“Shanna is great. She has been patient and collaborative in planning for my Roxie's care. We had a meet and greet, then a short daycare stay, then a full day of daycare. She is well versed in dog behavior. My dog, coincidentally a "pitbull type" is often categorized and judged as "vicious or aggressive" even before people meet her. I've had dog sitters on Rover decline to provide services simply because of her breed or her appearance. Shanna understands that Roxie is a dog: a dog with her own level of prey drive (so Roxie is not allowed in her daughter's room cause of the hamster she has); a dog with some anxiety who barked at her husband when he came into the house. They didn't freak out. Shanna understood Roxie's behavior and worked through it, allowing Roxie to get to know her husband, settle and move on. I truly appreciate her family's openness and acceptance. We have two more full days of daycare booked and if all continues well, we will book boarding services. Roxie is people and dog friendly, but the discrimination we have experienced on Rover, leads me to take things in a new daycare/boarding situation slowly. Shanna has been very reassuring and understanding. throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend her.”

“I am happy I found Jill and Liz to take care of my fur baby. Jill and Liz have been so wonderful in caring for my fur baby. They report every few hours how my dog is doing with pictures and I love Jill's report cards at the end of the day. Working 3 jobs makes it really hard to keep my dog active. I feel weekends are not enough for my dog and I'm very thankful that Jill and Liz keep her active with other furry friends. My furbaby was very shy at first and now she loves to run up to Jill and Liz's house and is ready to join the fun! “This was my first time using Rover. Ana was sweet and nice to Oakley. She has a nice calm and inviting environment. Oakley always gets very nervous. She sent me pictures to show me how Oakley was doing. I could tell he was getting comfortable. Oakley also seemed more calm after coming home than he would when he come home from the big doggy hotel. “Barbara was very nice and took really good care of my dog, Butter. My dog has anxiety around bigger dogs, so for us, this was a perfect match. Even with her two smaller dogs, Barbara paid extra attention and had lots of caution in making sure that my dog felt comfortable being in her home and around her dogs. After our initial meet and greet, my dog didn’t even wait for me to say goodbye— He was so excited to be there that he ran inside when I dropped him off! “Highly recommend her! My family and I always worry on who we leave our dog with, we try to look for the best person that can fit oreo. She was very nice and did send me many photos of him while on his stay. My family and I know when our dog feels sacred of the person, and when she sended us photos our dog looked happy and relaxed. And especially her doggos who are also very nice. I know for sure my dog enjoyed his stayed there!”

My pups booking was last minute and I couldn’t find no one, I came across her page, she was my last hope. She thankfully said Yes! She is very kind and my pup was not scared to be around her. About: have pet sat a neighbors dog for 3 days in the 6th grade also help take care of my gma who had Alzheimer's for 8 years Caregiver since 9/1/2017 to 11/19/23 My mom just passed away on November 19th and I literally lost my job when that happened so I'm gonna do this rover thing best I can id love to meet u and your dog anytime please let me help your life in general thank u for your time also :) also I walk rather frequently in the area and would love to walk your dog in this town of Bakersfield so they can come back to a relaxing environment at your home or if u need to have them stay at my place for a bit let me know. i would want a gate up near a pool no matter what area also if their were children around always like to make sure the dog bowls are nice and clean not dirty also change the food out as well. as if us people had to eat out it clean
