About: I have had a dog or taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. Family, neighbours and friends have all relied on me to help take care of their pets for many years. I am a huge animal lover and a health care worker and will always provide the best and safest care for your pup. Recently I have fostered some dogs through a local rescue and helped them find their new home. I have learned alot about behaviours and training with these pups. We love to play in the yard or go for walks, and have lots of snuggles on the couch :) I currently work part time so have lots of time available to spend with your dog! My flexible schedule allows me to board your pet overnight any day of the week, or drop in for visits/walks. I have a fenced back yard and two small dogs to keep your fur baby company! Your dog is welcome to treat our home as their own and I will give them lots of love and be devoted to their happiness and well being while you are away.

About: I've taken care of many dogs, big and small. My dog has environmental allergies and I'm accustomed to giving medications and following a specific routine. I work from home on Monday and Friday and I am available on weekends. My dog goes for two walks per day and we walk in a safe walking area. Our home is especially good for small dogs. It has a nicely fenced back yard and a clean, comfortable space where dogs can relax and get the attention they deserve while you are away. Leaving your babies with someone you don't know can be terrifying, and to be honest, I was never able to leave my baby in a daycare - So I totally know what you are feeling right now! I will make sure they know how much they are loved, and I will always send pictures and updates to put your mind at ease! Each and every fur baby is the most special, and I always make sure they know that. My name is Hanna and animals are truly my life. I have spent my entire life spending as much time as possible with ALL types of animals. For me, growing up it was Dogs and Horses... Not only was I completely obsessed - but I was also the neighbourhood dog walker/babysitter. We lived in a fairly safe area, and most people would let their dogs have free roam. That being said, if they ever couldn't find their dogs, they were usually hanging out with 5 year old me, in my yard, or my bed. I began volunteering part time in barns and stables at the age of 7 years old. Every weekend I was taking care of all the barnyard animals, sheep, pregnant cats, injured ducks, birthing cows, nursing horses - you name it. During this time I also volunteered at the local SPCA, playing and brushing all the animals, and walking the dogs. As I grew older, I became the go-to in my neighbourhood whenever pets needed extra attention. I had two dogs on my street alone that needed regular medical support, and their owners weren't fully comfortable administering medication. One needed regular insulin injections, and one had part time subcutaneous pain management, that turned into full-time geriatric support I would help with. I was also the go-to when they couldn't take their babies on vacation with them, both in my parents house (Sorry Mom and Dad) and at their owners home. At the age of 13 I was on payroll with an elite Hunter/Jumper barn. I was part of a team that cared for 27 high performance show horses, with the most expensive horse in the barn being worth 1.2 million dollars (He happened to also be the best cuddler.) I stayed with this stable all through the rest of grade school until I went to Pharmacy school. Working with this team is still, to this day, the best working experience I have had in my life. Currently, I have the most wonderful Staffy mix, and he is truly my "soul dog". He is 8 years old and the biggest sweety pie ever, my Mother calls him "the marshmallow". We have recently signed up to be volunteers with St. John's, so that we can visit patients and eventually students who could use a dose of happiness. He loves other dogs, and kids, or anyone that will talk to him - and he will gladly share me with anyone we have in our home. I have both the passion, and the experience to give your babies not only the love they deserve, but also the care that they need while you are away, either at work or on vacation. About: I've grown up with two cats in my life for basically my whole life. Throughout the years, I've done pet sitting jobs through family friends, mostly for cats. However, I'm open to anything as all animals are equally important :) I'm in university, and I'm currently not working at the moment. I'm available any time, any day. I'm quite flexible, and even if/when a job comes around the corner I could make it work also. My two cats are indoor, and we have lots of toys to occupy them. Dealing with cat litter is like second nature, so that is easy-peasy for me. I do not have any special things that I could bring with me (ex. doggie bags or a crate), however I want to make sure that the animal is comfortable.

“Criofan was great, we were travelling from Edmonton and decided to do a last minute Whale Watching Tour. Within 5 minutes Criofan responded and we had Luna booked in to play for the day. We really appreciated the late night pick up at 10pm, was flexible for us to enjoy our time in Victoria without feeling rushed. The drive was only 20 mins, but was definitely worth the drive, huge space for Luna to run with Albert. Please note: I do Drop-ins ONLY in North Cowichan and Duncan proper. For safety purposes, homes would need to have cell service. Drop - in visits of one hour only Pet-sitting would be in your home, as I am not allowed pets where I live unfortunately. I am respectful of your home, and follow your wishes regarding care. I am currently taking time off work to do what I love, to travel and take care of dogs, cats and any pet you may have. This means I will be home with your pet to give them A LOT of one on one attention and all the care that they need. I am very active so dogs with get A LOT of walks, hiking and fun depending on energy of the dog. I have experience with dogs that are shy, have anxiety, reactive dogs, animals with medical needs & seniors I love taking photos and videos and sending daily updates to the owners and making sure they know their pet is being taken care of and in good hands. If the dog is ok with other dogs, I love taking them to fenced in dog parks if the owner is ok with that. I have experience with a lot of different breeds and all levels of energy and anxiety. A lot of dogs I care for have anxiety but I am able to allow them to feels safe and distract them with walks, toys and exercise. I'm very good at reading dogs and making sure they are comfortable and happy. I've been told I have very good energy. I've been sitting for more cats lately and love playing, petting and scratching under chin and making them trust me and purr.

I’ve always grown up surrounded by so many pets which makes me so compassionate towards every fur baby; I have a sense for dogs especially. I had a 13 year old Miniature Schnauzer/Terrier for almost 10 years who has passed on December of 2021. He was my life. Now I vicariously live through the fur babies I get to spend time with and spoil my favourite little frenchie niece! My favourite thing to do is go out and find new and exciting spots to hike on beautiful Vancouver Island. I've pet sat for a lot of family and friends when they’ve gone out of town.
