About: We are a semi retired couple and our beloved black Labrador left us a few years ago. We love dogs and have the time to provide a temporary home - all dogs welcome. We have a big detached house with a secure garden. Our friends all have dogs and regularly call on us to dog sit. We are both mainly retired so have plenty of time on our hands to look after a dog (our adult kids are also dog lovers and would probably come home just to help out. We don’t really have a fixed routine so can provide flexibility if we are around. We are however on holiday a lot so can’t always be always be available. We have a big detached house with a secure garden. If you have a crate you are welcome to provide this alternatively we can throw down a dog bed in a choice of rooms. We have a footpath right outside our front door leading to many adventures.

“My second time using Patricia and it was just as great as the first time. She took baby absolutely everywhere with her including pilates and lunch with the girls. She also sends lots of photos and videos. Highly recommend xxx”

“Holly and her family were fantastic at looking after Clara for me overnight. I received frequent updates and photos and could tell she was being well cared for and loved. I will 100% use Holly again, she's very trustworthy and friendly”

“Ana looked after our dog. She is very friendly and provided regular updates and photos. She took our dog for walks three times a day and I would highly recommend using her pet sitting service. Thank you so much for looking so well after our pet.”

About: I always lived with dogs and cats. I love them with all my heart and I can even say that they are my passion. They are our best friends. I am working from home, so I can take care of your dog during the whole day, I also have my 5 years old dog who loves walks in the forest of East Grinstead so your dog would be perfectly happy to join us ! I have a big secured garden that my dog loves, he has everything he needs but I like to take care of his food too, not too many treats :)
“I was a bit worried about leaving my little Alfie as he hasn't stayed at anyone else's home yet. Roksolanawas so kind and welcomed him with open arms. Alfie had a lovely time and seemed very happy when I picked him up.”

About: My first word was Jas, our dogs name, a fact my mother frequently reminds me of. We then had Toby, a Golden Retriever who helped me learn to walk by allowing me to pull myself up using his ruff. Over the years my immediate family has had many pets and at one point we had 2 dogs, 5 cats, 9 Guinea pigs & 2 rabbits. As well as 3 children. Then there were the rats, Zippy,Bungle & George. So I have experience caring for a wide variety of fur babies. It’s been 15 years since I’ve had my own dog and now it’s just the cat & me. My eldest daughter (who lives abroad) has 6 dogs, 2 cats, 2 chinchillas, 2 ducks & 15 chickens. When I visit her there’s always a 4 legged furry who wants to play or is happy to cuddle. My younger daughter and my son have one dog each and as they both live in the UK I’m regularly asked to dog sit. My brother lives quite close by so I am lucky enough to have time with his adorable, ball crazy Sprocker. I am retired and recently widowed so am flexible with my availability. I have an elderly mother who lives nearby & I visit her several days a week for an hour or so. She too loves dogs & would be happy for me to take my new friends to visit her. I have a good size, secure garden to play in. I have an elderly cat who doesn’t like dogs but fortunately it is easy to segregate him to one part of the house. This works well when my grand dogs come to stay. I don’t drive so all walks would be on the lead road walks but the garden is a great place to play ball. I’m happy to dog walk or feed/cuddle/brush cats/ Guinea pigs/rabbits that live within reasonable walk (or bus ride) from my home.
“Absolutely wonderful! Anya is a true dog lover, and made Olga feel right at home. I got regular updates and photographs of Olga out and about, snuggling in Anya’s bed, and huddled together on the couch with the family. Would recommend 100%, and will definitely be sending Olga there again”

“Jessica was fantastic and Teddy was so at home at her house. I was nervous as this was my first time using a sitter but would recommend Jessica again. She kept me informed throughout Ted’s stay to reassure me. Thanks so much Jessica! X”
“My Cocker Spaniel Nala had her first sleepover with Liam before her pending holiday to see how they both got on together. Well, I needn’t had worried because Nala soon made herself at home & became attached to Liam & his lovely girlfriend Sarah. Liam updated me regularly with photos & messages (very spoiled sleeping on the sofa & Liams lap) as he knew I was a little anxious leaving her for the first time but Nala settled in very quickly & had a fantastic time with a lovely trip to Dunorlan Park. Nala is back tomorrow for a 10 day holiday and I know she will be very well cared for & have the best time! I have no hesitation in recommending Liam to pet sit your beloved dogs.”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and owner of a big, very lovable Labrador, so I know just how much our dogs are part of the family. I’m confident with larger dogs, enthusiastic walkers and those who are particularly enthusiastic about food! I’m calm, sensible and reliable, and very happy getting out for a proper walk rather than simply doing a quick lap around the block. Most importantly, I know how much trust is involved in leaving your dog with somebody else. I’ll look after your dog as I’d want someone to look after mine, with plenty of attention, affection and reassurance, and I’m always happy to keep you updated while they’re with me. I have two cats so any dog coming to stay needs to be on good terms with cats and does not chew furniture! I work from home, so dogs can fit very naturally into my day. They’ll have company throughout the day, access to the garden and a proper lunchtime walk, usually in one of the two parks close to my home. My own Labrador is always around too, so there’s plenty of opportunity for play, company and snoozing afterwards. I have a safe, fully fenced grassed garden and a friendly five-year-old Labrador who loves having company. Dogs are welcome to make themselves at home and will be treated as part of the family while they’re here. I’ll follow your usual routines around feeding, walks and rest, and I’m very happy to accommodate individual needs. I would always want our dogs to meet first to make sure they’re comfortable together before their first stay.
“Our dog Mac is very anxious, but Angus proved to be the perfect person to look after him. Together with Zoe, he looked after Mac with great patience and calmness and kept us really well informed about how Mac was settling in. Can’t recommend Angus highly enough and will be returning to him with Mac soon.”

About: We’re a large, friendly family with 4 children and our fluffy Cavapoo, Arlo, aged 3.5. He loves to have a playmate! Philippa works from home and Elisa is a teacher so we’re both around during school holidays. Large house and secure garden, big enough to run around in. We live on the Worth Way, East Grinstead, so 3-5 mile countryside walks are on our doorstep, and part of our daily routine. Can also accommodate shorter walks for dogs who need less exercise than Arlo! Our children split their time between us and their other parents, so there are days when we have an adult-only house if your dog prefers grown-up company. Philippa works flexibility from home with regular breaks for dog-care during the day. Depending on daylight and weather, each day includes a 3-5 mile walk and plenty of free time for dogs in the garden. Our dog sits at Philippa’s feet while she working, and other dogs are free to do the same, or find a comfy spot elsewhere downstairs. School runs between East Grinstead and Tunbridge Wells: between 7.15 and 8.30am, and 3.30 and 5.30 can be used to collect/drop off other dogs if the location works. Weekends are busy with children’s hobbies but an adult is usually at home and we’re happy to take other dogs out with us where we can. Arlo enjoys the company of other dogs. We have a secure back garden and astro turf so that dogs (and kids) can enjoy the garden all year round - mud free! Arlo sleeps in an open crate downstairs in the office overnight, but we can accommodate other dogs’ sleeping preferences, although we would prefer not to have them in our bedroom. We have an internal front porch, which means we can open the front door without worrying about Arlo and other dogs escaping on to the main road. Arlo is walked both on and off the lead, but we would follow owners’ wishes about walking. While our children might be present while we take care of your dog, they won’t be responsible for your dog’s care.
“Incredibly loving family. Our dog had the grearest time. Nelso is so attentive and treats our pup like his own. Best sitter we have ever had. We will 100% use them again.”

“Jamie looked after our 5 month old puppy, Bruno. First time for us using Rover and we couldn’t be more happy. Got lots of updates of Bruno and George playing. George is such a sweet natured boy, specially to put up with a puppy boxer dog. Thank you! Already booked again :)”

“Georgina provided a wonderful home away from home for our cockapoo Bailey whilst we were on holiday. He settled with her so well and we returned to a happy well cared for dog. Georgina was super prompt with messaging, and general communication prior to Bailey’s stay, and kept in regular contact whilst we were away, sending photos and videos, which was so reassuring for us. I will definitely use Georgina again, and can’t recommend her enough. We feel lucky to have found her!”

“Monty had a lovely 6 days with Miriam and family. We loved getting the regular photo updates. When we picked him up, Monty had clearly had a very enjoyable time and been very well looked after. Highly recommended.”

“Alex was so helpful and clearly is very knowledgeable about and loves dogs. She kept us updated daily and our dog seemed very happy after his stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to have him stay again -thank you.”

“This is the second time Chloe has looked after Purdey, Gizmo and our little cottage. As per last time, communication before and during her stay was fantastic. I received lots of pics over our long weekend and we came home to very happy and relaxed cats and a spotless house - as if she had never been there. Highly recommend Chloe and will definitely have her to stay on our next break. Thank you Chloe! From Purdey and Gizmo (and us humans too)”

About: Hi, I love getting out and about and going on long woodland or forest walks with a furry friend. I weekly help look after my sisters cocker spaniel and he stays with me occasionally when she needs overnight care for him. Would love a dog of my own but I work to much at the moment, so I’d love to help look after others. I’m a self employed hairdresser, I work 9-5 most days but can be flexible to help look after your fury friend as I work for myself. When those quiet months come along I can up the days that I can do boarding or walks etc so it’s always worth asking me for extra days and I can see if it fits in around my working schedule. I always have Wednesdays off and Sundays so these days are guaranteed for pet care. My garden is fully fenced in so there absolutely no chance you’re fury friend can make a break for it. I keep my home and garden very tidy and make sure i leave nothing in the floors to harm your pets.
“I felt completely at ease leaving Archie with Georgina. She was great at communicating prior to the day and she sent me loads of photos during his visit. Archie got on well with Milo too.”

“Olivia looked after my lab Brody for the day at very short notice. When I dropped him off Brody RAN towards her, so I knew he’d be in good hands. Trip out for lunch, a walk in the woods with his new friend Nala and plenty of playtime. Brody was a very happy boy when I picked him up. Olivia shared lots of pictures and updates and I can’t thank her enough. Will definitely be in touch next time :) thank you!”

“Jen and her family are stars! Ottie is clearly looked after so well, as if she's Jen's own dog. You can tell ottie feels safe and relaxed from how she pulls up Jen's road whenever we walk past! Thank you Jen!”

About: Having grown-up with dogs and cats, I’ve always had a love and respect for animals. During my university and early work years, I regularly house-sat for friends and colleagues, looking after a range of dog sizes - from Yorkies through to Rhodesian Ridgebacks. During my 10 years living in the Middle East, I was an active volunteer at both Sharjah Cat & Dog Shelter and Canine Friends - the latter where I was responsible for the rehabilitation of dogs that had suffered significant trauma. Since moving to the UK in 2022, I have frequently walked and hosted our neighbours dogs. I work from home 3-days a week and that affords me the flexibility to either work from my own residence or in the pets home. I love being active and exercise plays a big part of my life - therefore always happy to take out some four-legged friends rain, hail or shine. I live in a fully-fenced and secure home - and your dog would always remain on the ground floor and within eyesight at all times. Likewise when sitting in the pets home, I like to work closely with both the dog and owner in gaining a rapport and friendship.

About: I have my own dog, Truffle, who is nearly four. Prior to that I dog sat for friends and on Rover for several years. I’ve looked after dogs of all age and sizes. I also grew up with cats and have a cat (Clarence). I am looking to get out the house more as I work from home most of the time and only moved to Tunbridge wells last year - typically I wouldn’t bring truffle as she doesn’t always get on with new dogs but perhaps with the right ones I could also be available to take them on our lunch walk. Truff has had some behaviour issues with barrier reactivity that we’ve been working on so I definitely understand how to adapt to different dogs needs and have become quite adept at reading their body language. Please message - I’m happy to share any additional info and to be flexible around your needs (although my lunch walk is reserved for Truff so ideally would be mornings and evenings to start and then happy to introduce lunch for the right match) :) I am mostly looking to do walks and drop ins which I would do without truffle but also open to doggy day care for calm dogs as truffle usually adapts pretty well when she learns that another dog isn’t a threat (we would keep Clarence seperate and truffle can get on with most dogs usually smaller ones) I work from home (except for two days each month). We usually go for our walks between 11-1300. We go for an average of 45 mins with a mixture of sniffs, training and playing. I would be able to Come before 9 or after 5 to take your pupper out for similar adventures or to drop in and give attention and anything they need. I am very neat and tidy and would treat your home as if it were my own just before visitors are arriving (if you knew me you’d understand this is the highest standard!). I am also a strong communicator and always ensure the plan is clear
“Liam was brilliant during our doggy daycare today! He has been professional and responded quickly to messages on the lead up. During the daycare, he was flexible and kept us well-informed of Roman’s fun packed day. Roman got a chance to socialise with other dogs on a walk and came back to us well and truly tired out! I would definitely recommend Liam, he clearly loves our little pup and we feel like we’re leaving him in safe hands 🐶”

About: I’ve cared for animals for many years through owning pets myself and regularly helping friends with pet sitting and walking their dogs. I’m confident with walks, routines and making sure dogs feel comfortable and happy. I’m reliable, caring and enjoy giving dogs the exercise, attention and company they need while you’re busy or away. I’m currently between jobs, so I have a very flexible schedule and can offer walks throughout the day during weekdays and weekends. This means I’m available for regular walks, last-minute bookings, and different routine times to suit your dog’s needs. I’m happy to follow your usual routine, walking preferences and any instructions carefully. I’ll always make sure dogs are secure on walks, well cared for, and given plenty of attention.

I currently don’t offer dog sitting in my own home as I live with my parents. However, I’m very respectful of clients’ homes and always aim to create a calm, safe, and loving environment for your pet while in your space.
About: I walked dogs for a dog walking company based in Colchester and wivenhoe for a year while at university, now I’m back in kent and I’m looking for more wagging tails to fill my schedule. I am DBS checked, per first aid trained and have a BTEC level 2 certificate in animal care. I am happy to follow your dogs schedule exactly as they’re used to, in order to make sure your dog is as happy as can be. I’m currently a university student at the university of Kent where I’m doing my masters degree and I’m looking to fill in the gaps in my schedule. With every walk I of course check and top up water, top up food (when necessary), and clean up any messes made before and after each walk. I do dog walks and check ins, cat check ins, small pet check ins and fish feeding etc

About: I’ve had family pets for as long as I can remember, particularly my two best friends: a cocker spaniel named Louie and a wonderful lady cockapoo called Bonnie. I understand dogs’ behaviours and their unique personalities, and I’m able to tailor my care to any pup and whatever quirks yours might have. I look forward to treating your dog as one of my own. 🐾🐶 I recently finished studying to become an engineer and now work a graduate job remotely from home, so I’m around throughout the day for plenty of walks and attention. My partner also works from home part-time as a freelancer, which means your dog will rarely be left alone and will always have company. We’re both active, too, so there’s plenty of exercise on offer in the evenings and at weekend I look after dogs in my own home, where they’ll be safe, comfortable, and well supervised throughout the day. We have a new-build home with a large garden that’s fully secure, enclosed by two-metre fences, so your dog can play, explore, and relax safely off-lead without any worries. With both my partner and me working from home, there’s almost always someone around to keep an eye on things and offer company. I’m also happy to follow any specific routine your dog needs, whether that’s a unique diet or a particular medication schedule, and I’ll stick to your instructions closely so your dog stays healthy, settled, and cared for just as they would be at home.

“I don’t have enough nice things to say about Jennifer and her family. They took such amazing care of my golden retriever, sent regular updates/photos and my pup absolutely loved being there, I could tell! I would highly recommend!”

“Abbie was great, images received, very flexible and easy to deal with and I think Avi had a GREAT time, he looked very at home. My only criticism is that Avi might have preferred staying with Abbie than he does living with me.”

“My dog had a great time staying with Vitoria and Ross! They were very accommodating and sent photos and updates every day. Their place has a lovely yard for dogs to play around in. Will definitely be back :)”

“Rheid looked after my dog, Kiko, for the day and was absolutely brilliant. Rheid was friendly, reliable and clearly very caring. Kiko took a shine to her immediately. Kiko was happy, relaxed and well looked after. Receiving photos of their adventures gave me real peace of mind. I would happily recommend Rheid to anyone looking for kind and trustworthy dog care, and I’d definitely use her again.”
