We had regular updates throughout the evening which helped ease our worries - he fed him and took him out on a couple walks so he could do his business. He was also very accommodating to our needs as we needed to pick Ronnie up at the unsociable time of 11pm. Would definitely use Alex again if we are in the area and need help 👌”

About: I am delighted to join the Rover community as I want to share my love of and experience with dogs and help you with your lovely canine family members. I am very proud to describe myself as a mad dog lady: I have had my own dogs for over 24 years and grew up with dogs throughout my childhood. I have taken care of many dogs – from puppies to the elderly – and have experience in administering medication, should the need arise. We currently have a 6-year-old male (intact) Tibetan Terrier, Barney, having lost my beautiful Large Münsterlander nearly 4 years ago. We all miss having two dogs in the house (particularly Barney) and so I have decided to open my home to care for other dogs. We live in Ringland and have a large fully enclosed back garden and access to wonderful rural walks. My husband and I are retired but very active, and Barney gets at least two 40-minute walks a day (from the door – no need for car journeys), as well as lots of attention during the day. We would be delighted to host well-behaved, fully house trained, small to medium sized dogs (up to Red Setter, Golden Retriever, Labrador size) BUT they must get on with Barney. He is very friendly and very dog-motivated, but it will be necessary to have a meet and greet with Barney before agreeing terms. I would be happy to consider both boarding here and daycare (drop off here in Ringland). Please contact me with any enquiries. I have cared for tortoises, goldfish, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, cats, and dogs of all ages and temperaments. My experience includes supporting a senior dog recovering from a stroke, ensuring their comfort, safety, and rehabilitation while maintaining their daily routine and health needs. I have also successfully bred and raised dogs, overseeing a mother through three litters of puppies and providing comprehensive care for all puppies until they were eight weeks old. This included monitoring their health, socialization, nutrition, and early training, ensuring each puppy developed strong foundations for lifelong well-being. I am currently working from home, which allows me to build pet care naturally into my daily routine. Caring for pets is part of my everyday life. I provide feeding, fresh water, exercise, enrichment, grooming where needed, and regular health monitoring each day. I also ensure living areas are kept clean and that each animal receives plenty of love, attention, and positive interaction. My flexible schedule means I am able to adapt to the individual needs of each pet, whether that involves walks, playtime, administering medication if required, or simply providing companionship. Whether it's playful dogs, curious cats, or small mammals, every animal is given a safe, happy, and caring environment where their welfare is my priority. Your pets will feel right at home with me. About: Hi there ! Since my childhood I've had and looked after many animals all shapes and sizes. I consider myself a confident and caring individual who will look after your pet and their needs. I will try my best to be flexible, and am happy to discuss any particular requirements or preferences. I do have a friendly dog aged 2 of my own, so for any stays at my home address I would require a short meet and greet to make sure they get along first. I am currently working from home the majority of the week and do have time on weekends for bigger walks or longer drop in visits. I have a large fenced back garden for your dog to be safe and play in. Additionally to the grass is a rubber pieced section too.

About: I love dogs. They are family and must be treated as such. I have experience with many puppies up to larger dogs weighing in excess of 30kg. I’ve a sensible head, good common sense and your best friend will get the best care with me. I walk different breed of dogs daily, I adapt the walk to their pace, some older paws need to go a bit slower! I have first aid certificate for dogs and happy to give medication if required. Free most weekends, still have availability all day Wednesday, some on Monday and Friday mornings. Cat drop in morning and late afternoon are free every day. Please contact me to confirm. I will care for your pets on drop in visits as if they were my own. They will have time to play and have cuddles whilst feeding to your schedule and making sure there is fresh water. I do not have a licence to board dogs so not offering this service. Equally I cannot offer sitter services in your home due to having 3 dogs of my own.

“Pinar has been absolutely wonderful with our puppy, Wesley, and always takes such good care of him. Their dog is lovely and Wesley loves to play with him. Wesley is now excited to be dropped off and loves to see the other dog(s). Pinar is great at sending videos and photos throughout the day of Wesley’s stay and is always very honest about how he has been (e.g. will tell me if he had an accident). They are genuinely lovely people and we always look forward to going back!”

About: I’m an 18-year-old female living on a farm, with hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals. I have two dogs of my own, including one who is quite nervous, so I understand the importance of patience, attention, and tailoring walks to suit each dog’s individual needs. I’m also confident handling larger, energetic dogs—my spaniels certainly keep me on my toes! At home, I care for an indoor cat who loves plenty of affection, so I’m equally comfortable providing gentle, attentive care for cats. I’m looking to offer dog walking and pet sitting alongside my studies, combining my passion for animals with staying active, while making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I am currently studying radiology My availability’s are: Monday 3-5pm Tuesday 9-11am Wednesday 9am-5pm Thursday 2-5pm Friday 1-3pm Saturday & Sunday all day If you do have any requests for other times feel free to get in contact and i may be able to be flexible however this is my current time frames I focus on keeping things safe, calm, and consistent for every pet. I stick to their usual routine as much as possible and take note of any specific needs, whether that’s a nervous dog who needs a bit more patience or a high-energy dog that needs proper handling on walks. In an owner’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow all instructions around feeding, exercise, and care. I make sure pets are secure at all times—checking leads, gates, and surroundings. At my home on the farm, there’s plenty of space, but pets are always supervised in a safe environment, I am very aware of the ability dogs and cats may have as I’ve seen my puppy jump a big gate . Overall, I just aim to keep pets comfortable and well looked after while and for their owners to feel comfortable and confident their pets will be safe

About: Animals have always been a passion of mine & nothing beats a wagging tail! Having spent 14 years as a professional dog walker in Surrey, we moved to Norfolk for my husbands job and a slower pace of life, but for me something was missing, my four legged friends. Treating your dog as my own, providing the love, care and attention, that they deserve on their walks and stays. I am DBS checked & having my own Public Liability Insurance for dog walking & sitting. I will provide a safe, fun and sociable service. Sometimes life just stands in the way of providing the time and attention your beloved pet requires. So come walk, feed or play, I will be there. Having moved here recently and settling into our new life in the country, I am not currently working, so it would fit in perfectly with a school run in the mix. I have a large fenced garden, with plenty of space to explore, with a miniature dachshund who loves to socialise and play. I have 2 children, aged 10 & 11, who love dogs, the outdoors & exploring.

About: I've had a dog since I was a child, almost 4 years ago I got our Bedlington whippet Rufus. I am not a fan of aversive training methods. I work from home and have time to let the doggy out into the garden and play with them during my breaks. Doggies can play together or just chill next to me in the bed of my spare room/office. We have woods nearby where we go for walks every day. I can only sit potty trained non-destructive dogs that can get on with neutered male dog. I have a fenced garden, it is not large but big enough for some zoomies. Doggies can be on the sofa or beds and will be let out to the garden whenever ring the reception bell I have placed next to the door to the garden. Rufus has learnt to ring it and your pooch no doubt will too easily, if they howl at me I'll come running as well.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats and have grown up with pets most of my life. I'm often asked to sit for families pets. I enjoy walking, I have experience in giving dogs medication. I'm very reliable. I currently work in a family support worker, l have plenty of spare time to look after your dog, as my hours are flexible. I enjoy woodland and beach walks or villages walks so I can meet the needs of your pet. Very calm and caring person, I work with children and families, some skills are the same which helps to care for dogs too. I am around dogs a lot and am often out for walks. Felixable, kind. Loves the outside and walking.

About: I love animals and animals love, me and my mum rescued a swallow once and still have many memories of it. She went from injured as a baby to being able too fly away.
