About: I am a young, fit individual who loves going on walks and spending time with animals🐾🏔️☺️ I can provide daily visits for dogs (or cats), dog walking, doggy day care or at times overnight boarding! For overnight boarding the dogs are allowed on the sofa, and there are lots of toys and balls to play with here too☺️ I have had dogs my whole life, starting with labradors and now border terriers. My own dog Teddy has a diagnosis of epilepsy so I am able to manage dogs with medical conditions well. I have access to a car and can drive to any appointments🚘 If my availability doesn’t suit, don’t hesitate to send a request or message anyways and I will see what I can do. My partner often helps me too if I am unavailable🥰 I currently work full time through a shift schedule. However I often have spare time on my hands during days off on which I would love to go a walk or help out other dog owners. I can also provide overnight boarding for well behaved, socialised dogs. When in someone else’s home I will respect any instructions given to me. I can bring my own dog on walks (if wanted) to keep company.
“Rebecca and Jamie did a fantastic job at looking after Ruby. She had such a good time at their house with their 2 dogs. She got loads of exercise and learned new sills while staying with them. Will definitely rebook in the future!”

“Fantastic sitter and such a lovely person. Booking for mine and my mums dog, my mum was quite nervous leaving her senior dog for a few nights but can't believe how settled she was. Both of our girls have come back happy and relaxed”

“We were so pleased to find Svitlana when we needed somewhere in Workington for our dog to stay. Sivtlana was quick and professional to communicate with and very willing to be flexible with us when we couldn't confirm exact drop off time til close to the day, and also when we needed to collect our dog early due to a change in our plans. Had a lovely video of Harley playing, so I'm sure he had a great stay :) We'll rebook if we are in need to have him stay in Workington again.”

“Isla was very happy staying over at Mollie's house. Isla can be a bit over friendly 🫣 but Mollie handled this really well and took great care of her. Isla is looking forward to her next visit already!! 🐾🐾”

“Bernie had a wonderful time at Amy’s house! She sent updates and photos daily to show us how happy he was. His days were full of exercise, play, and snuggles. We knew he was in great hands! We will definitely book with Amy again…Bernie loved his stay!”

“This is the first time that Alison has looked after our Maine Coon, Gowdie. We had a friend staying at ours previously but she had to give up due to personal matters. I found Alison when I googled home cat sitters as I didn't want to put Gowdie in kennels as she's never been in. Alison called me and then came to visit us to meet us and Gowdie. It was a daunting prospect letting a stranger into our home, but we needn't have worried. Alison quickly put us at ease. We organised the key collection a couple of days before Alison's first visit. Gowdie was a bit stand offish when Alison first came in but on the 2nd day, she started to thaw out. Alison fed, watered her and cleaned out Gowdie's litter tray. I got daily updates and videos of her visits, which put our minds at rest. Alison left everything clean and tidy and opened/closed our curtains and switched lights on/off as well. Absolutely great service and will definitely be using Alison again next year when we go away again. She's an absolute star and is very friendly and helpful. It's great to know our home and our cat are being well cared for. Thank you Alison. See you soon. X”

“George was a brilliant cat sitter for my cat Frankie, and I'd definitely book him again! He made time to meet with me and Frankie before I went away, which was really reassuring as I struggle with leaving my little one behind. He sent me lots of updates and took care of her exactly as was requested.”

“Emilia was an amazing help looking after our 3 cats! She is very reliable for stopping by and doesn’t just spend 5-10 minutes at the house. She sat with them for a good half an hour and would also clean the litter trays for us! We got updates and photos sent to us while we were away too, just to reassure us that everything was okay and the cats were happy! She also gets bonus points for taking in the wheelie bin without us even mentioning it! Would definitely recommend her to anyone!”

“Machair is quite an anxious dog and after his meet and greet with Madeleine he was absolutely fine. She was very calm with him and they were soon best friends. She came in and fed him and took him a wee walk and everything was fine when I returned home. I would definitely use Madeleine again.”

“Shreyas did a wonderful job looking after Sombra (my wee house cat) for 4 days while I was away. I was kept up to date on check in and outs and updated with photos from his visits, with Sombra. Thankyou very much for making sure she had what she needed while I was away!! Kind regards”

“Rebecca was welcoming and friendly. Communication was great. Poppy seemed to take to her on arrival which is unusual for my unsociable girl. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for Poppy's first time in day care. I'd certainly recommend Rebecca. Worth more stars.”
“Angus had a great time with Lexie today. Lexie sent me regular updates on Angus putting my mind at ease. And from the pictures I recieved I can tell he enjoyed every moment of it! I will certainly be booking again.”

About: Very experienced dog trainer and behaviourist, with large rescue organisation for over 10 years. Avid dog lover, and previous dog mum to a sassy Daxi called Tilly. Countryside living in Cumbria, with both walks on the doorstep, and the fells a short drive away for those more adventurous paws! Dog got a few 'quirks'? Rest assured, ive seen em all! Positive training methods and vibes all the way! :) I am currently on a career break, so the world is my oyster at the moment. I enjoy getting out and about most days, so having a pooch to join me would be great! I understand every dog is different, so am able to adapt to each individual in order to meet both their, and your needs. I have a mature garden, which is full of lots of smells and room for adventures. the majority of it is enclosed, with some small gaps beneath some decking- however, I am more than happy to keep your pooch on a long line, and supervised at all times. I have multiple rooms, if your dog requires separating at certain times etc. I have space for crates etc. I am happy to accommodate your dog on the furniture, or on the bed if this makes them feel more at ease. I have access to a woodland which is not open to the public, so if your dog requires quieter walks away from the public, or other dogs, this can be accommodated easily.
“Amazing, couldn’t have asked for better caring people to look after my dog Margo. They went above and beyond taking her out on day trips, treating her like part of their family and also providing photos while I was away. I will be booking with them again!! I would highly recommend and I already have!!”

About: I have loved dogs since day one, growing up we had two Labradors, one of which was a rescue. My mum also added a little Westie to the gang, so along with 3 cats, it was quite a busy household! I developed a deep love and understanding of their unique personalities and needs. Now, as the proud owner with my wife of four wonderful dogs, three are rescue dogs, two of which are Thai street dogs, and my mums Bedlington Terrier following her passing. Two of the rescue dogs are reactive to other dogs so I bring a hands-on experience in handling a variety of temperaments with patience and care. Whether it’s providing a calming presence for anxious pups or ensuring playful companions get the exercise they need, I’m committed to creating a safe, happy environment for every dog I care for. I would be delighted to care for your dog, if you're happy for me to help, please pop me a message! I currently work from home, so I'm free during the week and weekends to look after your lovely dog! If you have any questions, just let me know! We have a fenced garden and if your dog gets on with other dogs, we have four of our own to keep them company if needs be. We also have two crates if required.
“I would 100% recommend Svitlana for any dog sitting duties. She looked after my little Ollie last minute yesterday and she was so lovely and patient. He had such a lovely time & I was sent lots of pictures and reassurance throughout the day. Thank you so much!”

About: A true animal lover, I've turned my passion into my profession and recently been awarded a PhD in animal behaviour and welfare. As well as the theory, I have plenty of practice caring for animals. I work a full time but flexible role, mostly from home, with most evenings and weekends free. This means sticking to routine, respecting their boundaries and responding to their behaviour.
“Madeleine was brilliant. Very easy and accommodating, despite me not being able to meet her before. Dora had a lovely time and was very well looked after. Would definitely recommend Madeleine and would book her again in an instant. Thank you!”

About: I’ve been around animals of all kinds my entire life and truly love caring for them. Animals have always been part of my home and family, so I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved when their owners are away. I currently have a senior dog who is nearly 14, so I’m very familiar with the extra care and attention that older dogs need. I also have a cat and 11 chickens, so I’m used to caring for animals with different personalities, routines, and needs. I’ve had hands-on experience caring for kittens born in my home, as well as supporting my own cats through injuries and post-surgery recovery. This has included administering medication, maintaining clean bedding, keeping them warm and comfortable, and adapting their diet to aid healing. I’m confident looking after a wide range of pets and am happy to care for dogs, cats, and small animals. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, cleaning enclosures, refreshing water, letting animals out, and giving them attention, playtime, and companionship. I am available for drop ins, dog walks and doggie day care. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are safe, happy, and being well looked after. I’m generally available Monday to Friday between 9:30am and 2:30pm while my children are at school. I’m also usually available on Saturdays and Sundays after 2pm. Need a time outside of the above? Just send me a message — I’m always happy to help if I can. 😊 As a reliable, disclosure-checked and fully insured pet and home sitter/ dog walker, you can feel confident that your pets and home will always be treated with the utmost care and respect. I have previous experience caring for animals in their owners’ homes and always make sure to follow any instructions given, including feeding routines, walks, and individual care needs. While house sitting, I ensure all doors, windows, and gates are safely closed and locked. I also carry out routine checks around the home to make sure everything is safe, secure, and running smoothly. Contact me to arrange a meet and greet where we can discuss your pet’s needs in more detail and I can meet them beforehand.
