he was her own. Highly recommend !”

About: I have had the pleasure of owning two black labs over the last 45 years. Love to hike and like the company of a dog to come along. I am now retired. Looking for reasons to go for a walk. Would love to look after a dog to keep me company and give me some company during the day. I have a fenced yard. Have always kept my dog on a leash when walking. Dog hair in the house isn’t an issue. Lots of attention given
“Our 2 year-old dog stayed with Danielle while we visited family and we knew she was in great hands. Danielle has a great fenced area for them to run and play and she is clearly very experienced with dogs and we will readily look her up again if we need sitting in the area again in the future.”

“Bee was absolutely great with Takaya! He and Vec had the run of the yard, were well-matched in energy levels, and Bee sent me lots of cute pics and videos of them playing and adoring each other.”

About: Hello dog lovers! My name is Kelsey and I am an animal lover and youth & family counsellor with the vancouver island YMCA in a variety of neurodiverse settings. I have always felt a closeness and sincere love for all animals :) I am a responsible individual and am so excited to love and care for your furry friend! I have raised my own pup for 15 years and now have a sweet, gentle border collie named Takaya who recently turned 4! Takaya loves all dogs - but can also very easily be separated from your pup as we have a relatively large property, as I know all dogs have differing levels of comfortability around other dogs. In addition to dogs, I also have experience caring for rabbits, guinea pigs, and cats. As my work is currently flexible & often remote - I will be available the vast majority of each day to spend time caring for your loved one. Travelling frequently over the past few years, I am truly able to empathise with other pet owners as they hope for peace of mind in regards to their pets well-being and comfort while they're away. It is my goal to offer you this sense of peace and to love your furry family member as I would my own. I can also provide pick up and drop off! I can't wait to hear from you! Kelsey I'm extremely fortunate to work flexibly and often remotely for the YMCA so that I may truly focus on caring for and comforting your pet while they are missing you. My husband and I have a large, fenced in yard, with tonnes of outdoor and indoor space. If your furry loved one is not comfortable around other dogs, it is very easy to separate my border collie while still providing each animal with close connection and care.

About: I have had cats or dogs my whole life. I’d love to make your travel easier by caring for your beloved fur babies while you are away from home. I work from home and can rearrange my schedule during the day to stop in and take your pets out for potty breaks or a quick walk or cuddles. “Amy is magnificent! I was a bit hesitant to put in a review as I want her available for my mutt! ;-) She is very calm and zen, loving, open and warm which was evidenced by our first meet and greet where she got on the floor and my girl just cuddled into her arms. She sent photos and updates without me asking and was flexible with last minute changes keeping Lily overnight. It is my Lily (the white French Bull Dog) that you will see on her sitter profile, and you can see for yourself how wonderful Amy is.”
“I cannot day enough good things about Lindsey. She took amazing care of my little guy. Panda came back exhausted and clearly had a great day. I received bunch of updates and pictures throughout the day . 5 ⭐️”

“I can’t say enough about how great Rachel is. I highly recommend her. My dog Kai loved spending time with with her and be a farm dog for two days. If you need a dog daycare please use Rachel, she’s fabulous”

“Criofan was great, we were travelling from Edmonton and decided to do a last minute Whale Watching Tour. Within 5 minutes Criofan responded and we had Luna booked in to play for the day. We really appreciated the late night pick up at 10pm, was flexible for us to enjoy our time in Victoria without feeling rushed. The drive was only 20 mins, but was definitely worth the drive, huge space for Luna to run with Albert. Really appreciated the messages after dropping Luna off, put my mind at ease that she was behaving. Highly recommend, we got back a happy tired pooch!”

“Hanna was so kind and calm with my dog, Penelope. We were in the area while I worked at a local business - she was very accommodating and flexible which I really appreciated! Hanna looked after Penelope for about 4 hours, walking her around and was even kind enough to ask if she could take P to her backyard where she was able to wander around off leash and sniff and have cuddles in the shade. Hanna kept in touch with me the whole time and even sent some videos so I knew what they were up to. Will absolutely reach out if I’m working in the area again, highly recommended! Thanks again Hanna ??”

I’ve always grown up surrounded by so many pets which makes me so compassionate towards every fur baby; I have a sense for dogs especially. I had a 13 year old Miniature Schnauzer/Terrier for almost 10 years who has passed on December of 2021. He was my life. Now I vicariously live through the fur babies I get to spend time with and spoil my favourite little frenchie niece! My favourite thing to do is go out and find new and exciting spots to hike on beautiful Vancouver Island. I've pet sat for a lot of family and friends when they’ve gone out of town. I couldn’t imagine my life not being surrounded by furry friends and I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family! I currently work part-time and I’m very active so I have lots of time to take out your dog to various hiking spots all over! I live in a safe neighbourhood and place right off Long Lake. I will make sure your fur baby is safe and feels loved and cared for.

“Karin was wonderful with my husky, Baylee. I just felt so comfortable with her and her family from the moment I met her and when I left Baylee with her. I will definitely be booking stays again with Karin!”

“Todd had the best time staying with Lindsey! He was well cared for while we went on a long holiday. Had so much fun playing with the families other dogs. Came back better trained than we sent him! Will happily send our pup to stay again!”

“Kelsey is a great sitter, my Lucky is super happy to stay with her. Even after she often checks in with me about my dog. Seeing someone love a dog as much as she did is so lovely.”

About: I have had cats or dogs my whole life. I’d love to make your travel easier by caring for your beloved fur babies while you are away from home. I work from home and can rearrange my schedule during the day to stop in and take your pets out for potty breaks or a quick walk or cuddles. I don’t currently have pets in my home, so if your pets overnight here, they will have my full attention. I live in Sidney very close to walking paths and parks for walks and playtime.
“Coraline and Valentin were wonderful! Friendly, flexible, compassionate, and obviously Robby was very comfortable with them. Thank you! Hopefully we'll see you again!”

“Ting and her family were the absolute best caregivers for my golden, Fisher. She updated me daily about his adventures and it was evident that she loved him as she loves her own dog Cookie for the two weeks Fisher was with her. We have already booked two additional stays with Ting and know Fisher will be excited to go back.”

“Simply the best. always great and so accommodating. My dogs love them both. It takes all the stress out of leaving your valued pets. Thank you Malcolm and Annette”

“We left Kroshk in the care of Kelly and Natalie and were super happy. They have great strategies to introduce new dogs to their home and dogs and made our pup feel super comfortable. We received many updates of Kroshka having fun as well. I would rebook without hesitation, thank you!”

“Sheila was amazing! She bravely agreed to care for our 80lbs 7-month puppy for over two weeks. We were so hesitant to leave him for such a long period while he is so young but meeting Sheila put our concerns to rest. She is a very calm and confident animal person and provided a nice loving home to our Toby. She also went the extra mile and dropped him at ferry terminal to help us with our travel connections home after a long trip. I highly recommend Sheila.”

“Heather was great about getting back to me in a timely manner for planning last minute, and sent lots of photos of my pup for me. It looked like Dolly had a great time there and appeared to be very comfortable when i arrived to pick her up, really appreciate the help and will be using Heather again in the future!”
