About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I have grown up with dogs and now own the most wonderful cavapoo, Callie, who is just over 1 year old. I have been looking after dogs in and around Cambridge for the last year and a half on other platforms and would love to meet new doggos and humans through Rover. We got Callie as a puppy and so are well aware of the needs of young puppies and I am more than happy to do dog training whilst your companion is in my care. My last dog lived to the grand age of 16 and so I am also sensitive to older dogs and making them comfortable. My work is flexible and so I can look after dogs as and when required with very few exceptions from weekly work commitments. Weekends and evenings are always free. I own my home which has a good sized garden with 6-foot fence. I live opposite a play park and so are not close to any busy road. With my own dog I am relaxed with where she goes - on sofas, beds, etc. She does sleep in a crate but we have also had dogs sleep on the bed with me as well.

“We asked Giselle for day care for 2 consecutive days at short notice and she was more than happy yo help. Our dog had never stayed at another persons house before and can also be anxious but this didn't phase Giselle. She was welcoming and happy to meet our dog, Maple and asked questions about her care before I left. Maplee didnt show any signs of anxiety or being frighted at being lwft with someone she didnt know. When we went to collect Maple on the first day, she clearly had a brilliant day and was reluctant to leave. When we returned on the second day, Maple was straight out the car and clearly very impatient to get back into Giselle's home. They clearly had fun on the second day as Maple was reluctant to leave the garden and clearly had no thoughts of wanting to leave. Would definitely ask Giselle to care for Maple again in the future. I look forward to hearing from you! Currently working part-time from home (design/printmaker), so I have plenty of moments during my day for connection and care. I have 1 daughter, so will be on school runs 8–8.15AM & 3.30–4PM, which your dogs are welcome to join me for (sometimes I run the route, if your dogs are athletic –aprx 3km). We have 2 resident mini sausage dogs, but prefer to keep them in their own part of the house if other dogs are much larger. I have a large, fenced garden for your friend to explore and run about in! The property is situated close to several lovely walking trails in fields and forests.
About: Ever since I was little, I've always loved pets. I've spent many hours and days looking after our friends dogs and cats - including house sitting, walks, daycare and check-ins. I would love a dog of my own in the future once more settled, but in the meantime, I would love the opportunity to care for others dogs and cats. If interested, I'm a semi-professional cyclist (and part-time marketer). I'm currently off training (cycling) for a month or two, and will be coming back into training very slowly, so have a lot more free time. I'm working part-time at home most days, with the odd Wednesday working from the office in London, allowing me to move around the local area looking after your pet(s) or having your pet(s) come to stay. Relatively relaxed and free, but there may be a few days or weekends I won't be able to do. I have a very large downstairs space which is neat, tidy with very little clutter, with a great playing field (and crop fields) behind the houses where lots of dog owners walk their dogs.

About: I have 8 years of experience dog sitting, house sitting, and baby sitting. I have also had a summer job working at a dog hotel. I have worked with old and young dogs and a variety of breeds so I am prepared to offer any care they require. I will also send you plenty of photos of you dog and our adventures. I will care for your dog as I would like mine to be cared for. I work for a charity and can work from home at least 3 days a week, but I can take more days at home if I am dog sitting. I will walk my dog during my lunch break and in the morning/after work so your dog can join in on these walks. I live in the countryside so there are plenty of lovely, quiet walks around me. On the weekends I will usually drive to the beach or a park for a longer walk. I feed my dog twice a day with a treat at night but happy to fit into your dogs schedule. In my home: - Dog safe garden, fully fenced off - Friendly dog (4 year old Parson Russel Terrier) - Dog treats, food, and plenty of toys - Dog beds and lots of space inside the house - Consistent food time and walk time to ensure routine - Dog shampoo to wash dogs if they are muddy - Dog seatbelt in my car In someone else's home: - I will follow the rules of the house - Make sure when I go, it looks like no one was there to stay - Clean the house every day - Tidy up dog poo in garden - Ensure your dog has a similar routine - Administer any medication required - Take bins out and other home tasks - Walks, food, play time, and cuddles with your dog - I will bring your dog a cute toy when I arrive

“Jenson had his longest stay with Serena to date and we felt comfortable leaving him in her care. She updated us daily and made sure to meet all of his needs, even though he can be a bit a difficult at times! Unfortunately Jenson needed a trip to the vets during his stay, due to a grass seed in his paw, but Serena and Colin took very good care of him and had no issues taking him to his registered practice. We would 100% recommend!”
