“Thanks for taking care of our cats when we were out. Heather sent us updates which made us miss our little cats a little less. Will definitely recommend Heather to take care of your pets.”
3. Celia R.
“Celia has petsit for me several times in the past, sometimes on short notice. She has always shown great consideration and attention to detail. I own several different pets (rats, guinea pig, cat), and she made a point to learn cleaning/feeding routines for all of them.”

About: I started a self made rehabilitation center in my parents back yard (age 14) specializing in rehabilitating and rehoming exotic birds. As most kids I’ve taken care of chickens, rodents, and of course I’ve owned cats and dogs my entire life. A few years ago I started pet sitting for family and friends. I’m from the Sierra Nevada foothills, currently in Humboldt. I have very open availability. I have no problem spending nights, or doing drop in visits. Feel free to ask me questions or concerns you may have and I’ll do my best to answer them for you. I have a fenced in back yard. Both my dogs are crate trained, but prefer cuddling me at night. I take very careful care of their diets and walk them daily mostly at the park or beach.

About: New to pet sitting but not new to animal care. Hi, I’m Jessica and have been caring for animals for over 10 years. I grew up around animals and learned to care for dogs, cats, and small mammals at an early age. Over the years I’ve cared for dozens of animals including my own pets and those of my family, friends, and neighbors. I have cared for animals from a variety of different backgrounds, and have experience providing several different aspects of care. Everything from daily feeding and clean up to administering injectable medications, I’ve handled it all. I have also spent many hours volunteering at my local animal shelters, and I currently work for a non-profit animal rescue as a kennel technician caring for up to 20 dogs at a time. Big or small I’d love to meet your furry friend and provide them care when you can’t be there. Currently pet sitting is a side job for me, and this limits my available days and hours. This being said I am looking to schedule several drop-in visits and 2-3 over nights per week. Due to the scheduling of my full-time job, I am almost always available in the evenings, and this allows me to do evening drop-ins and overnights nearly any day of the week. I like to approach animal care based on the needs of the pet and the desire of the client. Currently, I have three cats Zeke, Gizmo, and Biggie Smalls, and for my pets daily care involves a morning and evening litter box scoop, a morning and evening feeding, and about an hour of play time/ cuddle time. Other pets however require more care because every animal is different. Generally however, a drop-in visit for a dog would include cleaning any messes left by the pet, a feeding, a potty break, and play-time. Potty breaks and play-time may also involve a walk or time spent in the back yard or dog park depending on the client’s living situation. For cats, this kind of visit would include cleaning any messes left by the pet, a feeding, a litter box scoop, and some play-time depending on the personality of the cat. Overnight services are slightly more involved with me staying at the residence overnight to care for the pet(s). Care can also be adjusted to fit the needs of your pet whether that be adding medication/medical care, or caring for a senior or disabled animal. Feel free to bring up any concerns or requests when scheduling your visit.

“Sam did a great job taking care of our two kitties while we were away. We would definitely like to have him cat sit again for us in the future!”
7. Alejandro T.
“When it comes to any type of animal, Alejandro goes above and beyond to take care of them and fufill all their needs. With years of experence working at a local pet shop, Alejandro knows just about everything- from dogs to frogs. He knows specific diets, how to handle different types of breeds, training, ect. He has watched my 2 dogs for many years now, and they absolutely love him when he comes! He owns many animals himself; he owns 2 snakes, a crested gecko, 2 cats, and 2 dogs. If you are looking for somebody who will take care of your animals for whatever the occasion, I would whole heartedly recommend Alejandro! ”
8. Channing P.
“I've known Channing for about 3 years now and have had her pet sit my two Great Pyrenees! She is a very reliable, trustworthy, and kind person. She treats my two fur babes as if they're her own which means the world to me. Any questions or concerns she has had she reaches out and communicates. I would highly recommend Channing for any of your pet sitting needs! :)”

About: I take care of many dogs and have had them at my house or stay at their owner’s house. Either way I am very comfortable with. I am currently not working and have lots of love and time for your fur babies. Dogs bring me a lot of joy. I also really love walking so I can exercise your dogs anytime. I have a fenced yard and lots of space for animals. I also have a corral if the dog needs to be locked us at night.

“Audrey, Was very attentive to my dog and made a point of connecting with her first thing. Will use again.”
15. Melissa & Alan G.
“Melissa was great! She followed through and communicated very well upon each visit with comments and photos. My cat runs away from strangers, and upon meeting him, she immediately sat down to appear less threatening. He stopped and watched her. She is adaptable and intuitively knows how to be with animals.”
16. Sofia F.
“Sofia is one of the people I trust most with all my animals. She is very educated on the needs of animals and compassionate about their care. In addition to being a responsible loving caregiver, Sofia is able to connect with animals in a way that others may not. Animals love her just as much as she loves them! I would recommend trusting the care of your dog with Sofia as I have many times over.”
17. Karen B.
“Karen did a great job feeding and playing with our kitties! We loved seeing the daily pictures while we were on our trip, thank you!”
