Marley had a little stay overnight with Jaco earlier in the year which had really set our mind at ease. Marley was with Jaco's family this time for just under 2 weeks. Though we missed him so much, it made such a difference getting Jaco's updates and messages complete with lots of photos. We could see he was getting lots of love and attention - and lovely rural walks too! It was a tremendous relief and gave us such peace of mind. About: We have over 30 years of experience in having and loving dogs. We have an older dog of our own who is very friendly and loves company on his walks. I am semi retired and have plenty of time to walk and exercise your dog. Our home backs on to a lovely lake and open spaces. Our older dog Ozzie is very laid back and usually curls himself around me on our sofa. Your dog will be treated had part of our family and given a lot of love and attention. If they want to snuggle on the sofa that is absolutely fine with me. My husband will also give your dog an early morning walk if they are partial to that. We have a garden which is fenced off and we also have a dog flap so if I have popped out your dog will not have to wait to be let out for his or her toilet breaks. About: I’ve been a veterinary nurse for over 8 years, working with cats and dogs of all different breeds and sizes. I’m comfortable administering medication and caring for both seniors and puppies. Having taken a short break from clinical work to go travelling I miss my furry friends and would love the opportunity to get to know yours! I’m currently taking a break from working having returned from a few months of travelling so I’m available to walk and play with your pets at a time that suits you best. I have two lovely cats of my own, but this means unfortunately I cannot have your pets over for a sleepover. But I love visiting pets in their own space and keeping them company. Having a stranger in your home can be daunting so I’m always respectful of any rules you have in place!
About: Both my partner and I have owned and cared for dogs and cats since we were kids. Always dog sit for family and friends. Go for frequent walks in the countryside and have our own vehicle to transport dogs to and from walks with business insurance. I bathe and feed my mother’s dogs regularly and walk them with my partner around the fields of our home. I work full time mostly from home with the occasional in person meeting and off on weekends so am free around these times for anything needed. I am not normally gone for more than 4 hours however if it is longer my partner also sometimes works from home so with enough notice he can be there If your dog is house trained I can care for them at my home however I can also care for your loved pets in their own home and am able to collect from their home and take them for walks or drop in to feed and play with them for a few hours where needed. We trained guide dogs as a family when I was young and I regularly look after friends and neighbours pets. We want your pets to be safe and happy in our care so will require some information from you to ensure that your dog has the best time possible and that our house is prepped and suitable for your dogs requirements. If there are any requests then please don't hesitate to let us know. We will try to accommodate the best we can. This is unlike a kennel setting, just your dog going from one home to another, prepared for hours of belly tickles. I currently am at home apart from the school run. My daughter goes to school and my partner works hybrid so is also home a few days a week so what better way to spend my lonely free time than getting my fitness up and making furry friends. I have a fair sized garden that is fenced off. I can also crate your dog if this is preferred. I am willing to take all precautions to ensure your dog is in safe hands. My mums dog is an escape artist and I am now a professional at having eyes on the back of my head
About: I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes from puppy to senior dogs, I work from home every day of the week (my partner works from home 2 days a week) so your pet will have plenty of attention! I also live within walking distance of basing woods and a lovely field used by plenty of dog walkers Currently working full time but available every week day evenings and weekend. My home has a large field and walled garden as well as lots of countryside walks. if you have other animals such as cats, birds farm animals or small companion mammals I can also take care of these. Before booking it is essential I meet you to discuss your needs and tell your package and then you know your animals are in safe hands. Currently I only offer weekend care for your pets as I work as an animal care teacher in a local secondary school. From the 20th July I will be full time. I love animals and have spent my whole life around them. I have two beautiful dogs, Loulou an English Springer spaniel who is our school therapy dog and Mabel a one year old German Shorthaired Pointer. I have need grooming dogs for three years and offer this as an additional service at very reasonable rates. My home is completely secure and dogs have access to a large walled garden and a one acre field which are secure. I have an enhanced DBS certificate. Whilst your pet is with me you can be certain they will not be left on their own and will be walked and played with regularly throughout the day.
“Thank you so much to Jaco and his family for looking after Marley whilst we were away on a first holiday away from him!. Marley had a little stay overnight with Jaco earlier in the year which had really set our mind at ease. Marley was with Jaco's family this time for just under 2 weeks. Though we missed him so much, it made such a difference getting Jaco's updates and messages complete with lots of photos. We could see he was getting lots of love and attention - and lovely rural walks too! It was a tremendous relief and gave us such peace of mind. About: I have a degree in animal management and I have been a genuine dog lover since I was a tiny child! I have two dogs of my own, a beautiful Irish Setter and a Cocker Spaniel. I work from home 4 days a week and love to walk in the countryside where I live. I am able to do up to three walks a day and while I’m at home boarders will have access to a generous fenced garden. Boarders will sleep and be fed separately to my dogs to prevent any issues and can be walked separately if required. I work predominantly from home Tues-Friday and typically do a walk in the morning before breakfast, a walk at lunchtime if the weather is not excessively hot (rain doesn’t bother us!) and a walk in the evening before dinner. Dogs are given access to the garden during the day when I am home to supervise. On Mondays dogs are left between 8:30 and 3pm but are walked before I leave and upon my return. Boarders will be kept apart from my own dogs when unsupervised. I have a fenced garden that has proved secure for both of my dogs. Both my dogs are friendly, dog-social and are up to date on their flea, tick, worming and vaccinations. I have two young children who are used to interacting with dogs however children and dogs are never left alone unsupervised or allowed to play without adult assistance. Boarding dogs are always fed and sleep separately to my own dogs.
