About: Hi there! I'm Reece and I've been worked professionally in the pet care field for just over 6 years. I have worked at and managed multiple doggy daycares and boarding facilities across the Black Hills and in 2022, took the leap into veterinary medicine. I have cared for everything from young puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. I can administer medications and/or insulin as needed. Safety, comfort, and cleanliness are my biggest priorities when it comes to pet care. Whether your pup needs a fun-filled daycare day or a slow-paced day with glucose monitoring, I'm your gal! I currently work at a veterinary clinic here in Rapid City Mondays thru Wednesdays. I'm typically available for pet care Thursdays thru Saturdays, and Sundays after 11am. At my home, dogs will be cared for and loved as if they were my own. I can provide meals and medications whenever necessary. Your pup(s) will have access to our 1/3 acre fenced-in backyard and the first floor of our home. Your dogs are welcome to interact with my personal dogs with proof of up-to-date vaccinations including Rabies, DAPP/DHPP, and bordetella. I provide plenty of activities throughout the day with toys, snuffle mats, lick pads etc and a nap time after lunch. Tours are welcome! During drop-in visits at your home, I try to mimic your pup's normal routine as much as possible. I plan to feed meals when you usually would, administer medications when they'd usually receive them, and go on outtings when they usually would. Whether you crate your pup or let them roam, it's no problem for me! I believe that maintaining a familiar routine is a great way to keep them comfortable while their family is away.
