“Julia has dog sit for me multiple times. One particular time, she stayed with my dog for a whole week while I was on vacation. She provided exceptional care for my sweet pup. Every day I was gone she would send me pictures and give me updates on how he was doing. My dog gets excited every time he sees her and she makes sure to spend extra time petting him and playing with him outside of her required duties...walking, feeding, etc. I have seen her interact with my dog as well as other animals, and I can tell she genuinely has a love for animals, and animals have a love for her. I would trust her with my dog any day and know that she would go above and beyond. Julia is the first person I ask when I need help with my pup. She is an excellent communicator and is very flexible. I would recommend Julia in a heartbeat, she is wonderful!”

About: Hi, my name is Lauren. I love animals of all types and sizes. I grew up in Virginia with a variety of critters. I have four rescue pups (including a paralyzed girl so I am able to express if needed), chickens, ducks, fish, and a turtle. I have experience working with all breeds of dogs along with a variety of other animals. Willing to watch dogs/farm animals/birds/cats/fish - you name it! I don't add extra per animal fees unless the work is very excessive. I am a farmer so I have a flexible schedule. I will ensure that your pets are treated with love and care while you are away, so that you can have a worry free, relaxing trip. If desired, I can update you daily with a text or photos. Your pets (and I) will have fun while you are away! I am a farmer so my schedule is generally pretty flexible. I am usually available morning, afternoon, and evening. I am available on most weekends. I generally do not bring dogs to my home. But if needed, I have ample space and outdoor areas. The dog could mingle with pets, or I could provide a separate space.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I could feed myself. I grew up with 3 dogs and spent most of my time playing with them and caring for them. I now have a dog of my own, Bentley, a labradoodle who I love with my whole heart. I will treat your fur babies like my own and ensure they get the love and care they deserve! I’m currently enrolled at JMU as a student but have a very flexible schedule. Over half of my classes are online so I have plenty of time. I can care all day on the weekends and after 12-2pm Monday through Friday. I am also available early mornings before 8-9 am. I walk my dog at least 5-6 times a day for at least 15-20 minutes. I make sure he has time to run and play. I will treat your pups the same and make sure they get all their energy out and have fun.

About: I have cared from all dogs and cats from puppies to elderly. I have worked with crate training and other forms of training. I have also worked with high drive and working breeds such as border collies. I am currently a full-time work from home employee allowing me to have plenty of time to take care of all of my animals from there food to play needs. I have a fenced in yard in a friendly suburb. All of my animals are super friendly to any new fur babies. They love to share their toys as well!
