Qi was quick to contact me when he appeared to have a limp and was reluctant to go down the stairs but after letting her know that Archie was in fact putting on the limp for attention, she was put at ease. I left Archie with Qi on bonfire night and she was brilliant in comforting him with the loud noises. We had a few laughs about Archie's antics for attention and Qi sent some lovely pictures of Archie with herself and her husband. When I collected Archie, it was clear that he had been very happy with Qi and her husband and they expressed how much they had loved having him to stay. I will definitely ask Qi and her husband to have Archie again and they have asked to look after him again. Thankyou Qi I am so greatful to you and your husband.”

About: We (my husband James and I) can offer a truly home from home experience and host solo dogs if preferred as we no longer have our own pets. We are huge dog lovers and have owned dogs since 2010 but our last one passed in Autumn 25. We love having dog guests to stay and they are treated like a part of the family. Over the past 5 years we have had repeat visits from a Rottweiler, Husky, Boxer and a pair of lovely Spaniels. Between James and I, one of us will always be able to be at home when we have a dog guest as we work flexibly. We are an active family and have countryside walks right outside our door so we are happy to take our dog guests out for fun walks in fields and forests! We have a decent sized secure garden with 6 ft wooden fences. We will happily work with dog owners to understand the routines which work for the dog to support and help them to settle with us.

About: Both my partner and I have owned and cared for dogs and cats since we were kids. Always dog sit for family and friends. Go for frequent walks in the countryside and have our own vehicle to transport dogs to and from walks with business insurance. I bathe and feed my mother’s dogs regularly and walk them with my partner around the fields of our home. I work full time mostly from home with the occasional in person meeting and off on weekends so am free around these times for anything needed. I am not normally gone for more than 4 hours however if it is longer my partner also sometimes works from home so with enough notice he can be there If your dog is house trained I can care for them at my home however I can also care for your loved pets in their own home and am able to collect from their home and take them for walks or drop in to feed and play with them for a few hours where needed. I am also able to stay overnight if required.

About: I have looked after many breeds of dogs from jack Russel size to a 32kg energetic labradoodle. I have my own 18 month old cockapoo, and have also attended puppy school with him. The labradoodle I look after requires daily medication, and can be reactive towards certain dogs. I have known him since he was a puppy and love taking him out for walks and playtime. “Sharon responded very promptly and we organised a meet and great the next day. Hugo was very much at home as soon as he arrived, and during his week long stay we could see that he was very happy and was getting plenty of good walks, as per the very regular photos that Sharon sent ! When I picked him up, you could see that a lovely bond had developed with Sharon and her family, so he had clearly been loved and cared for very well. We will definitely be booking with Sharon again! She was most efficient with her organization, took pains to get to know him beforehand and sent us lots of pictures and messages about how he was getting on. She was happy to administer his eye ointment and gave him several walks. He came back full of beans and had obviously been well looked after. “She took such wonderful care of Odin and really went above and beyond. With the heatwave, she even woke up early to make sure he could have his walk before it became too hot, and followed all of his care instructions diligently. I left Odin with her for two nights and a day while I was away for work, and when I picked him up, he was happy and completely himself — as though I’d never been away! It was really reassuring knowing he was so well looked after. I’d happily leave Odin in her care again. 😊”

“Absolutely 5 stars ! From the very first contact, through the meet and greet, and right up to collection. Aston's knowledge of dogs and the way he manages his own pack is genuinely impressive. With two different breeds under his roof already, plus our Frenchie, a completely different breed again, his pack is well-balanced, patient, and remarkably tolerant. Our Frenchie has little sense of personal space as she is a velcro dog, and can easily get excitable, which can be too much for some dogs, but his dogs handled her with such calm and warmth that our dog made herself at home from day one. Beyond just providing a safe and caring environment, Aston gave our dog a wonderful opportunity to learn from a well-run pack — a pack that radiates positivity and happiness under Aston's lead — something especially valuable for an only dog like ours. Throughout the stay, he observed the dogs closely, read their behaviour with a keen eye, and sent us detailed, thoughtful updates. He didn't miss a thing our dog was communicating and kindly made sure she was settled, secure, and genuinely enjoying herself. We came away not just relieved, but truly impressed. His knowledge, attentiveness, and genuine love for dogs shine through in everything he does. We can't recommend Aston highly enough to any dog owner and would love to ask him to look after our dog again.”
