About: Not only have I taken care of my own pets since I was a child, for over the past year I have dog sat for many friends and family. I am a recent philosophy graduate with lots of time to care for my own pets. This means I have a lot of spare time, and I what’s better than spending that time taking care of others’ animals? To look after dogs, I had a gated garden and a gate at the bottom of the stairs. My rabbits had a large enclosure, the same with my chickens. Further, my cats are both outdoor.

About: I’ve taken care of family & friends dogs/cat for many years now and have grown up with them all my life! I’m lucky enough to also help out and work at dog events such as Goodwoof & Dogstival. This included walking, feeding and assisting all the owners and dogs needs throughout the whole day. I currently have a rescue dog myself from Crete and I have dedicated my time and effort helping with her anxiety towards other dogs, walks and loud noises. As well as training her some new tips and tricks, so I understand the importance of ensuring a dog feels comfortable especially in their own home. Right now, I have my dog Alfie, a complete bundle of energy who needs tons of walks, fetch, and playtime to tire him out. I also recently lost my older dog, so I deeply understand the extra patience, slow walks, and gentle care that senior dogs need. From high energy dogs to quiet seniors, I’ll treat your dog just like my own :) Since I work on a small remote project from home, my schedule is completely flexible. I don't have fixed office hours, which means I have all the time in the world to give your dogs the care, attention, and company they need, especially if you're away on holiday and want them to feel comfortable at home! I’m already out walking my energetic dog Alfie for 2 to 3 hours every day (split into a couple of walks, usually early morning and late evening during hot weather, with plenty of indoor playtime in between). I also have my own car, so traveling to nearby areas or taking your dog to nice walking spots is no problem at all. The house I live in is very big, we usually leave a door open but for first visitors I would go out into garden with their lead on to make sure they know how to get back to the house. I would be happy to let them off the lead and follow them around so they don’t get lost. In the owners home I would always take them out on a lead and make sure they feel safe and the environment is safe before letting them off.

I have always lived with cats and dogs in my family of all shapes and sizes, including Spaniels, Tabby cats, German Shepherds and Labradors. About: I have had dogs of all kinds all my life. I adore dogs. I had a very nervous Golden Retriever from 8 weeks old until he passed away. I saw him as part of the family. I looked after a Welsh Border Collie for 18 months because the owner couldn’t have dogs where she moved to. I also looked after two 10-year-old Labrador/Alsatian crosses. One of them had behavioural issues, but I was able to care for her confidently. I used to dog sit for them every few weeks and stay for several days at a time. I am reliable, sensible and flexible. I also have a car, so I can come at short notice and provide emergency transport to the vet if ever needed. I am available most days (except Tuesdays) and have my own car, so I’m able to travel where needed. I am reliable, caring and able to provide walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays and boarding. My priority is making sure your dog feels safe, happy and loved while you’re away. I know how important it is to have peace of mind, so I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and photos throughout your dog’s stay. About: I have a frenchie who was born Feb 2023 and had him since he was 8 weeks old, I trained him from the get go with some help from YouTube , books , friends & some puppy classes . He’s now the best dog , so friendly , so good with children and so fun to be around ! He’s always making us laugh. Having dogs in your life makes your life happier! I actually never had a dog growing up but I always had friends and boyfriends who had them I always found myself gravitating towards them. Since having Xylo I can’t believe I ever had a life without him by my side ! I frequently puppy sit a friends dog and have a friend with an anxious Frenchie who I’ve helped and assisted with , she’s now Xylos best friend ! She went from not liking other people and other dogs now they’re the best of friends and even enjoys playing with my daughter . When growing up I always wanted take my friends dogs on their leads . I had a partner for a few years and he had two Labs which were adorable we often took them for walks and trained them both together . I constantly asked questions and learnt how to look after them both. I took them out on my own as I didn’t work full time. I helped look after his elderly dog in and out of cars until his final days. I then found myself supporting his dog left behind in his grief of his best buddy. I’ve always had an interest in dogs but my lifestyle growing up was too busy for a dog , now I work part time it’s perfect time to show off what I can do! I’m currently working Monday-Wednesday but for holiday bookings message me and I can see what I can do! I’m around Thursday - Sunday. I have two year old stepdaughter who LOVES dogs , big or small and is so gentle with them. She has grown up with Xylo as they were both babies when they met ! She goes to childcare on a Thursday and every other weekend she goes to her mums. But I’m happy to have your pups with her, she loves them just as much as me! Her favourite part of the day is taking the dog for a walk , she’s currently training on the lead - loving it! There’s a few people in the house who will also be happy to take my daughter off my hands which will give me some time with your pups on their own! I have an Advanced DBS My home is in the perfect spot for dogs , I have a big garden that backs on to multiple fields. I have beaches near by , parks , forests , lakes, rivers , quieter roads and a high fenced spacious garden. My home can be potentially separated off of your dog needs some time to relax away from my dog. But I will give them chill times anyway. I also have a national trust membership which gives us a variety of different opportunities for walks. We also have a gated driveway . There’s a dog park at the top of my road that has play equipment suitable for dogs and is a huge gated area that I like to rent out when having other dogs especially for meeting for the first time !
About: Since my early years, the family house has always been filled with small animals - cats, hamsters, rabbits and guinea pigs. From this I’ve built a very good understanding of how to care for small animals like how to administer medication, feed, clean and groom them. Over my teenage years, whilst completing my gold Duke of Edinburgh, I volunteered for a year at an animal sanctuary where we cared and housed the most random of animals from hedgehogs to seagulls. But the most common animal we had were cats and kittens. Often we had around 20 cats at one time so I had to make sure to divide my time well that each animal had a good amount of human contact, cuddles, play time and grooming. It was important to establish bonds with the cats and kittens coming in as many were rescues so some didn’t have the best experience with human interaction. It was also important to build this connection so that they were able to go to homes in the future. As I have my own pet, Nova, I am very confident with scheduling for food, cleaning, vet visits etc. I work early in the morning therefore am up for early feeding time and then free for the whole day. Before accepting any job, It is my priority to first establish a basic relationship with the owner and pet in a visit before the intended date. This allows me to meet the pet and learn their schedule/ behaviour and where everything needed is and make sure you are happy and comfortable with me too!

Dudley, our dog, was happy with them and when we arrived to drop him for his holiday, jumped out of the car and went straight to their door. We were extremely grateful for their flexibility when our flight got delayed. Nothing was too much trouble and he really was well looked after. “Qi and her husband were absolutely fantastic with my boy Archie. Qi was quick to contact me when he appeared to have a limp and was reluctant to go down the stairs but after letting her know that Archie was in fact putting on the limp for attention, she was put at ease. I left Archie with Qi on bonfire night and she was brilliant in comforting him with the loud noises. We had a few laughs about Archie's antics for attention and Qi sent some lovely pictures of Archie with herself and her husband. When I collected Archie, it was clear that he had been very happy with Qi and her husband and they expressed how much they had loved having him to stay. I will definitely ask Qi and her husband to have Archie again and they have asked to look after him again. Thankyou Qi I am so greatful to you and your husband.”
