“Ashley was very helpful when looking after my 4 cats, one of which has special needs due to age requiring medication and cleaning up after her. This was not a problem for Ashley despite the yuckiness! She even came back after her visit to see if one of the cats had turned up after apparently going missing! Very much appreciated, great service. I also received lots of photos and a couple of videos as well, which was lovely.”

She was truly loved and cared for, she had so many cuddles and was allowed to snuggle with Hannah whilst Hannah did some work. We’ve recently lost our little boy dog Fed, Roxie has been feeling a little sad and more nervous so we were a little reluctant about leaving her with a stranger. We have been visiting Pembrokeshire and wanted a couple of days to do some things whereby dogs were not allowed, so we came across Rover and found James and Hannah with great reviews and couldn’t be more pleased and grateful. About: Hi, I’m Ashley 🌻 I’m a full time dog walker covering Haverfordwest and the surrounding areas. I’ve always had a deep love for dogs (and all animals in general), and I share my life with my 12 year old dog and 4 year old cat who mean the world to me. I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs and cats, also through volunteering at Greenacres Rescue and Many tears animal rescue, as well as running my own pet care business. I also grew up surrounded by animals, so I have a strong understanding of their needs, behaviour, and body language. I have worked with animals all my life on my family dairy farm. I love being around animals and any excuse to go outdoors. I'm very loving towards animals and happy to give you text updates of what your pets up to. I live on a farm and we have no pets so I miss being around them. I'm very active and love a good reason to be active. I'm a very laid back person and very good with instructions for any special needs for your pet. I did 6 months of pet-sitting around the UK, Canada and the US in 2024. I sat 19 pets across 11 sits and had the absolute best time! I work on my family farm, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I'll only be outside for a couple of hours at a time and depending on the pet they could even come with me, if it's something they could handle. Our home is very safe and large with lots of space for your pet to chill. We have good cabinets that are hard to get into and keep the majority of our food in the pantry which is closed off. The farm has cows, bulls and some farm cats.

About: I have previous experience volunteering at greenaces animal rescue centre in Pembrokeshire, this involved walking, feeding and socialising with the rescue dogs, some with anxiety. Growing up I also had 2 cats and a dog. Family dog is 15, is now an elderly border terrier and lives with my parents as I have now moved out. My parents work full time so I often look after him at my place, however he would stay at my grandparents house if I was to be pet sitting. Other family members also have pets and I have casually dog sat neighbours dogs in the past as well.

About: I've had dogs all my life and work part time now at a local dog boarding kennels, so well equipped with the knowledge needed to properly look after your dog. I am dog first aid trained, and am used to giving all kinds of medications, so if your dog has any medical issues thats no problem for me at all. I offer a pick up and drop off service, and can also offer a discount on my dog toys that I make that are 100% safe for dogs, no abhorrent stuffing here. I'm currently working part time so have plenty of time to play with your pup. There is someone at the address at all times. I'm available every Thursday but am on a 3 week rolling rota so other days will change. I have a large fenced in garden which is split into two parts so if your dog isn't particularly friendly i can keep them in a separate half. I have 3 friendly dogs of my own so plenty of company for your pet if they are friendly and 2 chickens in their own fenced off area that the dogs can stare at. It's my collies favourite past time.

I have worked in a grooming parlour and have showed dogs at championship shows including crufts. I have experience with many breeds of dogs I showed Salukis and have owned cavalier King Charles spaniels, Jack Russell’s and now a Border Collie & a Cockapoo. Your dog will be looked after alongside my own dogs Toby and Bentley, we will go out for walks either down the field or to the beach or woods. I also sometimes hire our local enrichment and agility park. I feed natural home made treats from our local pet bakery. I am competent in giving medications or supplements as directed. I will feed your own food that you must supply at meal times you request. I am also DBS checked due to my work as a hospice nurse. My dogs are part of the family and your dogs will be treated the same. I have lots of time and lots of love to give. I have plenty of time to give your dog lots of love and attention. Let me know your dogs needs and if they are reactive to anything. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs, my boys sleep in my bed so yours will have the lounge room to themselves.
