“I ended up reaching out to Maggie for a day of boarding. We were traveling in her area, and I asked if she’d take care of my pup for a few hours while we went out for my birthday dinner. Sadly, we had a last minute emergency and didn’t end up using her services. That being said, she was very kind, communicative, and flexible. I appreciated the interaction immensely, and I would reach out again in a heartbeat if we lived in the area!”

“I was delighted with Mandy, I don't speak English very well but that was not inconvenient for her I was afraid of leaving my baby with someone outside of the family, but as soon as we arrived and I saw how kind she is and how happy she was, my Golden took away my fear, She always had communication with me, she sent me photos and video that made my trip not so painful for me. when I returned to look for my baby he was happy I know that they took good care of him and I appreciate it. he already has a place to go that they love him the same as at home”

About: I’ve always had dogs at home, up to three at once! Most all raised and trained from puppy stages. I had a disabled dog recently who lost usage of her back legs and was incompetent. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. We go out after every food and water break, get lots of cuddles and extra play time!

“Lori took wonderful care of Foxy Lady, our 13 year old Corgi Terrier! Kept us up to date on how she was doing and even sent us pictures on most days! We will definitely be using Lori again. Foxy bonded with her young son. Appreciated that Lori took Foxy outside and took her on walks (which she loves!)”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I've learned to care for and love them as family. I'd be so happy to look after your fur babies! My part-time job has a very flexible schedule, so I can dedicate lots of time to your pup while you're away. I have a small, 3-year-old dog who is shy at first but very friendly, and he'd love a playmate. Plus, my dog is allowed on all the furniture, and your pup would be welcome to join in on the comfort! I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your dogs! I'm available for boarding on weekends and weekdays. I have a small, friendly dog who's a bit shy at first but warms up quickly to keep your dog company. I only crate my dog for short times when I'm out of the house.

Having to travel often for work doesn’t make it easy leaving my dog daughter behind but knowing she’s in good hands with you and close by, makes a world of a difference. “Darlene was wonderful caring for our two dogs. They had never been away from us and we didn’t know how well they would respond. Darlene was exceptional when dealing with our one dog especially because he had separation anxiety the first night but Darlene was able to make him feel secure. The fact they both still ate okay was so reassuring. She sent us regular updates and pictures which is very important in helping owners feel secure about your pets safety and comfort. It made our short vacation so much less stressful knowing our pets were in good hands. Darlene’s setup with a nice green area fully fenced in was perfect and our dogs. About: Growing up, we always had a pet in the home, and I was raised under the belief that our pets are members of the family. I have extensive experience living and caring for both dogs and cats, and I welcome the opportunity to look after your pooch or kitty! I work full-time at the Gilmer County Courthouse, but my schedule is fairly flexible throughout the week. Of course, on weekends I’m even more flexible. I usually prefer house sitting (but am open for dog walking and drop-in visits, as well as boarding) for folks and make sure to read any provided instructions multiple times!

Here’s a little bit about me… I’ve pet sat, walked pets, administered medication to many pets that require it on a day to day basis (via orally and injection), and many drop-in visits for a little over 5 years now to highly anxious, aggressive, and elderly animals. I’ve also worked it the veterinary field assisting doctors to provide hands on care to your fur baby for a little over a year now. I’m also in with the AKC. I compete with dogs in conformation, agility, dock diving, scent work, and barn hunt etc. and have been doing that for about a year with all types of breeds and sizes. I have always had a special connection with dogs and all animals for that matter and enjoy every second I can get with any of them. I look forward to doing some pet sitting or walking for you and your fur baby! I work part-time at the veterinary clinic (2 times a week for 5 hours a day) which gives me plenty of time during the week to play with your precious fur baby! I’m also a college student who has recently switched to online classes giving me even more time with your pet! I have a fenced in yard for endless potty breaks and plenty of play area!
