Minnie had a wonderful time with Kay. We felt at ease instantly, as Kay was so thorough when asking about Minnie’s needs and showed her lots of love from the get go. She has an amazing garden which Minnie wasted no time in enjoying! Kay sent lots of updates with photos and videos to put our mind at ease too which was fab. We would recommend to anyone who would like a kind, loving home away from home for their pup, we will certainly be using Kay again.

About: I have had dogs in the family since I was 11 years old. I have experience of caring for old dogs and have had our current dog since he was 12 weeks old. My own dog is very friendly and would welcome another dog into the home. I work full time however both remote and in the office. Our weekends are spent dog walking mostly in the local area particularly on the beach. We have a fenced and gated medium sized garden. We have one male dog who is 5 years old and is neutered. He is extremely friendly and would be a lovely companion to any dogs staying in our home. We live close to the beach and countryside. We don’t currently have any children in the home.

I grew up with a border collie. Other family pets included ducks, chickens, rats, birds, turtles, hamsters. Other experience includes childcare, I am a British gymnastics qualified coach who completed background checks, I’ve worked at a leisure Center and volunteered at a down syndrome sports club. I work full time in an office but am remote Mondays and Fridays, which makes thoose ideals for pet sitting! I work in my office and occasionally have meetings but this would integer minimally with my attention and I am easily accessible for the pets and keeping them within dar and eye shot ! I have a large flat which I can allow the pet to free roam with plenty of ventilation. I also leave all the doors open so the pegs can come find me st my workstation and I can keep an ear out for them! About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats and have over 20 years of experience caring for my own cats. Alongside this, I have around 10 years of hands-on experience looking after dogs for extended periods, often for weeks at a time. I’m very comfortable with animals of all personalities and needs, and I genuinely enjoy providing them with a safe, happy, and loving environment while they’re in my care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as I’m not currently working, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give pets the attention they deserve. I’m home most of the day, so I can maintain consistent feeding schedules, provide regular playtime, and ensure pets feel comfortable and settled. I’m able to adapt my routine around each pet’s needs, whether that’s multiple walks for dogs, quiet companionship for cats, or sticking closely to specific care instructions. Because of my availability, I can offer a calm, attentive environment and won’t need to rush or leave pets alone for long periods. I provide attentive, reliable care whether pets are in my home or in their owner’s home. In my home, I create a calm, safe, and welcoming environment where pets can settle in comfortably, sticking closely to their usual routines for feeding, play, and rest. I make sure they get plenty of attention, stimulation, and affection so they feel relaxed and at home. When caring for pets in their owner’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions carefully to maintain the pet’s normal routine. I ensure feeding schedules, walks, litter or garden care, and any specific needs are met consistently. I also keep owners updated for peace of mind, so they know their pets are happy and well looked after while they’re away.

Having been let down by another sitter we found Andrew what impressed me was the personal write up on his profile, due to the fact we have 2 rescue dogs we thought Andrew’s previous experience would be perfect and this turned out to be correct Dexter & Holly have just returned after a one night trial and all has gone well, before booking this we went through with the dogs to see if we could introduce them and see how it went Due to Andrew’s perfect calm nature the dogs settled to our amazement really well and Holly fell in love with Andrew The overnight stay has gone well even though the dogs seemed more anxious when dropping off Dexter who we thought may be an issue settled straight away but through patients and staying away Holly settled after 2 hours I would highly recommend Andrew but reluctant as I don’t want him to become too busy so we can’t get back booked in 😂 It has been a pleasure dealing with Andrew and his lovely partner Sian we feel blessed to have found such a lovely caring perfect dog sitter and now booking up for our dogs when we go on Holiday Regards Colin & Nicky

No concerns with Becky. Kept up to date with regular pictures. Lola is a very shy and timid rescue but it looks like she came out of her shell with Becky and made a friend. Would definitely ask Becky back to look after lola on my next trip away. Felt safe knowing that she was being well cared for. Thanks!

Wendy looked after our two cats while we were away on holiday, and we couldn't have been happier with the care she provided. From the very first visit, it was obvious how much Wendy genuinely cares about cats. She kept us updated every day with lots of photos and videos, which gave us real peace of mind and allowed us to see how happy and relaxed our cats were while we were away. Knowing that Wendy was looking after them meant we could fully enjoy our holiday without worrying. She was reliable, caring, and attentive, and it was clear that our cats were in excellent hands. We came home to two very content cats and are so grateful for the wonderful care Wendy provided. We would absolutely book Wendy again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dedicated cat sitter. Thank you, Wendy!

This is the third time Rachel has looked after our cat. House sitting over New Year this time as we didn't want Kali alone while fireworks were going off. As ever, Rachel was brilliant with her, keeping us updated, giving her medication and leaving the house very clean and tidy. Kali seems to enjoy her visits, and we're very glad to have someone trustworthy and great with cats looking after her.

I am used to handling cats at the Vets and spotting issues early. In the past, I have spotted a breathing issue whilst looking after a cat on here, and taken it to its vet to get it checked early- this lead to an early diagnosis of a heart disease the owner did not know it had. At the vets I also knew all the warnings signs to look out for for emergencies such as signs of Thrombo and Hyperthyroidism. With this experience, I hope you know your lovely feline friends are in safe hands. Please find my business on Google or go to my website for more info on me: W w w . Theyorkshirefurrygodmother . Co. About: Hello. I'm Dan, 34 years old and a lot of free time giving me the opportunity to help you and your pets. I'm an avid animal lover of all types and would welcome all invitations to walk, watch over and treat your best friends as mine too. I like to stay active, keeping a regular walking distance everyday and would happily welcome company on those walks. Whether that be short routes around the neighbourhood or a much longer trek in the hopes of tiring them out by the end of the day. I am a licenced first aider with lots of experience fostering dogs and cats in the past with severe medical conditions and other special requirements. In those situations I'm well trained to remain calm under pressure and skilled at assisting your pet in times of need.

Alfred was just amazing from the very beggining. I had a cancellation extremely last minute and he answered fast and planned a quick meetup on the same day. My dog loved him the moment he stepped through the door, and the first time meeting I got the vibe of calm, friendly, professional about him. Throught the whole booking: - always kept me informed of when he would drop-in (daily) - kept the daily card updated and descriptive / plenty of photos too - asked questions if unsure - ensured my dog always had what was needed to endure the heatwave - always stayed on top of what we had discussed and any concerns Totally booking again :D

About: I’m experienced in handling large dogs (any size/breed welcome) and have a deep understanding of the needs and quirks of anxious and reactive dogs and the care and patience they require through my experience with my extremely nervous rescue German Shepherd who was in very bad mental and physical condition when I adopted him. Sadly, he passed at the end of 2024 after many happy years together. Personally, I found it extremely difficult to trust others to walk or care for him during our time together so I’d like to reassure those in a similar position that I can take care of their best friend when they need it and I’ll always be as careful, understanding and vigilant as I was with my own. My garden is secure with full, well-maintained fences and walls and a padlocked gate, I have blinds on all public facing windows which can be closed if dogs are triggered by people walking by. Everyone is welcome to supply any toys, beds or anything that makes your dog feel more comfortable and of course I will stick to their usual walking schedule and dietary requirements. I live directly next to a large park which is not typically very busy and offers numerous trails from the main paths to avoid others when caring for reactive dogs. I will never let anyone’s dog off the lead during a walk (unless I have booked a secure field) and always clip leads to a strong walking belt as extra security, walk in shaded areas on hot days and carry water at all times. I mainly work from home so when boarding and pet sitting your dog will be with me all day with regular opportunities to play, go in the garden and for walks in the morning, lunch time and evening. I’m available for walks morning, lunchtime and evenings during the week and all day Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I only care for dogs from the same household on walks and in my home unless they are friends who have already spent time together. This is for the best possible wellbeing of each dog. I’d rather provide quality and complete confidence than take on as many dogs as possible as I believe in giving them the individual care and attention they deserve with as few stressful triggers as possible. I work from home so dogs will not be left unattended or outside for prolonged periods. I only endorse the use of positive reinforcement / reward-based training and treat all dogs with respect, understanding and care tailored to their specific needs. I’m happy to discuss your requirements, answer any questions and arrange a pre-stay meet and greet if required. I have also completed a certified DBS check through my employer. We do not have any children or pets of our own in our home.

About: Previous dog owner of my lovely girl for 18 years. I have provided regular day and overnight care for two family dogs for the last 9 years (from puppy onwards) We relocated to the North East in July 25. We have previously been registered on Rover, when living down south. We all enjoyed the experience and built an excellent rating, with many repeat visitors. I am at home 7 days a week. Living in a mutigeneration family (Mother, sister and 2 teenagers - all dog lovers) so full time care and attention is always available. We love dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes. The beach is only a safe 7 minute walk away, so access to lots of exciting walks, smells and stimulation is on our doorstep. I have a good sized family home, with a secure fenced garden. A large family/ kitchen area with plenty of space for our doggy visitors to relax. We also have a cosy living room for some personal space and quiet time. We will give your fur baby a home away from home experience. With plenty of walks, play and cuddles during any stay.

About: My experience with dogs started when I was born. The family dog was one year old so I have grown up with dogs which installed a deep and meaningful bond with dogs. I have fostered many rescues from the UK and Romania, as well as adopting. I love all dogs and care for them as if they were my own and have owned and have experience with puppies, reactive dogs and seniors so have experience with a wide variety of different breeds and ages. I currently work part time from home, so will have plenty of time to play with your dogs, walk them and look after any of their needs from brushing to tear stains and feeding and/or medication. I will still be able to take your dog all day as I can work around their needs. I have a 6ft fenced garden and 3 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company if they want. Dogs have free roam of the house and garden and are welcome to sit on the sofas or beds, but am also able to provide crates/beds if needed for your pet. I am a short drive away from Marske beach and a wonderful wood so your dog will get a nice variety of walks twice a day depending on time spent at my home. Water bowls are placed in every room so they will have plenty of access to water at all times and will never be left more than 3 hours at a time if boarding overnight. At weekends our dogs are our passion so all days out are worked around dog friendly walks and cafes/pubs if needed. Your baby will also be able to enjoy weekend adventures if you would be happy for us to take them along.

Scooby, my six month old Cavachon went to Eve’s for doggy day care on the 3rd May, 2023, for the first time. Booking through Rover is a breeze but Eve goes the extra mile adding a personal touch. Communication & promptness to reply, asking questions about Scooby’s likes & dislikes, walks/if he was aloud off the lead, everything & more was covered & catered for. I cannot fault or rate Eve highly enough, pure perfection, I have rebooked a further five days, this time with boarding. Please anyone considering booking with Eve, don’t hesitate , you will not be disappointed.

Jasper loved staying with Sian for day care and was so excited on the second day as soon as we got to the house. He made himself right at home from the minute he walked in and I was kept up to date during the day which was really appreciated. Will definitely be booking again.

Rachel is amazing, great communication very professional and just has a great personality. Rachel has met our babies a few times and is really aware of taking it at their pace, ensuring that she creates a strong friendship with Luna who loves to play and Kylo who enjoys snuggles, they have really warmed to her. We look forward to making this a coninual addition into our routines due to long working hours and the babies having Rachel as a friend within those times. She is great at keeping us upto date with pictures and texts of the fun they are having. Thank you again. X

Vicky sat for Bonnie for us for the first time today. She took Bonnie for a walk and gave her her tea. We loved the updates and photos and Bonnie clearly enjoyed her time with Vicky. It gave us peace of mind knowing Bonnie had some company; we knew we didn’t need to worry about her. We won’t hesitate to book Vicky again - a lovely lady, very friendly and clearly loves dogs. Bonnie sat on her foot five minutes after she met her. That’s definite acceptance in Border Terrier language!

About: I have always been around furry friends growing up and since moving to Brighton for university I have been missing spending quality time with my dog. I can provide lots of exercise, play and cuddles depending on what your pets prefer! I work part-time so will have plenty of availability to ensure your pets are well looked after. Additionally, my university term has ended so if you have any summer plans I can be there to ensure your pets don’t get lonely!! I cannot offer any home-boarding due to being in a student house but will ensure your home is well taken care of whilst you are away. I’m happy to provide frequent visits or stay and ensure your pet is well entertained and taken for as many walks as you wish and keep the house in top condition!

About: Hi, I’m Amey ☺️ I absolutely love dogs and spending time with them, whether that’s going for walks, giving them company or simply helping them feel safe and comfortable. I especially have a soft spot for nervous or sensitive dogs and understand that some need a little more patience and reassurance. I have experience caring for dogs and regularly spend time around rescue dogs, so I’m comfortable with different personalities and temperaments. I’m calm, reliable and happy to follow any routines, boundaries or training your dog is used to. I’m mainly available on weekends and would love the opportunity to spend time with a lovely dog who enjoys walks, companionship and lots of fuss 🐶🐾 I work full-time within a primary school setting during the week, so I’m mainly available on weekends and during school holidays. I enjoy spending my free time around animals and love going on walks, giving pets company and helping them feel comfortable and settled while their owners are away. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, relaxed and secure in their usual environment. I’m calm, patient and happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, boundaries and any specific needs they may have. I especially understand that some animals can be nervous or need a little extra reassurance and patience.

About: I have had many pets over the years. From a donkey, goats, chickens and of course dogs! I stumbled across offering care for other people's dogs by accident really, but it works really well. I care for our extended family and friends dogs in my home while they go away on holiday. I lost my gorgeous dog four years ago and miss him terribly. I decided this would be a great way to enjoy having the company of a dog again. My dog was a whippet so I know what a good walk looks like! I am are registered on trusted house sitters and have five star reviews from all my sits. I have no dogs myself so your dog would be the only dog to be cared for whilst with me. You can go away knowing your dog would be having a lovely holiday with me while you are having your own holiday. They fit in as my pet for the duration of their stay. If I stayed in your home you could rest assured I know how to look after a home. I have been married for over 40 years. I have an acre garden so grass cutting does not faze me either.

We needed someone who could take 2 big dogs (and all the luggage that goes with them!!) Sarah and her family were absolutely marvellous and more than stepped up. Diesel fitted straight in; Nala we knew would take more convincing and try and push her luck, but Sarah soon cottoned on it didn't take long before Nala settled too. Have already booked them in for more holidays as now we have found the right family to take care of Diesel and Nala, we can enjoy our holidays worry free.

We are so lucky we found Pete, Emma and Sirius the dalmation to look after our dog Misty while we were in holiday, they are such a lovely family and they welcomed Misty into their home for a week making her part of their family. We got regular updates, messages, photos and videos which made a massive difference to our holiday actually seeing her having a fabulous holiday of her own. Everything from the first contact via Rover to the end of Misty's stay was smooth and stress free for us, Pete and Emma are such calm confident people, at our initial meeting at the park we felt very confident they were going to look after Misty as their own and that reassured us we had chosen correctly. I would not hesitate to ask the family to take care of Misty again and if I could give 10 stars in this review that still wouldn't be enough to show how highly we rate them.

About: 🐾 A Home Away From Home for Your Best Friend! 🐾 Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of every age, breed, and personality. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, so I understand that every pup is unique and deserves plenty of love, patience, and individual attention. From energetic puppies learning the ropes to gentle senior dogs needing a little extra care, I'm experienced with it all. I've helped with puppy training, supported older dogs with arthritis and mobility issues, and cared for every stage in between. Whether your dog is full of zoomies or prefers a slower pace, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy during their stay. I've looked after dogs of all shapes and sizes—from tiny Jack Russells right up to gentle giants like Dogues de Bordeaux—so no matter how big or small your four-legged family member is, they'll be welcomed with open arms. Your dog will have plenty of room to make themselves at home in our spacious house, with lots of cosy spots to relax, nap, or simply potter about. Outside, we have a large, secure garden where they can stretch their legs, play, sniff, and soak up the fresh air. We're also surrounded by beautiful countryside, making it the perfect place for exciting adventures, leisurely strolls, and plenty of sniff-filled walkies. Sharing our home is our lovely spayed female Golden Retriever, who absolutely adores other dogs. She's friendly, gentle, and always happy to make new friends—whether that's a game of chase in the garden or simply lounging together after a long walk. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, and I'll care for them as if they were one of my own. Whether they're staying for a day, a weekend, or a longer holiday, you can relax knowing they'll receive lots of love, attention, playtime, cuddles (if they enjoy them!), and updates so you can see what they've been getting up to. I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! I work from home full-time, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily routine. My schedule already revolves around my own Golden Retriever, meaning your dog will always have company, attention, and plenty of opportunities for exercise and relaxation throughout the day. Our mornings start with breakfast (our Goldie would never let us forget it!), followed by a long walk through the beautiful nearby woods and countryside. If anyone comes home a little muddy after their adventure, they're more than welcome to enjoy a quick rinse before settling in. While I work, the dogs can relax wherever they're most comfortable, with free access to our spacious, secure garden whenever they fancy a sniff or a potter outside. I take regular breaks throughout the day for playtime, cuddles, toilet breaks, and, of course, the occasional well-earned treat! In the afternoon, we head out for another walk before winding down for the evening. Whether your dog loves exploring, playing, snoozing, or simply being close to people, they'll enjoy a relaxed, home-from-home environment with lots of love, attention, and companionship. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. We have a large, fully secure garden with high fencing, giving dogs plenty of space to run, play, explore, or simply relax in the fresh air whenever they like. I also make sure that any plants within their reach are dog-safe, so you can have complete peace of mind. Sharing our home is our friendly, spayed Golden Retriever, who absolutely loves the company of other dogs. Whether it's a game of zoomies around the garden, exploring together on walks, or curling up for a well-earned nap, she's always delighted to welcome a new furry friend. Inside, our home is spacious, calm, and relaxed, and dogs can settle in wherever they feel most comfortable. Whether your dog is playful and energetic or prefers a peaceful snooze after a walk, they'll have plenty of space to feel safe, loved, and right at home.

This was our first time using Rover and Odie’s first time away from family members we thought kennels wouldn’t be the right solution for Odie as he needs a quiet space being an older dog and after hours of scrolling for the right person we came across Michael. Reading his profile gave us reassurance and confidence that he would be the right person to look after our boy with his home offering a home from home environment, quiet space, meeting routines, patience and understanding of his personality he ticked all the boxes! Michael was quick to respond with any queries before we went ahead with booking. We received lovely pictures and videos of Odie out on walks and snuggled up at his home and he looked very happy and content throughout the whole Holiday. We had no worries or concerns at any point. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future with Michael as he was very kind, approachable and genuinely very caring. Thanks again Michael for looking after our Odie boy and it was an absolute pleasure meeting you. Enjoy your thank you gift🍾 Craig, Kerri, Kids and Odie

Biscuit's initial stay was a trial run for when he's left longer. Liam, Hannah and Beau were absolutely brilliant with our little Biscuit. We had some nerves with Biscuit being newly rehomed to us and still just finding himself, but we needn't have, within 15 minutes of leaving we had a photo of Biscuit cuddled up to Hannah. We had plenty of updates and nothing was a bother when we messaged Liam, even when we forgot to send Biscuit's rain jacket and towel. We have no worries about leaving him with Liam, Hannah and Beau again in a few weeks :)
