“Thank you Anne for looking after collie Jane so well and treating her as one of the family! She was obviously so at home with you that she ran out to greet us, then promptly ran back into the house, where it was clearly much more exciting than us! Jane is looking forward to her next stay with you! 😊”

“Erin and Alex were fantastic! Could not rate them highly enough. Sent me so many lovely photos, videos and messaging updates throughout Floyd's stay whilst we were on holiday. I felt like they did a brilliant job looking after Floyd and he seemed to have the best time! Will definitely be looking to book them in the future 😊”

“As usual Lenny and Boo had a lovely stay. Jenny is so good with them and they are so happy when they come home. I wouldn’t leave them with anyone else while Jenny is doing this service.”

“Chendy is such a kind and gentle lady and our little spaniel was really happy with her. She was sensitive to him being a little nervous at first and let him come out of his shell. She kept me informed via text about he was doing which I was so grateful for. He has slept all day today after his stay so I think it's safe to say he had a great time! What a fabulous location for dogs too - right on the edge of the forest. Thank you Chendy, see you again soon I hope.”

“We booked Finn in with Larissa as a last minute emergency booking, as have been extremely satisfied! Our dog bounced into their lives! We were kept mostly updated with photo's and comments about his time! When we picked him up he seemed very content, no signs of stress at all! Finn was even given a toy as a parting gift! Finn has been extremely well looked after and we will come back again!”

“Yuen was absolutely amazing in taking care of Eddie and always sending lots of photos of him. I would strongly recommend her services if you’re looking to leave your dog with someone.”

“Another wonderful stay with Anthony for Jack. A daily update with photo or video was lovely to receive, and something we looked forward to each evening! Anthony was really patient with Jack - he's a very sensitive nervous dog, which can present its challenges, but Anthony did a great job with him. They had a lovely 9 mile walk together, which was great to hear. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Anthony, he's a superstar!”

“We were really happy to leave our Irish Terrier with Ros and Charles and will happily do so again. Their knowledge and understanding of dogs shines through and they were very happy to discuss Pogues needs/quirks with us in detail. Pogue came home very happy and relaxed. Playing chase with Ros and relaxing with Charles clearly suited him!”

“Usually we have our Labrador looked after at home with housesitters. This is the first time he was boarded in someone elses home. (He can be quite boisterous). We didn't need to worry at all. Buddy fell in love with Laura & Leandro straightaway. They are lovely people and took great care of Bud. Nothing was too much trouble and Bud particularly liked snuggling on the sofa with Laura and their gorgeous little dog Sindy. Buddy loved Sindy too and they played for hours together. Bud now has a new doggy best friend. Thank you Laura & Leandro for the great care you have given to Buddy. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Kirsty looked after Honey for two nights, Honey settled in straight away and was very comfortable. Kirsty made her feel at home and had lots of toys for Honey to play with. She also made sure Honey had plenty of outdoor time with walks in the woods and the beach and provided us with lots of updates. Would definitely recommend Kirsty, she is an excellent dog boarder and we will be booking again!”

“Jemma is obviously experienced looking after new dogs and has really calm manner. Frida enjoyed her stay and got on well with her little dachshund. We are boarding Frida with Jemma again for 10 days and have no worries that Frida will be well looked after. Jemma's communication is great and makes it easy to arrange a stay. I would recommend 👍”

“Absolutely brilliant. I didn't have to worry at all whilst we were away, Clara did a fantastic job! The cats didn't show any signs of stress whilst we were gone, and when we came back they were healthy and happy. Clara kept in touch and sent photos and videos, I will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Sophie was incredibly patient and flexible over the booking process (which was complicated due to some cat health issues that affected the booking times), and responded promptly and patiently to all my messages and my last-minute flailing around! Has been thoughtful, great with problem solving, communicative throughout, and took great care in staying with them during the sessions to ensure they’d had everything they needed, especially as one has been incredibly poorly lately. Has earned the trust of my two very finicky and anxious cats. Thank you Sophie!”

“Amela was wonderful! We’ll definitely be reaching out to her for all of our future trips. She was punctual, quick to respond, and proactive in sharing updates. We came home to a very happy kitty—thank you so much!”

About: I’ve never owned a cat myself, but I’ve been lucky to look after cats for friends, family, and colleagues, and I’ve completely fallen in love with them. I’m definitely a cat person at heart and love how unique each one is. I’m happy to take things at their pace, whether that means earning their trust slowly, enjoying some quiet company, or cuddles when they’re feeling affectionate.

About: I have grown up with Barney and Bob, Bob (now passed) was my baby and I miss sniffing his head. Barney is still happy and cared for at my mums. Bob was unique and needed extra care (medication) but was the happiest and loved rough and tumble play. I am now trusted with taking care of my friends cats whilst they’re away. We live in a flat with no garden and no other pets, so your cat/s would get all of our attention.

About: I’m a veterinary student with lots of experience cat sitting for neighbours including feeding, cleaning litter trays, administering basic care and spending time with them while owners were away. I have also spent time at a Cat’s protection. Through my studies and personal experience, I understand feline behaviour and the importance of creating a calm, safe environment for cats of different personalities and needs. I’m reliable, attentive and genuinely enjoy caring for animals.
About: Coming from a family of farmers in County Durham, I grew up surrounded by animals; dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, sheep, cows and horses! I have 5 cats and 2 dogs who all love to join in on walks! I’m very active and will make sure your pet gets the attention they deserve. Previously done house sits and walking for dogs who all left with 5* reviews. I graduated university with a criminology degree and currently working part time so able to fit in to you and your pets schedule. I have my own means of transport - pet friendly, and able to take them to their usual or new spots. I am able to manage walking multiple dogs at once. I work part time, 4 days a week until 3pm. I am available to take your pets out either way. I’m an early riser to pet sitting can start any point in the day! I also have my own means of transport. I am consistent, reliable and luckily a housekeeper! Your home would be in very safe hands. In my own home my pets favourite place is my bedroom! I wake up to 3 cats and 2 dogs in my bed most mornings.
“Emily was fantastic! She looked after our cat while we were out of town for a week and we are so grateful for the care and attention Emily gave to her. Emily was extremely responsive, professional, and communicative. Best of all, she sent lots of great pictures!”

About: I got my first cat when I was 6 years old. And from that time I have never stopped having cats until my moving to the UK from Ukraine. My kids adore cats as well. I know how to feed them, play, brush and even bath them.

“***Superstars*** Really can’t thank Jane and Lee enough for house sitting for us and looking after our two cats. We have come home to our house being cleaner than when we left and our two cats happy and stress free! - we had regular picture updates of our cats and lines of communication if we needed it. Highly recommended! (Lee even fixed our hoover which broke just before we left)”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic dog sitter! Great communication from start to finish, really friendly, and I felt completely at ease leaving Bruce in their care. It was clear my dog was well looked after and happy. I'd definitely use them again and would happily recommend them to others. Thank you!”

“First time using a dog sitter and my 4yr old Cockapoo was absolutely fine. It was great knowing he was with an experienced dog sitter and with other dogs for company. Will definitely be using again.”

“Stellar and adaptable dog day care when our holiday plans somewhat changed and transport was limited. Yuen’s and her family’s support for our plans and loving care for our special dog at short-notice were above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. We definitely recommend Yuen to anyone needing dog day care, and will seek her services on our future visits to the area.”

About: Hi, I’m Ella! I’m based in Hexham, a huge dog lover, and love being outdoors. Offering doggy daycare and walking on Rover is a natural fit for me and my home. I’ve cared for dogs for years and I'm owner to Angus, my friendly, neutered 6-year-old Spaniel. He’s completely dog-obsessed, loves company, and is always up for making a new best friend. Having a Spaniel means active daily routines are second nature to us—we love getting out into nature, exploring local routes, and keeping dogs happy and exercised! Services & Activities Provided: Dog Walking: 30 to 60-minute active walks tailored to your pup’s energy. Routes include local favourites like Tyne Green for easy river strolls, as well as trips further afield to woodland trails and country paths. Doggy Daycare: Full-day or half-day care in my home. Activities include supervised garden play with Angus, gentle treat puzzles, structured local walks, and cozy downtime on the sofa. Routine & Basic Care: Feeding on your regular schedule, fresh water refreshes, thorough towel-offs after muddy walks, and following any house rules or basic commands you use at home. Photo Updates: Photo and video check-ins sent throughout the day so you can see all the fun your dog is having. My Availability: I work full-time in teaching, which gives me fantastic, full-day availability for daycare and walks during the summer holidays, school term breaks, and over weekends! Outside of term breaks, I offer weekend daycare as well as evening and weekend walks. Angus and I would love to meet you and your pup! Feel free to drop me a message if you have any questions or want to arrange a quick meet-and-greet Even though I am on dog care duty with Angus every day, I am a full time teacher. During term time, I offer evening and weekend walks and daycare. During school holidays and weekends, pet care becomes my full-time daily focus! Your dog is treated as part of the household with access to a cozy, secure living space and fenced secure garden alongside Angus. I stick strictly to your usual feeding, walking, and care routines.
“Joanna was just perfect: our little chap was a bit off form the day we had to leave him but Joanna was very patient, friendly and professional and we were able to enjoy our day in town worry free and with confidence! See you next time and thank you!”

“My spaniel Winnie can be a little shy when she first meets new people, but she loved Charlotte from the moment she met her! She’s always so excited to visit and runs straight out of the car and up to Charlotte’s front door which is such a great sign. I trust Charlotte with Winnie and she’s very reliable too so I would highly recommend.”

“Absolutely amazing care with Emma and her partner. We were anxious as we haven't really left our dog with anyone, and from Emma visiting Toby at home to meet him and us, to the drop off and pick up, she was great! Thank you again! Would highly recommend and will definitely book again x”

“Griffin had a great time with Laura and Leandro, it was his first time being minded and he seemed to enjoy it. We were sent photos and updates, and they were very accommodating with our late notice booking. Would definitely reccomend! :)”

“Jess made Eddie feel at ease straight away. He just really took to her. She's a lovely calm person and he picked up on that. Her house is lovely and I felt happy leaving him there for the day. Jess was also really quick to respond, flexible and the whole thing was really easy to arrange with her. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend”

“Lauren initially arranged a meet and greet and asked all of the right questions. She made friends with Evie quickly and made us both feel really comfortable. Evie was very excited to return for her day care and had a glowing report when I picked her up. Lauren provided 2 updates throughout the day including a picture. Thanks again Lauren for taking such good care of her whilst I had a long work day! We will definitely be booking again 😊”

He obviously had a great time as he’s been fast asleep since we got home didn’t want to leave when picking him up. Thanks so much Alex, Milo will be visiting again for sure!”

“Hannah looked after my 11-week-old puppy for two days, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. As it was my first time leaving such a young puppy with a dog sitter, I was a bit anxious, but Hannah put me completely at ease from the moment we met. She kept me updated throughout the day with messages and photos. It was clear that my puppy was well cared for and in safe hands the entire time. I’ve already booked with her again for a few weeks time, I would recommend to anyone looking for a dog sitter ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“First time our dogs stayed with other people and it has gone really well. Peace of mind knowing they were well looked after in a safe environment with lovely people and looking forward to the next stay!”

“We left our 16 month old Cavachon, Baguette with Ros and Charles for a night. It was her first night away from us and so we did wonder about how she would get on. Ros and Charles were just wonderful and took amazing care of Baguette. They took note of every detail, doted on her from the time they met her and she felt immediately at ease. So did we :) I cant recommend them enough. I wish they lived closer to us as I would have loved leaving Baguette with them over and over again. Thank you Ros and Charles!”

“We booked Ben last minute over the weekend. He was very accommodating and got along so well with Bailey. He walked Bailey for over an hour and got him very tired and happy! Thank you very much for taking Bailey for a wonderful walk. We would definitely have Ben walking and take care of our dog. :)”

“Very happy with my pups walks this week. Louise agreed to pick up these walks last minute as we had a cancellation with our other walker - this has really helped us out and we appreciated the walks she did with our dog. She took him on different walks each day and even gave him a bag of treats at the end. Thanks so much!”

About: I have previous experience as a dog walker and cat sitter. I have grown up with multiple animals in the home and trained my family dog to pass his therapy dog exams last year. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to entertain your pets! I am also on a very flexible schedule so can adapt if your pets have any special requirements or if I am needed to be there for constant care. I have two cats in my own home so I am unable to house pets in my house as I don’t want to cause them or your own pet any undue stress!
About: I’ve owned dogs from the age of 6, both small and large, alongside other animals🐾 I love all animals tiny or giant! I often pet sit for friends, family and colleagues often. I work for a mental health charity full time, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, but enjoy spending my free time going on walks and spending time with my english pointer Ellie who has endless amounts of energy. I would like to put my passion for animals to good use by helping out other pet parents when I can! I’m flexible and understand that every pet is unique and have their own quirks. I’m also open to extra long walks as a girl who loves to get her steps in! I’m available after 5pm on a weekday (Monday-Friday) but sometimes this is flexible! I mainly offer drop-in visits, dog walks, and occasional in-home stays, allowing pets to stay comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment. I don’t host pets in my own home, as I have a dog and want to avoid causing them any stress by introducing unfamiliar animals into their space. As a true animal lover, I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel safe and secure while you’re away. Whether it’s a quick visit, a walk, or a longer stay, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, exercise, playtime, and any special care requirements. During visits, I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, affection, and companionship—not just the basics. I’m attentive to their behaviour and wellbeing, and I always aim to make each visit calm, positive, and reassuring. I respect your home and keep everything clean, tidy, and secure. Trust and safety are very important to me, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.

About: Hi there! My name is João, I came from Brazil to do my PhD research a few months ago and, since then, has been working as pet sitting in Newcastle. I had to leave my two cats under my friend's care during the period I am here (sadly but also thankfully), so I sincerely can relate with the need of having someone responsable, trustful and experience to look after our littles. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats here, as well as of pets for family and friends in Brazil, including dogs, cats, hamsters and bunnies, which I consider positive experiences in developing a sense of how to provide assistance in different situations regarding sitter them. For me, aside from doing an extra money to support my period of study here, it will be a genuine pleasure to spend time with your pets and give them all the love I keep with me for my cats, and I will make sure to take care of your pets with the same attention I would like mine to be cared, ensuring they will be safe, respected and catered to all needs. As I have flexible times at university my schedule is always free. I am available all day every day of week so we can previously arrange the activities you need to be provided (including home visits, house sitting, walk in neighbourhood, take or pick from home to somewhere, or others). But as each pet has their own personality, before I can look after your pets I will need to know as much as possible about them, like routine, diet, any allergies, medicines, behaviour alone and with other animals, in and out of home, activities that they enjoy etc. If you feel that I can help you caring your pet please send me a message so we can chat about how I can help. I have flexible times at university so my schedule is always free.

Would definitely recommend Kirsty, she is an excellent dog boarder and we will be booking again!”

“Delphi loves her stays with Bill and his household. Always updates us and takes such good care of her. She's treated very much like one of the family. Thank you once again Bill. We'll be booking again.”
“Stephen took great care of Missy and kept me updated with messages and photos. She was very relaxed from dropping her off to picking her up. Already booked for a longer stay, highly recommended”

“Mack had a great time after being looked after by Amy for a week. While we were away Amy kept us informed with messages and pictures.. we were totally at ease. When we collected him I'm not sure if he wanted to come home .. but he did and slept and snored after being totally worn out. Thanks again Amy”

“Our Clive was sad to leave! He had the best time and I felt really at ease meeting beforehand for our first rover experience. Clive needs a lot of training and hands on as he’s currently in adolescence and can be very mischievous but Jessica was brilliant with him. Regular updates were really helpful to keep my mind at ease during the stay. Thank you both so much ♥️”

“Nicola has been great in looking after Bella and following my requests, she is very reliable and I recommend her to anyone who wants their dogs well cared for. Thank you again Nic!”

“Anna and Jorge took great care of Floyd. They sent an update daily and posted little videos which was very reassuring. And Floyd must have been very contented with them as I dont think he wanted to come home when I went to pick him up!”

“I'm so happy with the care Inca received from Lauren and Ross but more importantly, Inca was happy. Absolutely top notch care and attention with lovely and reassuring updates. You won't go wrong leaving your precious pet in their care and I won't hesitate to book again if needed.”

“Perfect care for my pooch. He was with Sima for a week of boarding I was updated of his wellbeing daily and he was treated perfectly taken on many walks and played with. I will most certainly entrust them with my dog again. 11/10”

“Ella was an absolute lifesaver for us having Douglas while we went to Kynren. 10 stars. Highly recommended Really chilled, lovely home, clearly loves animals and felt confident and reassured we’d left Doug with someone nice while we swanned off to the show. Thanks again for your patience when we were stuck in the traffic getting out of there too. And you managed to take some lovely photos of him something I’ve not managed to get him to sit still for in 6 years! Thanks again.”
