“Buddy had a great time here and loved playing with a friend and enjoying the outdoors and weather. He came back absolutely knackered and is missing his little play friend! Would definitely recommend and book again!”

“Wade and Michelle took amazing care of our very nervous and quite high maintenance dog, Cookie. They very kindly met Cookie in advance, and during the stay sent regular updates and photos of them on walks and snuggling on the sofa. They are a lovely family and we will be using them again.”

“Inga and her family took fantastic care of our dog Milo! We got loads of updates and felt very reassured throughout the booking that he was being well looked after and happy. I’ll definitely be booking with Inga again!”

“Bibiana gave great attention and care for our Golden Retriever for about a week. She loved the big garden out back and loved having the whole family to play with. Highly recommended.”

“Sam had another brilliant stay with Golnar. We could tell from the updates that he was happy and settled, and very well looked after by Golnar and her husband. Lots of play and attention and Sam's next stay is already booked in. Thank you!”

“Amazing experience, we felt Ella was in safe and loving hands. Before Ella went to stay, Suey sent over a form to get to know Ella. During the stay we had several updates every day of what she was up to. She looked like she had a great time! This enabled us to relax and enjoy our holiday knowing Ella was with such caring and dog focussed people.”

“Rocio is a wonderful sitter — she is very kind and cares for Jujube deeply. We appreciate that Rocio provides us with pictures and updates throughout the day and it’s clear that Jujube loves her company!”

“We couldn't have asked for anyone better to look after Sparky. May took incredible care of her and kept us updated throughout the stay with photos, videos and messages. Sparky clearly loved her time with May and looked so happy and settled in every update we received. May really understood what she needed and was very accommodating to Sparky's habits. We are so grateful for everything she did for Sparky and would recommend her to everybody, especially those looking for somebody with a great understanding of dogs and experience caring for elderly dogs. Thank you May!!”

“Monty had a WONDERFUL stay with Caroline and Steph!! She sent photos and videos every day so we could see he was happy and loved whilst with them. We also had a late return and they were very accommodating with that, which was very kind. To top it all off, Monty has come back super well behaved - it’s amazing! No more jumping and he’s been so relaxed and good as gold which only confirms how well cared he was. We won’t hesitate in leaving him with Caroline again. Thank you both for loving our baby as one of yours!”

“Mariana did a wonderful job looking after my dog Cosmo when he stayed with her. She sent me lots of photos and I could see how well her and her family were looking after him. I could tell she cared about Cosmo and she even bathed him (after checking with us first) so he was super clean when we collected him. I would definitely send Cosmo to Mariana again in the future.”

“Our dogs have just spent their first over night with Janet and Bruce and they were just great . Lots of photos to reassure me the dogs had settled and I know our dogs were in good experienced hands I am already looking to book another date”

About: I first became a "dog Mum" 15 years ago to our Westie, Elland, who sadly we lost recently. I sadly was that annoying "Dog Mum" who had pictures of her on my desk and booked holiday for her birthday each year. I took voluntary redundancy nearly 6 years ago so have been fortunate to spend quality time at home with her and take her out and about on our own or with her other doggy friends. Unfortunately she lost her hearing about 3 years ago so learnt quickly how to communicate with her with some basic sign language. She also developed dry eye disease so I had to administer drops 5 times each day. Two of these were determined by time so I had to ensure I was available to give her these on time. The last 5 months of her life, her arthritis worsened so I bought a buggy to help her whilst out for daily walks/sniffs. I have also looked after family dogs whilst they have been on holiday and have accomodated raw feeding for one of family dogs. I live with my husband in a bungalow. He still works but is here in the evenings and at weekends. I work during examination periods at a local college but can accomodate pet sitting around this as dates are known well in advance. My contract with the college is ona casual basis so dog sitting will be my priority. We have used a local dog sitter who stayed in our home when we went on holiday. I therefore understand the importance of providing important information to the pet sitter when leaving the pet. When I first stopped working I volunteered for a local hospice helping support a family who used their services, by walking their dog on a weekly basis to give them some respite and also encourage the dog to socilise. I did this for 12 months. I also volunteered at Wood Green Animal Charity during Covid restrictions. Although I was there to help in the fundraising office, we often had dogs who weren't settling in kennels, come and sit with us in the office for the day. Some were quite withdrawn so I learnt how to slowly gain their trust. I am retired so home all day. My husband works full time but is home in the evenings and at weekends. I do some casual exam invigilating but I know dates for this in advance so will not take on any work if pet sitting is booked. I am happy to be led by the owners on when and what activity their dog (s) are used to so am pretty flexible. I have acess to my own car so can take the dog to any appointments if required. I have a fully fenced in garden (6ft) I live in a village with lots of access to quiet walks in the countryside if required, as well as walks within the village itself. I am happy to book out local secure dog fields if agreed with the owner but this will involve driving to nearby fields. As previously mentioned we live in a bungalow so no stairs. We are based in a quiet cul-de-sac so if your dog is reactive to traffic, should not be a problm here. I have space for a medium size crate if required.
“Our dog had such a fun few days with Lauren, her family and their doggy friends! Lauren sent wonderful photos and videos so we knew he was having a ball!”

“Thank you so much for looking after Nutmeg so well. She was very happy and healthy after her stay with you. You had very carefully not let her walk much as requested, as her leg is healing, and it is loads better, so thank you! ☺️”

“Absolutely brilliant cat sitter! We loved receiving the daily notes and updates about how our cat was doing and what she had been up to that day - it gave us so much peace of mind. Our cat was also recovering from dental procedure, so naturally we were a little worried about leaving her, but she made the whole experience so easy and reassuring for us. We couldn’t have asked for better care and would highly recommend her!”

“As always, Jasmine took great care of my babies. I arrived home to happy kitties and I always get updates and pictures. :-) she's so lovely and takes great care. Highly recommended. Thank you Jasmine x”

“Becky was a great cat sitter for our cats over Christmas. They both used to be feral, so strangers make them very nervous however, Becky was very respectful of this and looked after them without giving them any extra stress. Becky also went the extra mile when we were delayed getting back due to the storms. Will definitely book again!”

“Rhian did an incredible job housesitting over the Christmas period, she kept in communication, sent us lots of photos of our cat being well settled and happy. It was the calmest we’ve ever seen the cat after we’ve been away for a period - I would absolutely recommend Rhian to others! Thank you so much for all your help!”

“Nichola took great care of our kitten and made sure he got lots of play. Really good communication so we felt reassured and with lots of pics. He was very happy when we got home! Would definitely recommend Nichola. ”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and have been personally caring for them for over 10 years. I trained my own Labrador from a puppy into the lovely adult she is today, so I’m confident with puppy behaviour, routine and gentle guidance 🫶🏼. Unfortunately I had to leave my Labrador, Maisie in the care of my parents, as I moved from Ireland to here in the UK, which has left me missing her terribly and wanting to give that love to other’s dogs 💗 I’ve also cared for senior dogs, including my childhood dog who was deaf and partially blind, which taught me patience and attentive care. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I treat every pet as if they were my own! I currently work part-time, which means I’m fully available for walks and drop-in visits on Tuesdays and Fridays between 9am–8pm. I’m happy to accommodate morning, afternoon, or evening visits within those hours and will always aim to be flexible where possible. I always stick closely to their usual routine to keep them feeling safe and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, feeding, toilet breaks or playtime, I make sure they get plenty of attention and care. I’ve raised my own Labrador from a puppy, so I understand how important consistency, patience and positive reinforcement are. I aim to leave both pets and owners feeling happy and reassured.

“Thank you again Stacey-Leigh! Stacey-Leigh has looked after Pippa several times now when we've been away, trust her completely and goes great peace of mind when travelling that Pippa is in safe hands”

“Louise did an amazing job! This was my first time using Rover and I highly recommend this service, and particularly Louise. Seeing the pictures each day gave me so much relief, just knowing my cat Charlie was being played with and cared for. Cannot recommend enough!!!”

“Alix did a great job looking after our cat whilst we were on holiday. Communication was good and prompt updates and pictures helped us to relax when on holiday.”

“Deborah looked after Dawn for a couple of hours for two days last week. I was very happy with her care. We kept in contact on rover. So conscientious as thought she had left one of the inside doors open so went back to check. Followed all instructions given. Will boom again 🐾🤗”

About: Caring for animals has always been important to me. I’ve spent time looking after dogs for family, friends, neighbours, plus my own, in the past. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved whilst their owners are away. From daily walks and playtime to maintaining routines. I provide reliable, attentive care and treat every dog as if they were my own. I am currently a stay at home mum, with both of my children at school. Therefore, I can be flexible and my days are free for long walks and playtimes. I have a large, safe and secure back garden. Dogs are free to roam all parts of the house except the bedrooms. Dogs are allowed on sofas for cuddles if needed.

About: Hey, I’ve had pets my whole life (I currently live with my dog and cat) and I have previously done dog sitting whilst at uni. Now I’m working full time, I’m looking to help you with cat care when you’re not around. I love all types of cats and have been a foster before for feral kittens so I take great joy from getting a new cat to trust me. I will look after your cat as if they are my own and provide them with the highest quality care!

About: I've grown up always having cats around. First it was Minty, who my parents adopted just as I was born. She lived a very happy 16 years. And when I was 14 we took on 2 wonderful black sister kittens- Inka and Misty. They are still happy and thriving to this day at my mum's house in Soham. I live in Newmarket now, but when my mum and her hubby go away, they always turn to me for the cat sitting, knowing they've left the house in very capable hands. And, knowing that the cats will be in very cuddly arms! 2 years ago my mum adopted the senior cat Mabel. She has a few issues, the poor thing. But, she's an absolute delight and I always look out for her, and give her the special treatment that she deserves.

About: Hi there, My name is Alanna and I am a research nurse in Cambridge. I currently live in Newmarket but I am originally from Lancashire. I have grown up with many pets over my lifetime from rabbits, to dogs, to cats. I love all animals but cats share a special place in my heart. So much so that once I got my own place it wasn’t long before my partner and I adopted two cats of our own; Bella and Albie. When we adopted them they were semi-feral but with a lot of love, time and patience they have come out of their shells and are now permanently by our sides. I know how stressful it can be leaving your fur babies at home and I understand how important it is to feel like you have left them in good hands.

About: I've always grown up with cats. We've had several rescue cats throughout my life. I've often looked after neighbours and colleagues cats, either popping in to feed or house sitting. I've no problem with cleaning things up! I currently own a rather spoilt rag doll.

About: I have taken care of cats for a few years now and know that some can be very loving and friendly and some like their distance. Whatever the case I will always try and interact by playing with them or petting with them to see if they like it.

About: I’ve taken care of cats since childhood. We had a few stray cats in the neighbourhood, and I used feed them and play with them whenever I had time. I’ve also taken care of friends cats and always enjoyed it.
About: I've taken care of over 50 pets and I've lived in a house surrounded by pets so they get used to me quite easy. I sometimes attract pets outdoors.💖 I am quite flexible with my schedule so I can also sit last minute. Currently rent so I can't take them in my house but I can visit coffees or parks I normally enjoy playing with the animals, feed and clean after them. I am quite creative so it won't be boring, usually focusing on the pet

“Alix & her husband were AMAZING. They took a last minute request and were able to watch both our dogs. She sent me pictures throughout the day, and took them on a couple walks. They were happy & exhausted when they got home - both good signs of a fantastic day! We will definitely use them again.”

About: I am a psychology student with a flexible schedule. I have had pets my whole life, most notably my German Shepard, Zara and Staffordshire bull terrier, Byson but some honorable mentions include Minnie and Molly the mice and Alice and Rosalie the twilight themed bunnies. I also walked a small dog for money during my gcses. I live in a 4 bedroom flat with a balcony but there are grassy areas outside and a big park near by for walks, we are all pet lovers. I am completely free on Tuesdays, fridays and weekends for pet sitting and I can fit walks and drop ins around my lectures on Monday. I do not drive so dogs would either have to be dropped off or willing to ride the bus with me :)

We both work from home so are very flexible and can make sure your dogs won't be left alone for too long. We have a 5 year old who loves animals and will enjoy giving your pet lots of extra playtime (if they would like it!) We both work from home so are always available to be home to care for your pets. “It’s obvious Sharon is a natural with dogs and very easy to talk to. This was Milo’s first time for day care with Sharon and she kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and messages. He had a lovely walk by the river. Milo must have felt at home as he actually ate all his dinner which he won’t always do when we’re not around. Would highly recommend and have no hesitation booking again. Thank you Sharon.”

“We asked Giselle for day care for 2 consecutive days at short notice and she was more than happy yo help. Our dog had never stayed at another persons house before and can also be anxious but this didn't phase Giselle. She was welcoming and happy to meet our dog, Maple and asked questions about her care before I left. Maplee didnt show any signs of anxiety or being frighted at being lwft with someone she didnt know. When we went to collect Maple on the first day, she clearly had a brilliant day and was reluctant to leave. When we returned on the second day, Maple was straight out the car and clearly very impatient to get back into Giselle's home. They clearly had fun on the second day as Maple was reluctant to leave the garden and clearly had no thoughts of wanting to leave. Would definitely ask Giselle to care for Maple again in the future. Thank you for being such a caring person Giselle and allowing us to have a great weekend.”

“I had a great experience with Carmen. She accepted my last-minute booking request, which was a huge help, and took very good care of my dog. She was reliable, caring, and made me feel confident that my dog was in good hands. I really appreciate her flexibility and would happily recommend her to others. Thank you!”

“Amira loved her time with Inga & Bonnie. Amira is always scared around new people but she’s gotten used to Inga very quickly, which is great! Inga has been very patient with Amira’s constant demands to be petted.”

About: Hi my name is Steve and I have years of experience looking after friends' dogs and cats. I grew up with a labrador and (together with my wife and daughter) have been the proud owner of Sam, our (now almost) 7 year old cockapoo. Sam is very friendly, loves nothing more than chasing a tennis ball and cuddling on the settee with a blanket. I work from home and enjoy going for daily walks with Sam around the village and nearby Country Park, so your pet will have plenty of company and exercise during their stay. Your dog will also have full access to our enclosed rear garden, with plenty of space to play, and free access to the downstairs of the house. I am available for day care and boarding in our home, during the week and on most weekends. Before committing to any new bookings, I would like to meet your dog to ensure that your dog is happy to settle with our dog. Please contact me for any questions. I work from home and enjoy taking our dog for daily walks around the village and neaby Country Park, ensuring your dog will have plenty of company and exercise. Your dog would have free access to an enclosed rear garden with plenty of space to play and would also have full roam of the downstairs rooms (inluding access to comfy settees and blankets).
“I am so satisfied with the care that Lokesh and Keerthigaa provided to Luna while I worked long hours . They are a lovely family, kind and welcoming and clearly love what they do. They kept me informed me with photos and texts and Luna was always happy to go back to them! I am very grateful for the flexibility and the support while I had to work long hours and my partner was out of town. I will surely book again if we go on holidays 🙂🐾”

“Alix walks our two dogs multiple times a week. She is incredibly patient and kind with them, especially as one is a young rescue and can be quite excitable. She has also been patient and kind with us and our crazy schedule, always willing to try to accomodate last minute changes. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up on a farm caring for a variety of dogs and cats, which has given me confidence with different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I also completed two years of work experience at a vet practice, gaining hands-on knowledge of animal health and safe handling. I’m reliable, caring, and truly passionate about making pets feel safe and happy. I’m currently on my gap year working part time as a lifeguard, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets at any time in the day, seven days a week! Anima safety and comfort are always my top priority. I respect each owner’s home and follow all care instructions closely, keeping routines consistent to help pets feel secure. On walks, I’m attentive and cautious, always using safe handling practices and staying aware of my surroundings. I’m reliable, trustworthy, and happy to provide regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is in safe hands.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 9 years old, I would be left alone at home to care for 2 dogs and they ranged from small dogs (French bulldogs) to big dogs (English mastiff’s). I have a deep love for dogs, they have always been a big part of me and I’ve always had a dog growing up and would always be playing with them every chance I got! I am currently looking for work so I am available pretty much all the time! Would love to take car and walk some dogs to fill my time and so other people have the chance to go out and do things! I unfortunately cannot care in my own home as I have a cat who does not like dogs at all and for the dogs protection I would like to keep them away from my home as I would not like them to go home with any scratches or injuries. The dogs safety is what matters and I wouldn’t like someone else’s dogs having injuries, I have never looked after a dog and they be left with injuries. I make sure that I protect pets with my life as I am very much an animal based person!

About: We are a work from home family in Ely area with two cavalier king Charles spaniels and a house bunny. We frequently look after other people's dogs both in our home, taking them for walks and checking in on them in their own homes. We have experience with puppies and older dogs and welcome any breed. We both work from home so are very flexible and can make sure your dogs won't be left alone for too long. We have a 5 year old who loves animals and will enjoy giving your pet lots of extra playtime (if they would like it!) We both work from home so are always available to be home to care for your pets. We can do daily walks and frequent toilet breaks for the dogs. We have a fenced garden so there is a nice secure area for your dogs to go out and play. We have two very friendly cavaliers and a house bunny. The house bunny is caged or moved to a different room when other dogs come to stay.
About: I have over 15 years experience looking after other people’s pets aswell as my own. I am pet first aid trained aswell as having full insurance and DBS checked. I currently run my own pet sitting & dog walking business and have regular dog walking clients so all my walks / pet sitting services will fit around that. I look after pets within their own home to ensure they are comfortable and familiar with their environment. I also ensure I meet the pets and their owners before starting any walking or pet sitting services.
About: I’ve grown up with many different animals including dogs, rabbits, cats and guinea pigs. I have my own energetic dog. I have completed 1 year of work experience at a veterinary school hospital and worked with many different breeds of dogs. I’m known to be trust worthy, reliable and full of fun. I’m available from Monday - Friday from the hours of 8am - 8pm, with the occasional latest 10pm for dog sitting if needed. I would love to spend my spare time with animals. I have a driving license of 2 years with a car, I am happy to take them to many different places for walks. I am happy to take your dog(s) to a fully enclosed dog field with obstacle courses and a splash pool if they can swim. They will be dried off before bringing them back into your home.
About: I’m a dedicated and compassionate animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets. I’ve successfully completed a Pet First Aid Level 2 course, equipping me with the skills to respond confidently and effectively in emergency situations. Raised with a deep respect and love for animals, I’ve cared for birds, fish, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, chameleons, tortoises, dogs, cats, and hamsters. Whether it’s walking, playing, feeding, or simply spending quality time with them, I go the extra mile to make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved. I pride myself on being reliable, trustworthy, and passionate about what I do. You can count on me to treat your pets as if they were my own—always putting their well-being first and ensuring you receive the care and attention you expect. Throughout my life, I’ve cared for a wide variety of pets of all species and ages. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I dedicated much of my time to pet sitting and dog walking, providing essential care and companionship when it was needed most. Being around animals brings me genuine joy—I thrive on making them feel happy, safe, and loved. My top priority is making sure every pet feels happy, safe, and respected. I take the time to play with them, offer attention when they seek it, and always honour their individual boundaries and comfort levels. Whether they’re energetic or shy, I adapt to their needs to keep them engaged and content. Every animal deserves to feel loved and secure—and I’m committed to providing just that.

About: I have loved dogs ever since I can remember and have grown up taking care of them, including a diverse range of breeds. I have been a dog walker and pet sitter for neighbours in the past. I adore dogs and aim to give them the best experience as possible. I will care for them as if they are my own, giving them all the cuddles and walks a dog could dream of. I’m currently at home from university and so I have plenty of free time to care for your dog. I am available to walk your dog any days of the week and will give them plenty of cuddles and treats (only if their mom or dad allows it ofc!). There is also a large nature reserve two minutes away from which is the perfect place for your dog to sniff to their hearts content. I have a fenced garden for your dog to roam around in as well as a dog of my own to keep them company. His name is Louie (Lou Lou) — the most lovable dog you will meet. He is incredible sociable with other dogs but would also respects their space. He is only a young cockapoo! Our days are spent with lots of cuddles and belly rubs.
“Finding someone who treats your dog with love and dedication is rare, which is why I'm thrilled to have found Freya who not only ensures my dog is happy but also goes on long walks to make sure she expends all her energy while I'm at work. It's a relief and a joy to know my furry friend is in such good hands.”

“Bibiana gave great attention and care for our Golden Retriever for about a week. She loved the big garden out back and loved having the whole family to play with. Highly recommended.”

“Our dogs have just spent their first over night with Janet and Bruce and they were just great . Lots of photos to reassure me the dogs had settled and I know our dogs were in good experienced hands I am already looking to book another date”

“Issy had a wonderful time with Shaun and his family.he was excellent with our energetic Staffie and we were really confident leaving her with him. They supported our routines as well as including her in their family life. He sent regular updates and the meet and greet beforehand was really beneficial and made us feel really comfortable that she would be well cared for. A very experienced family who looked after our Issy really well.10/10 would recommend.”

“My dog Kara can be very shy and timid at new places, but it seemed like she had no problem settling in and making friends. Holly was incredibly sweet and caring and the environment was very cozy and relaxed. She was also very accommodating to me and my schedule which was great. I would absolutely book with her again.”

“We decided on a last minute trip out of the country. Anna worked with us every step of the way and made sure we were always in the know with our girl. She would send daily updates and photos. It was a peace of mind while we were away to know our dog was being loved and cared for by such a lovely family. Will use Anna again for boarding in the future.”

“Lukie had stayed with Danuta before and had had a great time. When we saw that she was available for the time of our holiday, we asked to book with her right away! Once again, we are deeply grateful for the amazing care she and her family gave Lukie and their companionship to him. Always prompt in her communication with us, and she also sent us several pictures on a daily basis so we could stay informed of Lukie’s amazing walks! When we picked Lukie up he was of course happy to see us but he was also very calm, which reassured us he had felt comfortable at Danuta’s home. Thanks so much for such great care!!! Hopefully we can make it work again :-)”

“Sewwandi did such a great job with Bevo. They sent several pictures & videos and she communicated a lot with us providing updates throughout the day. Bevo didn’t have time to miss us between the walks and play time with their sweet little Boston, Poppy. They sent a few updates that let us know they were treating Bevo like she was their own. A week or so after her stay, we bumped into Sewwandi on a walk and Bevo lost her mind she was so excited to see her! I would recommend Sewwandi to anyone looking for a Rover!”

“So happy we found Jack! He made us feel at ease leaving our boy! He’s very calm and I believe that helped Jed to settle with him! Jack gave us regular updates with photos! He was very quick to respond to any message or worry I had! I’m certain Jed had a lovely time! I would highly recommend Jack to anyone looking for someone to look after their beloved pet!”

“This was Digbys first stay with Stephen and it all went really well. Initially Digby was a bit anxious and unsettled but soon settled in and Stephen kept me well informed and updated. Digby really enjoyed the company of Stephen’s Cockerpoo Sam. I felt reassured throughout that Digby was in safe hands and I’m sure I’ll be booking him again soon.”

“This is our second time booking with Ricci and he continues to be fantastic. Ricci watched our pups for several days while we were holiday and he did an excellent job. It was clear from the moment we returned that our dogs were happy, comfortable, and very well taken care of. He’s reliable, easy to communicate with, and genuinely great with animals, which gave us incredible peace of mind while we were away. We will absolutely book him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!”
“Hector had a lovely time while I was away on a long overdue holiday. She messaged every day and sent pictures showing me what he was up to. I was worried he'd be really sad because he's a rescue dog and does suffer with separation anxiety but he seemed to have an absolute blast! Hope to book with Liz again!”
