About: I have had a dog or taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. Family, neighbours and friends have all relied on me to help take care of their pets for many years. I am a huge animal lover and a health care worker and will always provide the best and safest care for your pup. Recently I have fostered some dogs through a local rescue and helped them find their new home. I have learned alot about behaviours and training with these pups. We love to play in the yard or go for walks, and have lots of snuggles on the couch :) I currently work part time so have lots of time available to spend with your dog! My flexible schedule allows me to board your pet overnight any day of the week, or drop in for visits/walks. I have a fenced back yard and two small dogs to keep your fur baby company! Your dog is welcome to treat our home as their own and I will give them lots of love and be devoted to their happiness and well being while you are away.

About: I worked at my local humane society back when I lived in Ontario where I was responsible for daily enclosure cleaning/maintenance as well as keeping an eye out for any unusual or concerning conditions. I handled the animals and made sure to give them some love while I could. It wasn’t my job to do that much, but I just love animals so much and that job brought me a lot of joy. Aside from that job, I’ve handled pets most of my life. I’ve had cats, dogs, and more personally for 13 years I had a conure, and for about 7 I had a rabbit. Because of this, I’m very experienced with birds and rabbits especially! I am great with cats too, but my household does have one. She’s an old lady that sleeps mostly and if needed can easily be kept away from any other animals. At home I currently live with a cat who belongs to my sister, but I am her auntie and spend tons of time with her and look after her in ways such as helping with her inhaler, helping clip her nails, brushing, and so on. If my sister is away for any reason, she is fully under my care. I have a spare room that is pretty well empty with just a guest bed next to my room in my house, and because I live with a cat with Asthma, I try to keep all spaces (especially that room) scent free. I also have no problem staying at a client’s place for a few nights if we’ve established some comfortability and familiarity. I don’t have supplies or enclosures on my own, so all that would have to be provided by the owner.

About: I’m lucky to have two amazing dogs in my life, Luna ( a lady of a certain age! ) she belongs to my son and when she comes to me for her “holidays” we enjoy long, leisurely walks and/or a lovely swim in the ocean! And lots of cosy, curled up on the couch time. Then there’s Molly- who is a sweet golden retriever puppy belonging to my daughter. I spent a wonderful summer with Molly in tow, at just 10 weeks old, everything was new to her and delighted her. Although our walks were short, we went often and Molly made many friends in the neighbourhood! My daughter lives in the Okanagan Valley therefore, sadly I don’t get to spend nearly enough time with “our” Molly. Having said that, I do have lots of time to spend with your precious canine! I love walking and believe I would be a great companion for your dog when you can’t be there. I will strive to walk in different areas to provide visual interest to your dog and take the utmost care of him/ her at all times. I prefer on leash walks but am more than happy to play off leash games in your back yard. If your dog requires medication, I’m quite confident with that - recently Luna needed a course of injections and I was able to do that with no problems and obviously, I can feed your dog if required. At the moment I provide 2 kitties with regular overnight care and drop in visits. One of whom is diabetic & requires daily medication. I have lots of flexibility at the moment. I can offer week day and weekend service and am happy to tailor the length/ type of walk to suit your dog. I prefer to offer one on one care to deepen my bond with your dog. About: I have taken care of our own family dogs, friends and clients dogs. I love all dogs! As I am an Energy Healer, animals seem to relax in my presence. Nature and the outdoors are also my hobbies, so your dogs will get lots of fresh air and walks. I am self-employed and work part-time, often at home in Cowichan and a few times monthly in Victoria, thus my hours are flexible. Preference to sits in Duncan area and Victoria. Please note: I do Drop-ins ONLY in North Cowichan and Duncan proper. For safety purposes, homes would need to have cell service. Drop - in visits of one hour only Pet-sitting would be in your home, as I am not allowed pets where I live unfortunately. I am respectful of your home, and follow your wishes regarding care. Pets are cared for as if they were my own. Instructions are followed respectfully, and your fur babies will be in loving hands!

I can teach your pet commands, have fun playing with him and keep his safety as my own I am currently working from home from 11am till 9 pm, so I will have time for your pets. About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child. I treat animals with respect. I have little well train dog from Mexico. Learning to train her has given me more confidence to handle other dogs. I’ve foster dogs several times and loved it. Your dog will be loved well cared for ❤️ Walks are in the morning (7am-10:30) and after 3 pm. One hour long and with or without my dogs company. Depends of the preference of the other dog. I follow the instructions that the owners leave as each dog has its own routine and it’s important to keep them on that schedule. About: We are Brenden and Brooke. For the past 4 years we have been travelling and professionally stewarding properties around the world. We are commonly contracted with ranches, hobby farms, homesteads and household - some of which hold more than animal/dependant responsibility due to business operations running on the property. Over the years we have developed our service quality and specialized care as a professional couple. While traveling we organize volunteer experiences that increase our skills and knowledge in order to fulfill hosts and their animal's needs. This fuels our travels and we want to bring this lifestyle to Vancouver island as we network around the area. We pour our time an energy to the animals we are caring for, meaning we will be with them as much as possible over the course of our stay. We have lived in 10+ households with animals, with some experiences being up to 2 months. We will care for your animals as you would. We are able to carefully follow complex instructions. A bonus is that we are very active people, and if you would like your animals to get exercise, we are all about it.

My flexible schedule allows me to stay on top of feeding times, walks, playtime, and check-ins, making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I have 5 acres of space for dogs to explore and play, along with a fenced play area for safe outdoor time. I also have a friendly 2 year old lab to keep your dog company. I’m able to crate dogs if needed, depending on their routine, to make sure they feel safe and comfortable while in my care.
