“Dawn was absolutely amazing with our pups and treated our home like it was her own. She is such a loving and caring person and our dogs could tell from the minute she walked in. The pups are so used to being with someone all day (we work from home) and throughout the stay she was always playing with them or giving them snuggles. I think they hardly noticed we left. Ha. She kept us up to date on everything they were doing, sent videos and pictures constantly! She is responsible and smart and we never worried for one second- that is priceless. I cannot wait to have Dawn back with our babies!”

About: I believe pets are part of the family and should be treated that way. I have had many pets and love their companionship and have also included them in my daily routine I’m currently unemployed after 34 years with the same employer, I am dependable and experienced as evidenced by the amount of dedicated service to my former employer. I am responsible and really enjoy the outdoors and including my dog in daily activities outside We walk our German Shepherd daily and play with her in the yard. I have 2 cats as well that love to cuddle . We spoil them!

About: I am an MSW student and small business owner who has been in Luzerne County for a little over two years. As a pet owner, I know how stressful it can be to leave your furry family members behind when you're away. I bring over 30 years of pet ownership experience with me when I come to care for your pets. I love hiking and exploring the outdoors and also love a day on the couch watching movies. I have issues hitting a 10 mile trail with an energetic dog or spending the day watching Star Wars with a docile cat. I have a dog and a cat of my own and nothing in the world makes me happier than spending time with them. I am excited to bring the same energy to your dogs and cats! I am open and available and have a very flexible schedule. Currently working a 9-5, Monday through Friday, but can work remote when needed. As of June of 2024 I will be leaving my current role to focus on pet care and to on my business. I am basically available 24/7. I understand how tough it can be to invite a stranger into your home to care for your pets. As a pet owner myself, my aim is to follow your precise instructions and make sure all of your pet's needs are met. My dog is getting up there in age and requires daily oral medication. She also isn't a fan of taking her pills. I am no stranger to coming up with inventive ways of getting my pets to take their medicine.

“I have a very energetic Golden Retriever who needs a lot of attention. Amelia went out of her way to provide care for him on her lunch breaks while I was working and out of town on the weekends. She often took him to local dog parks and on hikes. After those adventures, she would make sure he was cleaned off before bringing him back home. There was never a time Amelia could not help me out, I would highly recommend Amelia to anyone looking for a responsible and loving pet caregiver!”

About: I’ve loved animals since I have little. I had 4 dogs growing up and now have three of my own. I love working with all breeds. I have a German Shepard, a cavachon and a poodle mix. I am currently home full time. I can be available for you for baby whenever it is needed. I have open availability and am looking forward to working with you! I have a fenced in yard and three dogs that are animal friendly. We allow animals on our furniture and to sleep in bed with us. We are an animal loving family and will treat your pet like our own.

“Nicole was available in short notice to house sit my three dogs. They can be wild at times and she kept them calm. Nicole updated me multiple times throughout the day and took wonderful care of my babies. I would definitely recommend her. I didn’t have to worry while she was caring for them.”
